“リラクゼーションリゾート”
賑やかなアオナンビーチとはひと味違う、しっとり落ち着いたクロンムアンビーチを見渡す最高のロケーションでした。空気も澄んでいて、毎日花と緑と朝露がアロマで癒してくれました。朝食も非常に美味しく、体も心もリフレッシュして元気になります。プールでのアクティビティやビーチでの散歩、ビーチクラブでの食事も楽しかったです。カップルマッサージは大変快適で、リラックス出来ました。フレンドリーで親切なスタッフの皆さんにも感謝しています。

“Service is not meeting the standard”
The sound proof is bad, staff open the door before check out, breakfast has limited selection and doesn’t taste good. Far from other eateries and place to hangout. Waited 1 hour to check in because they asked me to change the guest name to be the same as my passport, I was waiting in the lobby and figure out v Agoda. “不会再来！”
“不会再来了” 我在一堆酒店中选择了varana，想要度过一个愉快放松的假期，本来充满期待，结果非常失望。首先是服务很差劲，除了第一天前台中午和晚上的工作人员能感受到热情之外，第二天早上的前台以及其他员工态度都很不友好，从来不会主动打招呼，看着你就走开。房间纸巾用完了也不会补充，最离谱的是有天回房间看着电梯门开着里面有位员工，对视之后我还笑着感谢他以为他会帮我留门，结果他走到我看不见的侧面快速关了门，让我们在楼下等了很久电梯。这是我在全球任何国家的任何酒店都没有遇到过的事情。由于喜欢他们的洗漱包，花钱买了一个，等了很久拿来一个有明显使用痕迹，很脏、底部不平整的洗漱包，由于赶飞机没有时间只能算了。 再说设施，推荐的泰国独一家naam其实就是成都何日君、北方大澡堂，甚至比中国洗浴中心差远了，纯自助，就在不同冷热水池里泡，大理石上躺着，噱头十足啥也没有，还会有工作人员跟你讲只剩15分钟了。另外一个onsen就更差了，依然是几个小泡池就啥也没了。沙滩吧可以自己搬个豆袋自己铺个浴巾自己躺下。是的，又是自助。唯一出彩的就是那个奥林匹克泳池确实很舒服，喜欢游泳的朋友可以一试。总之，就是一家除了前台和楼下礼宾台以及泳池还不错以外，毫无服务、毫无体验感、设施普通金玉其外 败絮其中的酒店。当不起度假二字。泰国去过很多地方，这是第一次去甲米，第一次感受这么糟糕的酒店，不会再去，也不推荐。

“Almost 5-star but not yet”
The hotel location is not adjacent to the beach. The welcome drinks tasted terrible. As for the large area of the hotel, the internal tuk-tuk is required but you need to call and wait for a couple of minutes. Unfortunately, the phone call was broken so I had been forced to use my personal phone to ask for services and helps. Moreover, the breakfast was terrible. No chilled orange juice and non-standard portion of omelette were served. Ways to improved. Not yet a 5-star.

“Amazing Wellcation - Responsible tourism”
This property was amazing. My only only only 4 stars was my disappointment that it wasn’t actually beachfront, BUT you soon forget all of that with the pools, wellness programs and wonderful food. I will return with my goggles and workout gear. I would also suggest being able to access the sauna and steam room facilities at the spa as part of wellness. I get charges for some things, but it would be great if that were included. The staff was just stellar. Love all the sustainability efforts by this hotel! Great reminder for responsible tourism.

“Great quiet getaway place for healthy life style peeps”
This is my 2nd time stay with Varana and I have to say they further upgraded themselves from my last visit last year. They have expanded workout place and changed breakfast location to sea view which i liked better.. They have various activities for the hotel guests including yoga, paddling, half day island hopping tour, spa and we did spa and island tour. We paid 2000bhat per pax for 60m massage and 3000 bhat for 2pax for half day island tour and found it quite worth the money. Ask for boat number 5 if you can! Captain's name was Seek and he was so friendly and kind throughout the tour. I'd recommend the place for family, young couples who are looking for value for money 3-5days holiday!

Overall my experience there was really good. Being a physically active person, this place offers so much. From a proper pool for laps to a well equipped gym. It really is a great getaway. It is not as busy as other spots which was great. Really laid back and quiet. Lastly, the service was amazing. I've had my fair share of bias treatment but the team there was very welcoming and helpful.

まだ出来たばかりのホテルなので全てが綺麗で清潔感に溢れていました。ここがタイであるということを忘れるレベルです。 通常高いと思われがちなホテル内のレストランやカフェもコスパがよく、ホテルの中で1日過ごしても全く飽きないステイでした。 スタッフはとてもフレンドリーですが、英語がきちんと伝わらなかったり、サービスの提供に時間がかかるのはタイだから仕方ないかなと思います。 急なlate outのリクエストにも対応してくださったり、ツアー後に閉店間際にカフェに駆け込んだら、お部屋で食べれるように取り計らってくださったり、サービスは心地よいものでした。 クラビタウンなどからは離れますが、ホテル周辺で1日200バーツほどでバイクのレンタルも出来るので、長期ステイがおすすめです。 別で予約した離島ツアーのお迎えもホテルまで来てもらえたので、何の問題もありませんでした。 クラビ空港からはGrabで40分ほどかかりますので、空港への移動は時間に余裕を持つことをお勧めします。 リピートしたいホテルになりました。

“Loved our stay in Varana Krabi Hotel”
We picked Varana for our couple's retreat—and it was absolutely perfect. If you're looking to truly relax and recharge, this place has it all. The hotel facilities are top-notch, and honestly, you won’t feel the need to step out… unless you're heading out for massages or local food at half the price. But to be fair, the hotel food was surprisingly incredible—we actually loved dining in, which is rare for us. Highly recommend Varana for couples craving rest, reconnection, and a little luxury.

“The epitome of what a great hotel should be”
From the moment we arrived we felt welcome, the hotel is fairly new and kept in a great shape, the view of Hong island is stunning. Very ecological and they produce and make a lot of the things that are served in the restaurants. The room was amazing. The people well trained. Happy hour great. Not a single complain.

We had a great welcome. The hotel staff are friendly & helpful, the resort is really well designed & has great facilities. We are a family with small children, it would be great if there was a bit more to do with the children. The food so far has been fab & the access to the beach club is a great addition to a hillside resort.

Best swimming pool facilities. Restaurant Nook has great food. Staff is friendly and helpful. Room is spacious and clean. Would highly recommend!

“Nice and relaxing”
Very relaxing place. Comfortable mattress and good for couples. Restaurant and spa facilities are expensive. The sunset view was amazing and the beach club was very nice.

“Great hotel for a restful holiday!”
Zen & spa like. Breakfast spread is not huge but extremely healthy & wholesome. Great when u r prioritising wellness. Spa was awesome & love the Olympic size pool. Beach club is located just opposite the main hotel across the street thus providing a quiet respite for guests who want a restful night. There is a mosque nearby where morning & evening prayers could be heard but I slept like a log through it all! Just let your hair down, chill & all will be good! Will return again.

“Almost all amenities not included in hotel’s price”
- You need to pay more for almost all the amenities (sauna, yoga, workout classes). Never have I stayed at a hotel where you need to do this - it’s normally included in the stay’s price. - The beach nearby is average and kind of dirty, unlike advertised in the photos. - No transportation in the morning when I want to go to morning activities around 7-8am.

“Absolutely incredible”
100% worth every penny. The staff are amazing, The is luxurious , The best I have ever bin to .. The food is divine and all organic, The veiw from the jacuzzi ocean veiw room is breath taking, The room is beutifal , The TV and speaker are top range , I can not fault the hotel or the service in anyway. I am 1000% staying here again .. who ever come up with the concept or this hotel has done an amazing job 👏 well done...

“Nice but pricey”
We had a pleasant stay, the staff is amazing, and the facilities are really good. The breakfast is amazing! The prices of all the extra options or food and beverages however were quite ridiculous for Thailand. I mean, as soon as you pass the street to the beach (and then you are sitting on a beautiful beach) you have a cocktail or a beer for 100 baht. Varana (and their beach club) charges 320 baht for a cocktail (=€10). I mean, of course you pay more in a 5-star hotel, but we found the price difference at Varana with the outside world too much. This results in empty restaurants and bar. The food and cocktails we did buy were good though, but not worth the price.

“Beautiful Spot”
Nice resort, lots of amenities. This place feels boutique, while still being largish. Breakfast is good, on site restaurant and beach club are lovely as well. The pool just below us was never packed, and our room was nice. Rooms aren’t huge, but big enough with a nice bathroom, and a balcony! Tip: just outside the resort on the Main Street, are massage places that are great and very reasonable. It’s 3 times more expensive in the resort. There’s a 711 about 200 yards to the right. And eat some meals at the local restaurants, way more reasonably priced and authentic.

“Not Great, specifically if you are travelling with young kids”
While our rooms got upgraded. Thanks to Varana for that, but overall service was very poor, service needs major improvements. 1. It started just at check in. Havent heard of a check in staff telling specifically during check-in that “Vanity kit is not to be taken away”. This was rude and disrespectful. Have stayed at multiple awesome properties but this was a first. 2. The Reception is approximately 30 stairs after drop off from your taxi. If you are coming from outside and have to take a buggy to head straight to the room, you have to first take those dreadful 30 stairs and then request someone to drop off to your rooms. While the buggy’s were just where we were dropped. I was carrying my 2 year old and It is so illogical to take those stairs everytime to request a drop off. It could just have been so easier if there was someone to assist at the drop off. 3. We requested a buggy pick up from room to go to one of the pools and we were told - This place is just 5-7 mins walk. I mean really!! 4. No towels at swimming pools was another first. 5. Check out was slow, had to call 2-3 times to get our luggage picked up. 6. Multiple instance where buggy wasn’t sent despite calling the reception 2-3 times. 7. Some staffs were either ignorant or didn't care, request went unheard - simple ones like request for water. 8. Major issue with Staff understanding basic english. Wanted the omelette to be well done and fully cooked. Same with Boiled egg. It took them 3 times to get it done right. Humungous waste of food. Overall, did not enjoy our stay. Small things could have made the difference. Not as exception as its been mentioned in the reviews.

“Fantastic”
The reviews do not do this place justice!! I was shocked. This hotel is a wellness paradise, from the location to the staff to the amenities (the spa, outdoor fitness classes and activities, and gym and wellness center are a dream and there is an Olympic sized swimming pool!) to the food (it is straight from their farms to your plate!). The grounds are beautiful and the furnishings are perfectly thought out (they are what you would have in your home) in that they are recycled/renewable materials and reflect local culture. Staff were extremely helpful and nice. Also, the neighborhood is quiet and serene compared to other busy beach areas. The beach itself is low traffic and peaceful, so as swimmers, this was perfect for us. The beach club restaurant facing the beach offers nice music a nice vibe and great food. Will be back for sure.

“Great hotel - especially for fitness couples”
- Fantastic, quiet- lux rooms - Amazing staff - So many free fitness classes (although we did not do any) - Food and cocktails are amazing at the main restaurant (honestly better than many other spots around and cheap during HH) - Pools are wonderful, but not heated - Solid WiFi - Annoying that the beach club won’t let you sit at a table without a large minimum, even as a hotel guest - Great stay, albeit a bit on the pricier side… especially if you don’t take advantage of all of the fitness stuff - A bit far from Ao Nang and Krabi Town if you want to go hit up bars and other restaurants

“Cool Hotel with Fantastic Facilities ”
Absolutely stunning hotel in a great location. Excellent facilities, with 4 pools (including an adult only Olympic sized swimming pool);l and access to the uber cool beach club opposite. Highly recommend staying here and would love to return.
