“Location”

Went for a concert but the location was perfect walking distance to Petco park and everything in gaslamp district. Rooms are very small but it wasn’t really an issue for us.

“GREAT location for walking to lots of sights”

Couldn’t have asked for a more convenient and easy location to walk around lots of the city sites of San Diego! We easily walked to the USS Midway, enjoyed the sea walk along the bay, baseball game at Petco Park was literally 3 blocks away, and so many good restaurants in the gaslamp quarter!!! Location, health safe as well as convenient, and surprisingly, pretty quiet for being in the middle of the city. Older building for sure, carpets/hallways etc. quite dated, but room was clean and everything functioned and bed, linens towels, etc. were fine. Hot Breakfast was great and plentiful. Much lower rate than many other hotels in the area, and the location and convenience made up for the older building. Would definitely stay again!

“One nite stay”

Great deal for a week day stay before traveling and flying from cbx which is only 30 min away. Otherwise i would have had to drive 2 hours away.

The room was not at all as pictured. There was very little natural light and it was way smaller than expected. The general location is good, but the hotel is sort of sketchy. Would not recommend spending on this hotel.

has exactly what you need.. great breakfast and is right off the strip. staff were amazing :)!

“Spot on Location! ”

Couldn’t have asked for a better location! Right at the heart of Gaslamp Quarter! It is close to almost everything you need as a traveler. Rooms are a bit tiny but manageable. They kept the room clean and orderly. Breakfast was decent but would have been nicer if they had alternating menus so you don’t eat the same food every single day. All in all it’s still a good deal and a great experience!

“Great stay for business travel. ”

Helpful staff and clean, this is a great place for the business traveler, I would even stay here with my wife. Just a 12-15 min walk to the convention center (3 minute scooter ride!). On the edge of the Gaslight District so you are walking distance close to restaurants. Older hotel so rooms are small but had everything I needed, small fridge, microwave, work space. Mattress was a little firm for me but I was there for 5 nights, probably wouldn't have noticed if only 1 or 2 nights. Great stay overall!

“Good location, friendly staff, good value for money”

The location of hotel is at the historic heart of San Diego. Closing to Convention Center, Petco Park Stadium and lots of other landmarks. The working staff were very nice and friendly. The breakfast included in room fee is good, but not so many choices of food. The room is clean and comfortable. However, the facilities are a little bit out of date. The air conditioner is an old fahsion one and somewhat noisy during sleeping hours. The TV is inputted with analog signal and seems rather vague, compared with digital HD signals. Other facilities are in good condition and work well. Considering the price, this hotel is recommended for those who have a limited budget for hotel.

I was a bit nervous moving out of the Marriott Gaslamp( I was there for business)to the comfort Inn. I thought perhaps it might be a little bit seedy. I was 100% wrong, the staff were lovely , my room comfortable and spotless and the amenities were wonderful, free WFI and a delicious breakfast all in the price. I tell you it gave the Marriott a run for it's money. I would definitely recommend the comfort Inn and I will definitely be back.

“Totally clean rooms, fantastic housekeeping and top quality customer service at the front desk!!!!!!”

The pros include: fantastic, daily continental breakfast, excellent and convenient location, very clean and comfortable room for me and my wife, excellent housekeeping everyday, and very superior customer service from the staff at the front desk. Overall, my wife and I loved our experience at Comfort Inn within the Gaslamp district. Thank you so very much!!! Unfortunately, there was only one con outside of the hotel’s control and that is the outside street noise by my 3rd floor room at the corner of the street and the courtyard. My wife and I still slept ok there for our 7-day stay in beautiful San Diego.

Very dirty place my son was up for 20 minutes in the middle of the night hearing profanities from a homeless person, had to keep the window open constantly to air the place out. The bathroom tile and carpet were filthy.

I would recommend that conference center. However, I have had a very difficult time working with Agoda. I left a day early, and I can not find any way to contact Agoda for my refund. Judy

“Good value for money, for budget”

The location is the key point for this hotel. It is right by the gaslamp district, so we were able to walk to brunch and to the bars etc. The staff were pleasant, we arrived late at night and they were helpful in regards to pointing us to the parking lot and water. There was complimentary water and Gatorade in the morning, which was nice. The amenities were satisfactory. Nothing romantic, but certainly convenient with pleasant staff.

This was one of the noisiest hotels I've ever stayed in. It's located on the corner of two busy streets and the street noise was awful all night. The dumpsters were right below my window where I slept, as well as homeless people camped out for the night. I would not stay here again due to the noise.

“Hotel in good location”

The hotel is a good value for money hotel in a great location. It is clean and tidy and the staff were very good. The only issue with it is that it was quite noisy although the hotel did supply ear plugs. All in all a good option for The city

“Blissful stay”

True to its name, the hotel is really doing everything it can to make your stay comfortable. The beds are great for a restful sleep and the rooms facilities include a huge selection of tv channels, coffee maker, microwave n fridge. We were pleasantly surprised by the breakfast selection. Although the items were the same everyday, there was enough variety to have different breakfasts for 5 days. Our in room heater was not working but they immediately provided a portable heater at no extra charge and it kept the room toasty. The cheap washer n dryer were a great help. They helpfully stored our luggage at checkout as well as while we went for lunch. Definitely will stay here again. Total value for money.

Nice location. Breakfast was good. I liked scrambled eggs with peppers. Shuttle service to airport is free.

good location. Nice filling breakfast. Rooms are small . Facilities old. Aircon was noisy, asked to change room but told the hotel is fully booked. Was told they will send someone to service the aircon but none came. As a result, I slept without aircon most nights. Take note: the fitness centre is outside the hotel.

On the pic it looks like an in in the middle of nowhere. In fact its a lovely building in the downtown with great personell providing wonderful customer service. On the arrival there was a complementary bag of pop corn and water in my room. They even gave me shaving cream as I run out of mine. I absolutely enjoyed staying in there. Great 3 star inn. I wont hesitate where to stay next time im in SD

It's a downtown hotel. The room is comfortable except that you get the noise from the street at night if your room is facing the road. The breakfast is good.

Comfort Inn provided standard service including nice reception, enough breakfast, clean room. However the wireless internet on 4th floor is bad. I moved to the lobby to access wireless internet from my second day to continue my work which was fast.

학회 출장으로 머물렀습니다. 무난히 괜찮았던 호텔. 아침식사도 무난히 맛있었음. 위치가 걸어서 여기저기 다닐만해서 열심히 걸어다녔던 기억이네요. 주변 식당들도 갈만했음.

위치나 컨디션은 나쁘지 않으나 주차비가 24불 있어 렌트카 여행객은 고려대상. 더블 침대는 부모와 4세 아동이 같이 자긴 많이 작음.
