“立地がいいです”
立地がとても良かったです。ホテルは清潔ですが、エレベーターはないので荷物は階段で運ぶしかないです。ベッドは3段ベッドで、一段一段の高さが低いです。なので、ベッドの上で座ることはできません。貴重品などを入れる小さなロッカーがありますが、大きな錠でないと閉まりません。あとは私が泊まった時は部屋のメンバーがグループで来ている女の子たちで夜遅く帰ってきたり騒がしかったりしました。

“狭い、変な匂い”
2点不満な点があった。まずベッドが狭い。とても狭い。ちょっと動いたら壁にぶつかったり、上のベッドに当たったりする。私は2段ベッドの部屋に泊まってこれだから、3段ベッドの部屋は人数の多さも相まってろくにリラックス出来る環境では無いだろう。 2つ目は匂いだ。１階が共用スペースになっておりキッチンや食事用のテーブルがあるのだが、様々な匂いが混ざり言葉を選ばずに言うと臭い。 安さは魅力だが、安さも納得の設備なので宿代を安く押えたい人以外は避けるべきだと感じた。

“安心して利用できる”
駅から近い、スーパーがある、キッチンがある。ベッドにカーテン、ライト、USBソケットがあるので便利かつ快適。また「静かにするように」と部屋に入る前から案内があるのであまり変な客に当たりにくそう。24時間フロントには人がいるのでセキュリティ面もある程度安心。部屋のはベッド下に大きめの収納があるので貴重品は南京錠を用意のうえ、保管しましょう。 キッチンにあるIH調理器はコントロールパネル右側の電源ボタンを長押し、使用したい位置のコンロボタンを長押しして、真ん中の上下マークを操作すると0〜9のヒートの強さを選べる。9が一番熱くなります。2つあるうちの左側のコンロは4口のうち、右側2つしか温かくならなかった気がする。塩は2つの冷蔵庫の間にあるシンク下にあるけど油はたぶんない。皿、フォーク、鍋、フライパンなどはシンク下を探せば見つかる。お湯をわかすケトルもあるので鍋を使うならケトルと組み合わせましょう。

“コスパは良い”
ロンドン滞在中に２泊利用しました（連泊ではない）。 立地はとても良く、個人的には治安も良いエリアだと感じた。 部屋に関しては、一度目の利用はシャワーとトイレ付きの女性ドミトリーだったので、部屋の外に出なくてもよく便利だった。 同部屋の人が綺麗に利用する人ばかりだったので、清潔感も保たれており、シャワーの温度や水圧はある程度覚悟していたものの、全く問題なかった。 二度目の利用の際は女性ドミに空きがなく男女ドミトリーだったが、偶々部屋の人が自分以外に一人しかおらず（しかも女性）、のびのび使えた。 部屋も広々していて荷物を広げるスペースも十分にあったが、トイレ付きではなかったので毎回部屋を出て共用トイレに行かなくてはならないのが少し面倒だった。 階段はないけどスタッフが荷物を運んでくれる。 チェックイン前にセキュリティのしっかりした個人ロッカーに荷物を預かってもらえるのも良かった。※ただしチェックアウト後は有料 共有スペースが広くて綺麗で、食事や作業をするのになかなか居心地が良かったが、二回目に宿泊した時は若い団体客がいたため朝からかなり混雑していて落ち着かなかった。 過ごしやすいかどうかはやはりタイミングに大きく左右されると思います。 コスパは非常に良いので、ロンドンで宿泊費を抑えたい時はまた利用しても良いかも。

“まずまず”
ドミトリーとしてはまずまずでしょうか。ただ、箱が小さかったので身長180センチの自分には窮屈でした。洗濯物は干すな、部屋での飲食は罰金など、ルールに厳しいようです。シャワーの温度が低かったような。アイマスク、耳栓必要です。

“金欠ならいい。ただ旅の質を上げてくれる宿ではない。”
タイトル通り。 お金があるなら他のもっといいホテルを選ぶべし。ただスタッフは全然普通。 ベットも不潔ではないが、きれいでもない。 一番のストレスだったのはシャワー室。不潔なうえに熱湯か冷水かの究極の二択。冬だったので地獄だった。

“宿泊費を浮かせたいなら…という感じ…”
駅から近く、観光地にも近いですが、ドミトリー部屋(私が宿泊した部屋は))少し狭く、他の方がベッドに登る際に強く揺れる時があります。気にならない人ならいいですが、日本のカプセルホテルをイメージするとなかなかです。 シャワー部屋は、トイレと一緒になっており、男女共用で、空いてるところを使うといった感じです。

コインランドリーがあり助かった。スタッフなのかゲストなのか分からないが、ランドリーの使い方を教えてくれる人がいた。共用スペースも夜まで賑わい、英語が分からずとも和やかな雰囲気に癒された。ドミトリーの部屋では皆静かでゆっくり休めた。駅近くでテスコもあるので便利だった。

“バックパッカーがイギリスでこれくらいなら最善だ。”
宿泊費が非常に高い中で、9人用のベッドホステルを選ぶことに悩みましたが、心配した通りのことはなく、施設自体がきれいでセキュリティも保たれており（電子式カードキーのドア - ロビーと各部屋）、3段ベッドも他の場所に比べて揺れが少なく、カーテンも確実で、充電可能なコンセントがあり、Wi-Fiも快適でした。 だからと言って、ホコリ一つないホテルを期待してはいけませんし、この価格でこの程度の質がないと思えば気が楽だと思います（実際、予定の関係でイギリスの他の場所に行った際にこの場所が恋しくなることがありました）。 欠点としては、タオルの貸出がないこと（ロビーで購入する必要があり、別に持参するか購入することをお勧めします）、シャワー室とトイレが男女共用なので女性にとっては不便かもしれません（トイレの一つのスペースに仕切りがあり、トイレとシャワーブースに分かれています）が、実際に小規模な宿に住んでいた立場からすると、それほど不便ではありませんでした。施設自体がきれいに維持されているからかもしれません。 個人的に、周囲の友人が単純に旅行を目的とするのであれば、私はこの場所をお勧めします。

ロンドンの宿泊施設は高いので、ここはコストパフォーマンスが最高です！共有スペースも完備されていて、パソコン作業もとても快適でした(Wi-Fiの速度は高速です)！スタッフの方はとても申請つです。高所のベッドが割り当てられていたので、変えて頂きたいとお願いしたところ、快く変えてくれました。感謝しています。地下鉄の駅とユーストン駅も近く、空港間との往復およびイギリス国内遠方への移動においてとても助かりました！ランドリーのサービスもあり、これを含めてすべての支払いにおいてクレジットカードが使えた事が嬉しかったです。素晴らしいロンドンでの滞在をありがとうございました！！

“シャワーが難しかった”
シャワーが男女共用だったのは別によいとして、脱衣スペースが無く、シャワーカーテンなどの仕切りも無いため、持ってきた着替えや脱いだ服などはビニール製の袋などに入れておかないと、少なからずシャワーに濡れる可能性があります。また、ベッド下の引き出しに各自の荷物をしまえるので、南京錠を予め持っていれば安心して荷物を保管できます。(←南京錠はフロントでも購入できました)

“慣れると快適”
トイレやキッチンが汚いことがあり、初回に衝撃を受けるかもしれないが、慣れると気にならなくなる。特に立地とWi-Fi環境がよく、スムーズに作業できる。少しお金を出して9人部屋、６人部屋のトイレバス付きに泊まるとさらに快適。

“潜水艦の様なホテル”
私は1番安い15人のドミトリーに泊まりましたが、ベッドは指定されてないので、下手したら3段目になりとても面倒です。 シャワーは共有で6個ほどあり、男女別れてはいますが、清潔にはかけます。また、安宿だからなのか宿泊者の民度も総じて低く感じ、便座を上げずにトイレをした跡などもあり、とても不愉快でした。 しかし、立地は最高である為ロンドン滞在のうちの2泊程をここにして、滞在費節約などに有効活用出来そうです。 朝食はトーストおよび果物のジュースなどです。 このホステルに長期滞在している主のような外国人もいる為怖く感じることもあります笑

“夏場の4階は厳しい”
物価の高いロンドンなので、この宿の値段や、朝食が付いていたり、調理器具があることはとてもよかったのですが、私の部屋は4階にあり、エレベーターは無く、たまたま猛暑だったこともあり、クーラーの無い10人部屋は地獄のような暑さでした。外気は下がっているものの、部屋には扇風機が1台むなしく回っているだけで、蒸風呂のように暑く、機能していませんでした。セキュリティ的に不安でしたが、ドアにゴミ箱を挟むことで隙間をキープすることで、なんとな眠れる気温になりました。夏場だけかもしれませんが、この暑さは最悪です。改善されるべきです。

“すべてにおいて最高！”
値段の割には綺麗な設備、抜群のロケーション、そして何よりスタッフが親切！ ロンドンの素敵な思い出の一つとなることでしょう。 しかし部屋はルームメイトによって当たり外れあり。 最終日のみ部屋から異臭がしました。 が、人数が多いので仕方ないでしょう。

“チェックインが早くて助かった”
良い点) Google Map上でみるより駅から近かった。 ピカデリーラインのためヒースローから乗り換えなしでOK。 チェックイン11時(そのためか各自でベットメイキング) 各ベットにカーテン、コンセントあり。 シャワー室にドライヤー備え付け。 夜まわり静か。 悪い点) リフトがないので注意。 チェックインが早いためか掃除が間に合ってない。 清潔さにかけたが最適だった。

“数日寝るだけなら”
エレベーターがなくて3階まで重いスーツケースを運ぶのに大変でした。スタッフもあまり親切ではないのであまりいい気分はしませんでした。ただ駅からとても近いのでそこだけはよかったと思います。

“ロンドンで安く泊まろうと思ったら、いろいろしょうがないと諦めるしかない。”
必ず友達ができる、立地が良い、ネットができる16人部屋(mix)に宿泊。まず部屋の小ささ、ベッドの小ささ、地下室という陰気さに、こんなところに泊まる自分が情けなくなりました。でも、ロンドンでは、この値段でどこかに宿泊しようと思ったら仕方のないことなのだということを知りことで割り切る。なんだかんだで2泊目には慣れました。朝食も食べられるしネットも使えるので、寝ることの快適さを求めなければ大丈夫。フロント員はフレンドリーでした。 空港からundergroundで乗り換えなしで行けるRussell Square駅から歩いて5分程なので、ロンドンが初めてのバックパッカーには最適だと思います。

“二度と泊りたくない”
無料Wi-Fiが使用できる。朝食がついている。中心地にある。ドミトリーに宿泊したのですが、においがきつかったのでなかなか寝つけませんでした。またドミトリー内の換気も悪かったためか一泊目でのどの調子を悪くしました。 滞在中はここに帰るのが憂鬱でほとんど外ですごし、三日目には我慢できず他のホテルをとって移動しました。 確かに他とくらべると料金は安いですが、それで体調を悪くしたら元も子もないですし、私は（少なくとも日本人には）このホステルはおすすめしません。

“ロケーションは良いけどシャワーは微妙”
ロケーション最高！ラッセルスクエアの裏にあり、徒歩約2分。近くにテスコがあり便利。SOASや大英図書館が徒歩15分圏内なのでこれらに用事があるときはかなり便利。このお値段で朝食がつくのも嬉しい。ただ、シャワーは難点。まず温度調節が出来ない。シャワーの個室の中に持ってきたシャンプーなどを置いておく棚などもないので足下に置くしかない。体育館のシャワールームのほうがまだまし。となりの人の汚水が足下に流れてくるのはとても不衛生に感じる。ドライヤーがあると書いてあったが利用したときは全て故障中。本当に眠るだけだったら十分だけど、本当にシャワーだけが残念でした。

“Lovely location in London ”
Very old building located close to transportation, Oxford st & The British Museum. Bunks stacked 3 high took some getting used to but the top one definitely ideal to sit up in. Kitchen available with eating/TV area. Well maintained by the wonderful cleaning staff, with delightful reception staff.

“Great stay and a great location”
The room was comfortable, it had en-suite shower and toilet, as well as a separate sink. Location is great and so is the staff. The only drawback might be that the beds are a little bit short and if you are a taller person it’s a bit hard to fit in but other than that it is a great stay. Would recommend and would stay again.

Beautiful location!! Right off from the train station. Wonderful front desk reps. Wonderful rooms. Multiple shower stalls so there’s no wait time to get a shower. And the showers are SO NICE!!!!!!! Quiet time signs posted so you’re guaranteed a good nights sleep to! Very clean and well organized

“Great”
I have no complaints, the staff were lovely and kind and everything was clean. I really appreciated the curtains on the bed for extra privacy. A few tips: * The lockers won't lock if the shackle on your padlock isn't thick enough. * I'm 6ft 2 and I was just at the point where I couldn't quite stretch out in full in bed, since they have solid walled ends. I was just fine, but if you're any taller you might feel a bit cramped.

“Excellent hostel! I was pleasantly surprised ”
Really good hostel located in central London. I've stayed in my fair share of hostels over the the years so I set the bar low. But I was actually very pleasantly surprised with Smart Russell Square Hostel. Staff were friendly, kitchen was spotless, showers and toilets were always clean and the bunks were more comfortable than I expected. I'm 6ft tall and managed in the bunk ok. Anything over 6ft and you may struggle to lay straight when flat. Don't expect to sit up in your bunks, they are compact and cosy. All in all I recommend staying here, and would stay here again when next in central London. Something worth mentioning, they seem to have a shortage of bowls in the kitchen, and the lockers didn't work with my padlock so I had to buy one from reception for £4.50 (mine was too skinny so the door lock didn't engage meaning the door still opened when locked).

“You get what you pay!”
I was into 4 bed dorm. Room was small but clean. It was on 3rd floor but no lift so it was so hard to climb after a long walk in the city. Kitchen need more cleaning as a lot of people use the same kitchen and its a common kitchen. The staff at the reception are amazing! Overall if you’re on a budget and need a place for 2-3 days in central London it’s a deal.

“朝食はうまい、ベッドは狭い”
Russell Square駅から徒歩5分ほどに位置するこのホステルは、大英博物館まで徒歩10分以内でアクセスすることができます。 ナショナル・ギャラリーやビック・ベンなどにもバスや電車を使って簡単にアクセスできます。 公共交通機関が高いかつ街並みが美しいので徒歩で向かっても楽しいです。 設備はほとんど不自由ないですが、シャワー室には脱衣所がないので、着替えるのが難しいですし、プライバシーを気にされる方はやめたほうが良いかと思います。 また、ドミトリーのベッドは3段になっており一番上はかなり上がるのが厳しいのと、ベットがかなり狭いので身長が180cm以上あると足を伸ばして寝ることはできません。 一番気に入ったのは朝食で、6.5£で食べることができますが、本格的なコーヒーマシンやフルーツジュース・ベーコンに卵などが提供されていて外で食べるよりもお得に利用することができます。
