I checked in around 9 PM and there was a couple ahead of me checking in the guy at the front was very rude to them. The area where the hotel is is not safe and I’m a 6 foot two 400 pound guy and did not feel safe walking from the air tram to the hotel. on the second night, the TV was not working and when I called down to the front desk, the guy was extremely rude and told me if I didn’t like it I could just check out and he’s not gonna give me any money back. I did read a few reviews before I booked this and they all said the front desk was horrible and very rude but I took it with a grain of salt now I know exactly what they were saying the whole front desk is behind bulletproof glass and the guy on the phone said he was the owner or the manager he should never be allowed to talk to people ever again do not stay here .

Everything went fine until I noticed that I had 28 bites all over my body the day after staying at this hotel. I spent two days laundering and disinfecting all of my belongings. When I called the front desk to let them know and to ask for a refund they refused, told me they had checked all the rooms and didn't see any signs of bed bugs (no kidding, they can hide inside the mattress...) and refused to pass me on to a general manager. There is also no way to report this or send photos of the bites to upper management. They should really take this kind of thing seriously and try their best to make it right...

“Good value ”
The hotel is an easy walk from the end of the Airtrain line - turn right out the door and walk four short blocks. Check in is quick and easy. The room is small, but clean and has everything you need. The king size bed is very comfortable. Breakfast is from 7 to 9am. It’s predictable, but quite good.

“Three blocks away from JFK Air train”
Super convenient location! Close to everything! I wanted something close enough to Manhattan and jfk, this was a win win situation, the LIRR is right next door. Easy commute to manhattan. I will def be staying here next time for a quick trip to NYC. Hotel room was clean and pretty big comparing to other expensive hotels I’ve stayed before in NYC.

Upon arrival nobody approach you. They gave a room key and told it's on fifth floor. You have to go by yourself to the room. When I reached in a room floor was wet. They used soiled linens to make bed. It has coffee stain and Torn also. I didn't get breakfast in this hotel as they told me they did not have restaurant. At the time of check out I didn't get my invoice as they told me printer is not working. When I asked for soft copy reply was software issue. Till today I am waiting for my invoice on my email id but I didn't get it. Overall my experience was worst with this hotel.

“Don't Stay here! ”
Brand new Holiday Inn Express. Has to be the dirtiest and worst run one of all the one's I've stayed in, (which is many). Breakfast ends earlier than most and the food is less than the quality of all the others I've stayed in. Also have to pay exit & entrance fee for the JFK AirTran $7.75 each way plus $1.00 for the card to swipe in the machine. So. Whatever you're paying to stay at this place add another $16.50 to the hotel bill. There's also no decent food to order or anywhere near this hotel except for an okay fried chicken joint. There is a decent cold sandwich ship about 1½ blocks away which also has great coffee but closes very early and closed on Sundays.

The position is great and nearby JKF airport, yet the location is not that steady and clean but this is not the mistake for the hotel. Overall the crews and staffs are nice and good but apparently not sufficient to their loading ( which always shown by breakfast supplying) For the facility there are quite good in the room but few in the hotel. The most important part is that the elevator can be entering and pick up to any floor freely by anyone even without the key card, combining with the surrounding there I think this is quite a risk to both the tourist like me travel there and also the staffs work there. Yet, overall this is still a not-bad choice for passenger waiting for next flight.
