“Astonishing value”
The room was with bathroom, TV, microwave, etc. It was toasty warm. The breakfast was incredible and too much to eat. Kevin Doyle ran the house so well and was so friendly. Wow!

“Work stay”
This is a great guest house. Comfy beds, lovely warm rooms, located less than 10min walk to city centre and you get a breakfast! Great place and value for money

“Good for the price”
Just what I needed. Near the center of Peterborough. Shops and take aways nearby. Facilities in the room were good and included cutlery and plates...and a fridge and microwave. The only downside was that after using plates, it was difficult to clean them and the room was not serviced during my stay. People were friendly.

“An Irish welcome! ”
Hi, My son and I stayed within the Guest House, and we were welcomed and very well looked after! Bed was super comfortable and breakfast was a treat! I would recommend staying here. 😊

“good experience”
Very welcoming and helpful staff. Central location, about 16 minutes walk from the train station. Clean and comfy room. Both room and toilets were on the small side, but for the price I paid I was more than happy with what I got. Breakfast was delicious and really generous portions: together with the usual cereals, milk fruits etc, I got also a huge Irish fry up. I had read good reviews from previous guests about the breakfast, and now I understand why. It was included in the price, and it kept me well fed for nearly all day! The shower had plenty of hot water and the drain worked well. There is just a small note, the sink in the toilet was carved in the wall, and there was a mini cabinet just on top of it....unless I was putting my head right on top of the sink there was no way to use the sink to wash my face/teeth etc without making water falling off... the design of it wasn't thought really through, but I managed to use it anyway. As I said this was something very minor, it didn't spoil my experience in any way.

“A hidden gem”
Looks like a typical terrace house from the front but are you in for a treat, the rooms are very well equipped with a fridge and microwave included. Kevin was a total host, breakfast was fantastic and the atmosphere great. We are staying there again.

Friendly staff. Ideal location. Fairly priced. Room was very small but clean and contained what I needed. I would have been moved to larger room, but it was fully booked. Took great care of my cycle. Good breakfast.

“Lovely Place”
Ran by a nice couple who were very nice about us having to check in late because of closed roads! We slept really well the room and the free breakfast was delicious with our dietary needs met extremely well It's got lots of nice decorations too. If I am in Peterborough again I will stay again!

It's always a pleasure to stay at this wonderful guest house, from start to finish you are treated with a five star service, the wonderful lady even let me stay on a bit longer as I was getting a later train, such a caring wonderful lady who can't do enough for you, even offered me a lift to the train station. Breakfast as always was superb 😋 👌 This is my 3rd stay, I will be back soon.

“Clean and comfy”
Total value for money, we arrived at about 8pm to a very warm reception from the owner. Lovely man, the place is basic but very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is great as well.

“Noisy, dirty, felt unsafe.”
I had booked a garden view budget room with shared bathroom, what I got was a room facing a zebra crossing. I got no sleep due to drunk people trying to get into my room at 3.30am, I got up, dressed and left by 5am. I would not recommend this place at all. It was awful and I have photos to prove it. I would say its more like a hostel except I have stayed in much nicer and safer hostels than this.

“Excellent value old fashioned guest house ”
Great value place, way cheaper than anything else around and run by really friendly people. There is even a kettle and microwave with plates and cutlery in the room. Everything was nice and clean. On the downside, breakfast began at 5ish (which may be a good thing, depending on your schedule) which meant getting woken up by the banging around in the kitchen/dining area below the room. Also, the vinyl flooring had been thrown down and hacked off at the doorways meaning you were constantly tripping over it. Overall, considering the price, it's a good place to stay for a couple of nights and excellent value.

“Good budget option”
It is a pleasant stay overall. The hot breakfast was excellent and overall the bedroom is basic and no frill but good value for what I paid for. The shower temperature might fluctuate a bit but it is certainly hot enough.

“Basic guest house”
Breakfast was good, Kevin was pleasant, the room was very tired and in need of work!! Unfortunately our room was near the front door with lots of coming and going which kept our dog on high alert from 5am to 11.30pm. Parking is very limited any more than 2 cars and you then need to use the public car park.

Easy check in-around 15 mins walk from centre.Breakfast absolutely great for £5(served 5:30-9,thought he said 10 so missed it second day!!)Even then there was the offer to do something. Stayed at 18A with room at the back-very quiet and slept well.no complaints here

“Get what you pay for!”
Was immediately taken to a different house when I arrived no explanation as to why. It felt like a bedsit when I arrived, dirty carpets, dirty kitchen, dark. Wasn't shown around at all, not even told where the bathroom was amongst the 5 or 6 unmarked doors. Stairs were narrow, steep, rickety, and dangerous. Room with a garden view could catch a narrow glimpse of a bit of grass. In the room itself, pop-up wardrobe, no visible sockets, no mirror to get ready in the morning, wallpaper peeling off and dirty. The ONLY positive thing was that the bedsheets were clean. Not recommended.

I came to this guest house for one night in the single room It was very clean and perfect for the night. Good sleep in a comfy bed, nice tv to watch in bed. Staff was welcoming and nice and the breakfast in the morning was brill And it’s only a 10/15 min walk to the city centre!! I REALLY recommend this little place

“Best place to stay”
I always stay here when I'm visiting friends and family in Peterborough, a beautiful breakfast, staff so friendly and polite, I wouldn't go anywhere else. Just booked my next stay as well. Highly recommended 👌
