The location is quite out of the way . Not for holiday though. It is more suitable for businessman on business trip around the the industrial estate. The Japanese food was quite but not much varieties. The equipments in the gym are quite good but they are placed too close to the television set . Overall it is still not a bad choice

“Nice hotel near Ban Chang center”

This is my #1 choice if I'm going to Ban Chang. But it sells out pretty quickly, especially on the weekends. The best thing is that it's about the only place I've stayed at that has nice beds. Usually the hotels in the area have the cheap, hard beds. If you're picky about beds, it's worth spending a bit more here to get what you want. The Japanese food here is not too bad, either. The gym is small, but you can get a good workout. And the pool is a decent size and good for laps or just cooling off.

“Very convenient location”

We were only there one night to attend a triathlon nearby, but the room was nice (although hot water non-existent in the room) and quiet. We didn't have the included breakfast as we left very early in the morning, but the restaurant area looked nice. We did ask for twin beds when we booked on Agoda, but only got a queen bed. No problem, but not what we had requested. Check-in and check-out was easy and reasonably fast.

a nice hotel in map-ta-pud area. breakfast is great. my kid loves the pool. the downside may be the need for the elevator for the guests who stay on the third floor.

Very good hotel with large clean rooms.Good Japanese restaurant too. Used alot for business,but a good hotel to use if in the area.We played golf at the 2 close by courses.

“The Room Needed a Handyman”

This is a good hotel, overall. However, Room 1110 needs a bit of work done to it. You had to make 3 or 4 attempts with the card to get the door open. Then in the bathroom (the next day) we found that the inside handle in the bathroom was completely loose. If the door had locked shut, there would have been no way to open the door. If you were unable to break the door down (which I would have done myself) or have someone open the door from the other side, you would have been stuck in there until someone could come get you. Also, the towel rack in the shower was broken, so it hung down at a 45 degree angle and you couldn't keep a folded up towel on it.

“Beautiful rooms but a little out of the way”

Rooms are fabulously appointed with everything you could need, however there were a couple of glitches. The breakfast was very poor, the hot water was warm at best, and it was a long way from anything. This hotel is in a little village called Ban Chang, which is located in the PROVINCE of Rayong, not the City of Rayong, which caused much confusion for the driver trying to get us there from bangkok. Because of it's remote locality, both Tuk Tuk drivers and Taxi's charge 5 times more than usual for service. It was lovely, but not what we expected, and due to it's location, there was no saving to be had by booking through an online service, since after taxi fares (1,500 baht one way), we could of stayed in a 5 star resort.

“A quite place in a location with few classy hotels”

Ban Chan is not a tourist destination by itself & the Grand Garden Hotel was somewhat of an Oasis in a quiet place. The staff were friendl;y, the food was good and the facilities were excellent. A lovely place in an out-of-the-way location.

A lone female or a family wouldn't be comfortable here as the hotel caters almost entirely for offshore oil workers like myself. But the hotel itself was brilliant. However, they should hire English speaking desk staff though. And it is annoying when the restaurant staff just stand about watching Thai soap operas!! Turn the TV OFF please!!

“Nice resort style serviced apartments”

We arrived late at night and staff were great. Kids loved the pool and the garden. The hotel was very presentable and the restaurant and food was great. This is a gem in the heart of a small Thai town. Easy access to town centre and main roads.

Good Value hotel in Ban Chang which is clean and very spacious. Need Car, close to Tesco, need to drive to beach, small swimming pool. Great if you have own transportation and have other activities planned in the area.

WE thouroughly enjoyed our stay here, as a matter of fact we even extended for a couple of days, Adequate sized rooms and facilities, shame about the shower, yes it ran hot or cold but only a few moments at warm, The Omlette for Breaky was great. Nice pool and drinks service

“Great location but no lift to the third floor”

we stayed here as an option to the coast because of its proximity to banchang and its famous strip and camel bar,, the staff are quiet but friendly when approached, a good sized room comfy bed however the shower definitely gets a 2 out of 10 rating, sorry guys everything else is so good your showers do not make the grade. never mind we extended our stay here and made the most of it all. keep up the good work grand garden but do call a plumber.

“Spacious room that is very clean”

it's about 3km from the beach, therefore close enough if you have a car. the maids work non-stop keeping the rooms spotless. the food was average and the swimming pool, which looks impressive on the hotel site, is a big disappointment. excellent use of free wi-fi, including a number of computers on the ground floor. annoyingly, security light was just outside the window of my room and i found it difficult to get to sleep as the light was very strong.

2024년 공한에서 택시타고 새벽에 도착하니 호텔이 전면 공사중 아고다 예약하고 갔는데 너무 황당했었어요

วันที่04/06/60 ก่อนออกจากห้องตอนcheckout เพิ่งรู้ตัวว่าทำตุ้มหูหล่นหายพนักงานที่มาทำความสะอาดมาช่วยกันหาจนพบ ประทับใจมากค่ะ

จ่ายค่าห้องไปเพื่อได้รับ 1.พื้นห้องสกปรก เหมือนไม่ได้ทำความสะอาดมานาน ฝุ่นเยอะมาก ต้องล้างเท้าก่อนขึ้นเตียงทุกครั้ง 2.แอร์เก่ามากกก แวบแรกที่เห็นคือทำไมเก่างี้ แต่ก็ไม่ได้คิดอะไร พอเปิดแอร์นี่รู้เลย ไม่มีความเย็นเลยแม้แต่นิดเดียว ต้องเปิดแอร์จากห้องนั่งเล่นให้เข้าไปในห้องรับแขกแทน 3.น้ำในห้องน้ำรั่วเยอะมาก ส่วนแห้งเปียกเลอะเทอะ 4.ให้หมอนมาแค่คนละใบ แบนมาก นอนแทบไม่หลับ 5.ตื่นเช้ามาจะไปเข้าฟิตเนส วิ่งไปได้แปดนาทีรู้สึกแปลกๆ เลยลงมาดู ปรากฎผ้าใบตรงลู่วิ่งย่นมาก ดีนะที่หยุดวิ่งก่อนไม่งั้นอาจสะดุดแล้วล้มได้ 4.อาหารเช้าแย่มากๆๆ มีแค่ข้าวสวย ขนมปังปิ้ง ไก่ผัดเม็ดมะม่วงที่เหลือแบบเป็นเศษมีเนื้อไก่แค่ห้าชิ้น ไก่นี่เหนียวและแข็งมาก เหมือนของค้างคืน แฮม ไส้กรอก ข้าวต้มปลาคาวๆ และซุปมิโสะ? คือเราหิวมากแต่กลับเจอของเหลือแค่นั้น คิดดูเหลือเวลาอาหารเช้าเป็นชั่วโมงแต่กลับมีแต่ของเหลือแบบเศษๆ แถมรสชาติห่วย กินไม่ลงทั้งโมโหทั้งหิว นี่เหรออาหารเช้าของโรงแรมสี่ดาว แย่มากกก 5.เจอแต่อะไรแย่ๆกลับไปห้อง เจอแม่บ้านกำลังทำความสะอาด เราถามว่าเข้ามาทำทำไมอีกสองชั่วโมงเราก็เช็คเอ้าท์แล้ว (บอกตรงไปพักที่ไหนคืนเดียว ไม่เคยมีแม่บ้านเข้ามาทำความสะอาดตอนไปกินข้าวเช้าเลย) แม่บ้านบอกว่าทำให้ทุกเช้าค่ะ (เหรอ แล้วเมื่อคืนที่พื้นสกปรกนี่คืออะไร) เช็คเอ้าท์แล้วเดี๋ยวทำใหม่ให้ได้ค่ะ พูดจบก็ทำต่อ เราก็ต้องยืนรอ ทำเสร็จก็ปิดประตูดังปัง! ดีมากอ่ะ สรุปคืออย่างที่บอกห่วยตั้งแต่ห้องยันอาหารเช้า หาความประทับใจแทบไม่ได้ ดีหน่อยที่เช็คเอ้าท์แล้วยังให้ยืมผ้าเช็ดตัวไปอาบน้ำในห้องน้ำสระ(แฟนออกไปขี่จักรยานมา) นอกนั้นคือห่วยและห่วยมากกกกก จ่ายเงินไปเพื่อหวังจะได้ห้องดีๆ กลับมาจากแบบนี้ บอกเลยคืนละพันยังเสียดายตังค์

ดีถูกใจมาก ห้องพักสะอาดใหม่มาก ที่นอนสะอาดมากห้องสวย ยกเว้นน้ำอุ่นอุณหภูมิไม่ค่อยคงที่แต่โดยรวมถือว่าดีมากประทับใจมาก กลับไปพักอีกแน่นอน

เราไปทริปดำน้ำที่แสมสาร ก็เลยไปพักที่โรงแรมนี้ แถวนั้นไม่ค่อยมีโรงแรมใหญ่ๆ เราว่าอันนี้ดีสุดแล้ว มีอาหารเช้า มีร้านอาหารญุี่ปุ่น มีสระว่ายน้ำ ห้องใหญ่มาก นอนได้หลายคน ห้องน้ำก็ดี ราคาไม่แพง

พนักงานเตรียมความพร้อม ใบจองของลูกค้าไว้เป็นอย่างดี ทำให้เข้าพักได้รวดเร็ว แต่พนักงานเคาเตอร์ ไม่ค่อยยิ้มแย้ม ใกล้หาดหลายหาด เดินทางสะดวก ติดถนน ใกล้ห้างสรรพสินค้า อาหารเช้ามีให้เลือกน้อย แต่มีครบหมวดหมู่ อาหาร เครื่องดื่ม ของว่าง ขนม

โรงแรมใหม่ บริการ ดี ใกล้ แหล่ง ของ กิน ใกล้โลตัส แต่ สระ ว่าย น้ำเล็ก ไป หน่อย มีไวไฟ เฉพาะตึกใหม่ ส่วนตึกเก่าใช้ สายแลน

ไม่ไกล จาก ชุม ชน แต่ ถ้า มีรถ จะสะดวก กว่า ห่าง จากดลตัส ประมาณ 500 เมตร มี สระ ว่าย น้ำแต่ไม่ค่อย น่าเล่นเท่าไหร่ wifi มีเฉพาะบางตึก ที่เหลือเป็นสาย lan

Stannade bara en natt. Hotellet är mycket fint men läget är kanske inte det bästa om man inte är "golfare".
