This is a nice hotel, and the price is reasonable. A few little maintenance improvements would make the experience even more positive: e.g. non-functioning bedside lamp ( with some rather dubious repairs) meant there were difficulties turning off and on the main lights during the night - a bit of stumbling in the darkness. Fairly inexpensive to make right. Drainage from the shower/bath (slow) and from the handbasin (plug didn't plug) could also do with attention All-in-all though, a good stay

Could not fault this hotel or staff. Not a budget hotel, but you get value for your money. Relaxing is easy here.

“Very noisy hotel!!!”

The hotel looks better on the photos than actually is. The room and common areas need some renovation. The bathroom gets flooded after shower as it's not sealed on the edge of the bathtub. There were a couple of cockroaches in the room. Wi-fi didn't work half of the time. It's a very noisy hotel most of the time. There were 2 parties during my stay with very loud music until late time and frequent noise of people moving furnitures. The breakfast is another let down. I've been told that if there are less than 40 guests there is no buffet served and what we get is a very limited option. And the staff don't bother to bring more food if run out of food. Overall not happy with my stay. There is a new and nice hotel next door for about the same price.

“Dirty Hotel”

Terrible, I had to request to be moved to a new room because the rug was very dirty and the room stunk very bad, the next room was a little better but not much. There was a pile of wood shavings that the maid never cleaned up throughout the time I was there that were from termites eating the bed. There were mice and rats in the hotel to include the rooms. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

“Rathole Hotel”

Warning! Something like this hotel, we have never experienced. And we have traveled around sixty countries worldwide. We have tented in this House two Deluxe Rooms (White Palace. Already at check-in they wanted to give us an inferior room category. Our Vietnamese goddaughter has then regulated, as the staff has virtually no English spoken. After three days, at night came our goddaughter with her four year old son into our room, because they looked at night a rat that had bitten around in her room on milk cartons and tubes of ointment. The summoned staff looked overwhelmed and so we had five of us to sleep one night in our room. The next morning then they got another room, but to say sorry was the only reaction of the front desk staff. When we arrived in our room the next night, we had to see that also a rat had visited us and had brought fish remains in our room. We then saw to it that the chief had come at night from home, but even here there were besides the only Sorry to another room for the night. The next morning we left after four days. When we checked out we were offered 20 euros converted to for the one night that we had to spend together in one room. An absolute impudence. I can only advise everyone to make a big circle around this house. Instead of "White Palace Hotel" it should say "Rathole Hotel.

“Below average hotel”

I don't like the hotel, sorry. It wasn't exactly as it advertised itself on the internet and agoda.com. The hotel looked very old and dirty from outside. The lobby was narrow and not clean. The lift made you feel it is about to fall. The room is terrible with full of smoking odor even though I had booked non-smoking rooms. The corridor and the walls were dirty with stains everywhere. The whole hotel is with musty smell. There was literally nothing in the room you could use except the TV with mostly local channels. Beds are terrible. The bathroom was even worse with broken shower, no toiletries at all. However, to be fair, the restaurant was surprisingly good with excellent food, local of course. I don't think they serve western food except for bread and butter. The breakfast is ok but local food for breakfast was so spicy, for your information. Anyhow, this hotel was in a very good location in this remote area of Vietnam. Since we just stayed one night so didn't bother to make complaint to the hotel manager. So if you don't mind local food and you are ok with just 1 night sleep on your trip around the beautiful Vietnam, I think this hotel is a good value.

“Comfy and clean overnight stay”

Located on the main road, was a good overnight stay to get some rest and relaxation after travelling on the road. Great to have a big comfy bed and good selection at the buffet breakfast. Great value for money!

I am in the conviction that this hotel is the best choice in Ha Tinh city. The hotel and rooms are very clean and furnished by good quality stuff. Breakfast is quite large, but in Vietnamese style (typical Vietnamese disgust for breakfast as soups etc). Not sure there is any facility for sport.

Cet hôtel était idéalement situé sur la route de mon voyage en moto. La chambre était confortable et tout était là pour se préparer un café. Donc je recommande cet hôtel. De plus, je remercie la réception d'avoir accepté de me recevoir sans supplément de prix alors que je m'étais trompé dans la date de ma réservation. Merci à vous.
