Location is great, being next to Gloucester Road station, and close to the Natural History Museum and Harrods. Cafes, restaurants and supermarkets are also nearby. Between Bailey’s and the Millenium next door, the Bailey is a better choice as it only costs a little bit more but has vastly superior rooms that are well kept.
Staff excellent, location excellent, underground short walk from the front door. We can’t wait to come back.
We are currently on our last day at The Baileys Hotel, and we love the place! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the front desk officer, Dilbaal, who has been incredibly friendly and accommodating. Even though we arrived early, he was kind enough to check us in right away, which was a great start to our stay. The location of the hotel is fantastic—just a short walk from Gloucester Road Station, making it very convenient for getting around the city. There are plenty of food options nearby, which adds to the overall convenience of the location. Additionally, the housekeeping staff, particularly a lovely lady Ms. Hermali has been wonderful. She keeps our room spotless and always has a smile on her face. Overall, The Baileys Hotel has made us feel right at home, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. More power!!
prime location, easy to travel around, nice staff, good facilities
The hotel is in prime location. The room is clean and comfy with a good wifi. The staffs are nice and very helpful. Nice place to stay when you visit London :)
They wouldn’t upgrade me to a double bed without an additional charge even though they had two available. They wouldn’t accommodate a roller bed without an extra charge. Not worth it
Perfect spot for visiting all areas. The room was exceptionally big in size. Good overall.
The hotels location is perfect . Tube at the opposite . Staff is friendly. Highlight - Gary is by far one of the best concierge I have ever met . Extremely helpful and friendly!
Pros: Hotel is in an amazing location. Steps from the tube, easy walking to food, museums, shopping. Staff couldn't be any nicer and helpful. Public areas are stunningly beautiful. Cons: I reserved a single room with double bed, but was given a VERY compact room with twin sized bed. The bathroom is uncomfortably small and the shower was so tight i could barely lift my arms up to shampoo my hair. The electric situation in the room is frustrating beyond measure. You have to stick a key card in a slot near the door to turn any of the electricity in the room on, and with the exception of the bathroom switch, I don't know what any of the other switches control. Walls are paper thin and I heard every single conversation, step, etc, that went on outside of my room.
Perfect location rigght across the tube station. No issues with luggage. Surroundings with many eateries option and supermarket right across the hotel. Pret a manger right opposite for breakfast option. Would stay again
Walking distance to the underground. Plenty of restaurants around. There are 2 supermarkets
Excellent location, reasonable room size, clean rooms and friendly staff. The hotel is highly recommended
Very good will come back again
Everything about this hotel is good, I stayed there for 18 nights and I really suggest staying there for everyone planning to go to London.
We booked this accommodation for its convenience to the Royal Albert Hall which was perfect. The hotel is luxurious. It is situated next to Gloucester Road tube station providing easy access to all the sites. The staff were all very friendly, especially the bar staff. Breakfast was self service and plentiful. If you have a seeet tooth you’ll enjoy the pastry selection which was delicious. We would definitely stay here again when visiting London.
Classy looking hotel both inside and out. Great welcome at the hotel and bags taken to the room after easy check in. Rooms large with all facilities you need. The kind of room you are happy to spend time in. We didn't eat at the hotel or use the bar so cant comment on that side of things. Hotel in a great location just across the road from the Gloucester Road tube station with easy access to city centre. The area itself is very safe with loads of restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and a pub across the road. 20 min walk to Kensington Park and 30 min walk to Kings Road, Chelsea. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend.
Really lovely beautifully decorated hotel in a great location
The hotel is right beside the Gloucester Road tube which makes the hotel extremely well located. I stayed in both the cosy double and classic double during my trip. While the classic room was bigger, it didn’t have a view so I felt rather claustrophobic in the room whereas I had a good view of the streets from my cosy double room. Housekeeping was good but the equipment eg light, tv in the room didn’t work well. Breakfast in the hotel was pretty good. During the second part of the trip, I opted for no breakfast. Starbucks, Pret a manger and the Gail bakery were just across the road and I was able to get breakfast easily.
Absolutely awful customer service.
Excellent location , rooms are clean , nice restaurant
We paid what we considered a bargain for 3 nights in London. Initially checked into a very tiny room next to some sort of plant room/vent/air conditioning unit, the noise was intolerable for myself for 3 nights. Staff on reception desk resolved the problem quickly with no issues so overall they were very helpful. Rooms have everything you need, are clean and the shower works fine. Toilet flush is a bit hit and miss like many hotels. Tv suggests you can cast your apps to it however neither of us seemed to be able to get that to work so you can't put your Netflix etc on there. Not really an issue when the plan is to see London, but if offered should work. Location seems fantastic so far. Overall happy for the price we paid.
From the check in to the check out, everything was perfect. Friendly and professional treatment at reception. Wonderfully appointed room. Terrific location. Great value rate. Highly recommend this property.
Just smart TV should be active, Conctied with the mobile just for Listening, I think there is awy to provide a world in the TV smart for the all guest from the all nationality. This my best choice in the London. I don't like change. Thanks and regards
A lovely hotel, great location and from check in the staff were amazing in particular Chris who was so helpful and couldn’t do enough to help us. Will definitely be back and strongly recommend this hotel.
lovely, cosy, elegant hotel with very helpful staff
TV is big, but the placement of TV is a t the corner of the room. Toilet water pressure very low.
The hotel was fantastic. The location was perfect, the staff were amazing and the room was great, especially as we were given a complimentary upgrade highly recommend
Best hotel with best location
Very old hotel staff unprofessional
Clean room. Great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended
I thought I would try a new location and place as I usually stay in Mayfair. I would hands down recommend this place. What a great downstairs bar and restaurant. Staff was phenomenal. I will stay here again for sure.
Good value for money, nice staff
Location is good. You just need to cross a road after you come out from the underground station which takes less than a minute. The room is okay, bigger than expected. The only shortcoming is that you need to climb some stairs to reach your room. Not convenient if you’re carrying heavy luggages.
Good hotel, conveniently located. Good breakfast with many options, eggs, meats, etc. Just don’t book the smallest room type, it’s tiny…
Place did the job. Not a resort but perfect for a London vacay.
Stayed here for two nights. Hotel is older. When I turned on the heat it was very loud. The staff are nice and Han was nice enough to walk me to my bolt around the corner. Right next door to a train station so great for getting around London.
Hotel looks really nice and the staffs are super helpful and nice especially Sebastian! Just one staff I asked him if we can use the reception phone to make an oversea call so I can contact my bank to fix my card issue and he said no, the other morning another staff said we actually could. So just very confused and feel like training should be enhanced.
Lovely hotel, bed was amazing, location was perfect.
Really a lovely busy property. The staff was excellent. On site bar/restaurant just ok as you need to like Asian food everyday. I enjoyed the location as you are in walking distance to the tube and other sites - Harrods - but very nice to retreat back to the property near quieter local neighborhoods at the end of a long visitor day in London proper.
This hotel was a gem! We stayed for 5 nights and couldn’t have asked for a better place. Rooms are very nice and spacious and the bathroom is spacious too. It is literally across the street from the tube which makes getting to places ver quick and easy. It’s also a nice walking distance from Kensington Palace, the Victoria and Albert Museum and Harrods. Thank you to Nik at the front who gave us some great recommendations!
They have lots of noisy rooms (ventilation from the kitchen)... you can't request a room in advance.. so you might end up in a very noisy room. Then they have no other room. I had to change hotel and the Bailey's did not even refund me the night. Don't book!
I loved my stay at this hotel. It's charming, cozy and a good value for money. Very close to the tube and in a lovely neighborhood. The staff were very polite and welcoming, the room not very spacious, but good enough. I enjoyed my stay and I would totally recommend this establishment.
I think you may experienced a hundred times London hotels like me. The boys/door-man were very well, The receptionist was very friendly with a nice personality. Unfortunately, the gold keys do not equal their keys even though they passed manner lessons a long time ago. Nowadays they are colder than the gray winter times of London. Quite Different level with the Ritz One. Ohh, But the price is still reasonable. Hope you enjoy the best location for walking around. Abovid the traffic disaster almost covered the whole central btw.
Came to London for a brief stay to include some Premier League games. The location could not have been better. Easy access to Gloucester Toad Tube station and ability to transfer between Piccadilly, District, and Circle lines made getting around the city incredibly easy and quick. The property is beautiful, a little dated within the rooms but clean. The staff were very attentive but not smothering. For the price it’s hard to find a room of the size in the location. Most of the rooms within Kensington are nearly half the size for the same or more expensive. Would stay here again!
Most of the rooms are aged, double bed small rooms are especially in need of renovation. Family room is much better but doesnt make to book that as a solo traveller. Had a mars confectionary trash just under on the edge of my bed. Visible when you look on the floor. Dont think cleaning is done thoroughly. Same holds for bathroom cleaning. I only liked its proximity to underground and the interior of the hotel is nice, but not the rooms. Staff although cheerful doesnt really care about your needs, I dont have high expectations so that is OK. But you get much better service in other hotels at similar levels.
Very clean and modern room. It was just a very small room. I would stay again. Across the street from Gloucester Tube Station. BigBus tour was also across the street. Travel to and from the airport was a breeze on the tube.

A good independent hotel, brilliantly placed for the Tube network with a variety of places to eat and drink on the doorstep. Really clean and well maintained hotel

We stayed at the hotel during our time in London NFL games. The location was perfect for restaurants coffee and the underground. The hotel was clean, well kept, and the staff was amazing! I would highly recommend staying here

“Good location, but”
Great location, spacious room and easy access to underground. However, the staff at check in were disappointing.
