    “Disappointed Service Level with Unfriendly Receptionist, name is Bank”

    Very Bad service level for this class hotel... Not professional at all for all kind services, I had a very bad experience ever during my stay in this hotel, especially the reception staff name Bank, he is very unfriendly and doesn't helpfull at all as front liner staff... I will share my bad experiences to all my friend who want to visit Phuket to not to stay in this hotel ever!!

    “Dangerus pool!!!”

    Dangerus pool and moskitos all over and they leav the doors open when they cleaning the rooms.. so its impossibl to sleep!!! Really bad dont spend your money here

We wish to clarify that we upgraded you to a room type to a room with private pool after you informed us about your concerns about the main pool. Also, it is standard practice to leave the doors open while Housekeeping is cleaning the room, as it allows air flow in the room to freshen the rooms up. The Hotel also conducts regular pest control for mosquitoes, as we are located in a tropical climate. We do understand that you requested for a full refund, which we unfortunately could accept, but we hope that you will give us the opportunity to turn your experience around in the near future.     “No customer service whatsoever”

    Took me one hour to check in since they couldn't find my reservation, even after showing them my confirmation number. Then the room I was given did not match with the description and the size posted on Agoda.

    “Good hotel with pool access for relaxing vacation”

    location: far from shoping mall, but close to beach and quite checkin: very helpful front desk lobby: lounges and sitting area is nice facilities, spa, pool, gym, reading room, resturant, all are very nice room: nice and big room with pool access almost like a private pool villa services: very good and food are nice

    The location and staff were good ,but we were not happy because the bed was dirty ,the bathroom was dirty with humedity signs every where,the room door was not opening so many times with the card so we had to go to reception all the time,electricity disconnected frequently which scared my kids,over all the asked price compared to what we see was over demanding,it should be less than that,thanx

    “A short holiday”

    “not helpful and weak service”

    They don‘t do laundry in 24 hours, you have to login to the WiFi again and again, difficulties with storing the luggage and so on. Too high a price for a low service

    “Buen hotel en general le falta mantenimiento ”

    La locación en general es buena frente al mar. Se puede llegar a Bangla Road caminando unos 15 a 20 minutos. Es bien hotel aunque le falta algo de limpieza y las instalaciones ya se notan un poco viejas. Se ve mejor en las fotos de lo que es.

    “Buyers Beware: This is a sad hotel that have lost its soul; the place is falling apart”

    This is an art gallery (and impressive art) but the hotel is falling apart and the restaurant is badly rated for quality/comfort reasons. The website contradicts everything; well maintained gym a lie (everything broken, not maintained, no towels unless you complain), rooms falling apart (dirty areas, invested some rooms only, towels torn always, multiple things broken), website picture of room service breakfast, but nothing - 3 days coffee machine broken (a first for any hotel, especially a 5? star), main 198 lobby bar not operational contradicting website. Internet connection old school connection; quick time-outs in Patong where it is fast and cheap (I went for a DTAC uncapped account). To round off, bad replenishment of room mini bar - multiple extra charge. Management in complete denial/arrogant and blaming hotel owner; they can NEVER apologize for anything - luckily many great hotels around them.

    “Very disappointed with everything”

    Me and my husband stayed for one week, to celebrate anniversary and birthday while being in Thailand for the first time. We informed the hotel about this, kindly offered reciprocity (being in the industry) received no reply and then arrival we were told they dont do anything. The only thing they can do is give us a birthday cake which they never gave us. This would not be a huge deal if everything else wasnt so bad. No one spoke english, no one understood us and when we had important queries (such as our bag being stolen very likely by staff member who was supposed to move our luggage) no one showed effort in trying to communicate, listen or to solve problems or improve bad situation. No effort in helping customers at all. One young trainee even laughed in our faces when we were panicking about my bag being stolen (with money, important documents etc.) on top of this, the internet was terrible as well as the gym however it was the staff behaviour that was the worst.Would not recommend.

    “Unfriendly staff”

    Location of Hotel and cleanliness of the rooms was ok, However, the check-in staff (front desk) were not friendly and not helpful at all. 1. Check-in - we were asked to pay for the room even though we had prepaid everything. Took them 20 minutes to finally understand after showing them that my credit card was charged. Their reason "oh it's hotel policy to pay when you check-in." 2. Check-out - we were asked to pay for the room again, and to make matters worse we were given a drinks bill even though we didn't have any drinks at the hotel of which the labeled extra guest charges. Took 30 minutes for them to finally realize that someone used our room number to order the drinks at the pool bar. I guess it's easy for anyone to just give a random room number and order as much as they want. If the staff were more friendly and the management had a tight verification process to ensure that orders are not mixed up then I would definitely give this hotel a high rating.

    “It was great but not worth my money”

    Sadly, I left slightly disappointed. If you love the beach then this would be the best place for you. The beach was just a short walking distance and the view was breathe taking. However the room did not live up to the hype. It was very empty and boring and the jacuzzi was a disappointing addition

    “Excellent location and pool but needs to revamp itself to justify prices”

    The room was huge and very clean. Loved the room! Bed was comfy, superb bathroom. The pool is amazing and the location perfect. But prices are high and the overall package did not feel like I got my money's worth. The hotel facilities are rough around the edges. Paint, carpeting etc in the common areas need a serious revamp. The staff needs to better trained in English. The jacuzzi in our room was not working and we had to get it fixed which took a couple of hours thus was a huge waste of time and we were not able to use it in the end cuz we had to leave. We also had mosquitos in our room!

    “Restaurant staff service was terrible , had to wait. 10 minutes for a table . Staff was not busy”

    For breakfast had to wait for a table. , staff was not busy and only 1/8 of the tables were used . I finally just went to my own table . No business centre . . Had to walk through wet mushy AstroTurf to get to my room. . Should just tear out that crap . . Pool was gated off still at 12 noon .

    “Away from the bustle of patong”

    Quiet place away from the busy patong area, very good security, very attentive and friendly staffs, great infinity pool facing the sea, and for us, great lazing at our pool access to a lap pool. Great dining at b-hive. Near some recommended dining places eg. Number 6 restaurant and number 9 restaurant serving great Thai food. About 15minutes walk to Bangla walking street and jungceylon.

    “upgrade from Tour Hotel”

    I preferred the north end of Patong Beach where B Lay Tong is located. Easier access to numerous higher quality restaurants, staff was very helpful, outstanding swimming pool, and beach front location. I enjoyed the quirky modern art throughout public facilities, and room's great large walk in showers. Nice breakfast, and dinner available if you don't want to go out.

    “Nice stay”

    It's our second time we stay at B-lay the lobby and public areas has a very young and cool design. Rooms are clean and stuff is nice. The breakfast is way better then other hotels in the same price level around Phuket and we will consider to check here in again

    “Friendly helpful staff, great pool, lovely beach ”

    The staff rushed to help me when I dropped my phone in the pool and sent it off to the phone shop with no charge. Staff always happy to assist with a smile. Pool lovely except for the smokers there and the club music some guests request at the pool which made it hard to relax. The larger pool (the ocean) a few meters away was always lovely without the crowds of the lower Patong Beach. A very pleasant stay.

    “Good staff, average food and location”

    staff was very helpful and courteous. it's a 15-20 min walk from Bangla walking street which has most of the night life. At the north end of Patong beach, convenient access to the sparsely crowded area of the beach. Food choices for vegetarians were quite limited

    “Overpriced, needs repairs. ”

    The staff is friendly and responsive, but it's incredibly overpriced and badly needs maintenance and repairs.

    “Review”

    There was no internet in the rooms, no atmosphere on the grounds & the place needs a refresh. The scales, clock radio and shower system did not work properly and there was mould in the bathroom sink. This is definitely not a 5 star....more like a 3/4... There were also no maps for tourists. In saying the above, the staff were all excellent.

    “Very disappointed, never back agIn ”

    This is not 5 star hotel, I feel like being cheated by the information on the website. Nothing like I expected, I don't understand why it's rated to 5. As a regular traveler, this hotel is 3 star. Very small reception , I was bit shocked when I got there. I thought the taxi took me to the wrong hotel. Poor quality service, didn't clean my room until I called them at 5pm , but didn't even leave new towel . Wall air condition was build on top of the wall ,the cold wind blows to your head, I couldn't sleep at all. Room is very poor finished , paint every where, wall paper came off..... ..,,,, I didn't really write reviews after my stat, but this time I was so disappointed, It's just not pleasant stay, there were too many reasons to make me feel I need to tell everyone who wants 5 star hotel, do not book this one! I would post some pictures if it's allowed me on this site. And I am going to complain to Agoda .

    “Below average”

    The location was good, we booked a room with a balcony jacuzzi and a garden view, the "view" is pretty poor since the trees have grown an just about blocked any view you may have. The maintenance of the woodwork on the balcony is shoddy and the piant work is a rough job. The balcony and jacuzzi look nothing like the picture on the booking web site. It was that picture that sold me on this hotel. I feel coned

    “not a 5 star hotel”

    Overall installations and service is far away from what you would expect from a 5 star hotel. Loction is good, close to sea, shops and nightlife, but nevertheless quiet. Breakfast with good choices and good coffee. Very limited seats around the pool with umbrella. So if you are late, no chance to get a shady place. Matress pads at the pool completely weared out. C

    “ Cockroaches in room”

    This Hotel is a rip off run down hotel now worth 1/10 of what I paid I checked out after one night avoid this hotel at all costs !!

    “Looked rundown but rooms are comfortable enough ”

    Sea-facing spacious suite room

    Our first impression of the hotel upon arriving is it does not quite look like the photos on the website...looked a bit rundown but was relieved when we saw our sea-facing suite room.Its spacious and comfortable enough.The hotel is right infront of patong beach so so convenient for beach lovers.It has a nice and big infinity pool.A bit of a walk to Bangla street where all the nightlife is.It is near a hidden gem which is No.9 Thai restaurant round the right hand side corner which serves good thai food but skip the western fares.

    “B-Lay Tong”

    It was peaceful, at the other end of town you here constant traffic noice. The pooll side rooms are lovely. The staff are generally lovely

    We wore a couple of single guys staying, and met girls in bars. If you gring a girl back to B-lay Tong even for a drink by the pool, security want to march you to reception with your date, demand ID from her, and 1500 Bart from you for having a guest. There approach is over the top, embarrasing and makes your guest very uncomfortable. With what you pay for a room they should advise you of the dangers and then mind there own business. I would not stay here again.
