We stayed 4 nights on 4th - 8 th December 2024, Hotel upgrades room and Big Surprise for Happy Honeymoon cheers champagne and celebrations and 2 night we ordered Long Taley about special menu for couples food testing good and very big and cheap and breakfast many choices and beautiful 🙏🏻 thank you so much for everything and Thanks manager and teams

“Great hotel”

Rooms are nice. We had a problem with hot water and electrical out let’s not working…. They came right away to fix water and gave us an adaptor for outlets. lol 😂 didn’t need adaptor because sockets didn’t work. But they tried. All staff were amazing 🤩 and very kind! This hotel has many many many stairs! That’s the only bad thing about this hotel. But they do have a shuttle that can kind of run you around the grounds. Beds were comfy and not hard. Breakfasts were good. Would stay again

“Loved the beach”

Had a great 5 day /4 night stay here. The beach is really beautiful and we had a great time. Wonderful welcome and lovely breakfast staff. Breakfast was good with enough variety. I found the gardens very special. It’s an older hotel so the rooms need updating but after a few days the place really grew on me and I had a relaxing time and enjoyed myself.

Hotel is located on the Chaweng Noi beach and up to the hill. It has a huge territory with garden. Several restaurants and bars, 2 pools and kids zone, fitness centre. But… A lot of stairs and not modern rooms.

The location is excellent, good access to the private beach. The breakfast was very good and the chef also customized our request. Relaxing and fun stay at the resort.

“Beach far off, rude staff”

You would definitely expect a far more when you check into Sheraton. Their rooms are scattered over three different building blocks which can severely affect when you are traveling in group. The rooms access does not feel like a hotel but like a low end apartment blocks. Rooms are fine but breach is too far off although beautiful. The staff at breakfast is extremely rude and they won’t even serve you water at the table, the first I have ever experienced in a breakfast.

“Is it really Sheraton hotel?”

We stayed there for more than week. Been welcomed by polite,smiling and helpful receptionists and other members of staff. The hotel is located on slightly steep hill, surrounded by lovely garden. Pluses: *Lovely staff **Good selection of meals,fruits and drinks for breafast ***Beautiful long clean beach,including private one with sunbeds provided ****Upper hill good-sized swimming pool *****Few local restaurants and shops at the main road. Minuses: °price to hotel standard ratio. You will definitely not receive luxury of 5 star hotel,so it's pretty much overpriced °°conditions of rooms and bathrooms. Smelly and outdated. °°°Beach swimming pool like untouched from the 90s °°°°A lot of steps coming across a walking path. Unmarked concrete elevations and curbs caused my toe injury. Be careful-when you walk there, always look at your feet. Summary: Place could be a spotless top-star hotel. It has really got potential and lovely people working there. Is it still Sharaton quality one could expect? I don't think so. But I would return, if prices would start to reflect current hotel's standard. “A Lovely Resort in Koh Samui”

Our stay at Sheraton Koh Samui are what dreams are made of. The superb hospitality of the staff made our 42nd wedding anniversary, very special & memorable. The property is perched on a hill that slopes gently towards the sea. Guest rooms overlook the ocean. The reception is of an open lobby plan with AC lobby bar, The Scoop, at the far end. The lush gardens, meandering pathways and a private beach, all render the property at relaxing retreat. All facilities are immaculately well maintained. The sea is perfect for bathing & relaxing at the beach or the pool. The beach pool has rough rocks that can graze the knees, if not careful. The property has several watering holes, two overlooking the ocean, namely the Blue Monkey and Long Talay and the air-conditioned lobby bar, the Scoop. The Long Talay offers delectable Thai & other cuisines & a range of cocktails. Spent 5N at Sheraton and enjoyed their hospitality. The staff are ever helpful & always greeting with a big smiling “Sawadee”. We feel that this property of The Marriot group, though dated, is best, in terms of services & hospitality. Their buffet breakfast spread is awesome. The staff at this hotel are the factor which makes it worth visiting. Nothing is too much of a trouble and they seem genuinely happy to help. There is a complimentary shuttle bus to the nearby shopping center which leaves at regular times in the day. Overall, I and my wife loved the place, the hospitality, the ambiance and would love to revisit.

“Pool/Food/Stairs”

The pool bottom, due to the harsh sand from the beach, was constantly covered with grains which hurt yo walk on. We loved the food and meal service. Not a lift in sight. Older visitors, such as ourselves, found it difficult to walk up and down the site. The view from our room was great. Pity it rained 4 of the 7 days we stayed. Won’t go in November again.

“Great place to get away.”

Amazing beach and facilities. Excellent staff. Hillside location means things are dispersed--its a hike to breakfast and the front desk or a walk down to the beach area. I needed private time so room service and the relatively few other guests was ok for me but there are more central locations with more happening spots closer to Fisherman's village or Chaweng Beach if thats your interest. They had a kids club area that looks great just not the high season for that. Staff awesome. Compare costs though to location on the island. On the hill about 2kms south of Chaweng beach between Chaweng Beach and Lamai. The lsland is amazing and the cost of food and excursions is extremely reasonable. Book directly with the hotel chains though to get more negotiating room if you want something to change on arrival.

“Lots of stairs”

Please remember there are A LOT of stairs! I took 136 stairs up to get to our room from pool. Its great if you want to walk off delish breakfast buffet, but not very young kids friendly ( deffo not stroller friendly). The breakfast was great but not really kids friendly ( which is a bit surprising because the kids club is great). Its just that staff could be more trained in terms of bringing baby chair, plastic plates and be a bit more understanding of noise kids make:). Otherwise the beach is as good as it gets!

I particularly wish to congratulate Management on choosing their staff and the training of their staff. We have visited Koh Samui quite a few times in recent years and the service from the Sheraton staff is undoubtedly the best. From the office staff, the club car drivers, housekeeping staff and particularly the hospitality staff. We have never felt “so looked after and cared for” anywhere else. The breakfast was excellent as was dinner. Room Service was delivered “almost instantly. “ No long waiting times for either laundry to be picked up from the room or food being delivered hot to the room. I cannot praise the staff enough- amazing!

“I love Sheraton Samui”

This is my First time here at Sheraton Samui. I'm gone in Covid-19 pandemic and hotel less people stay. The pool was very nice and very beautiful design. Service was brilliant. Staffs were super friendly and welcoming! We loveed our stay and would definitely come back.

“Comfortable but expensive for what it delivers”

Comfortable rooms, really nice smelling bathroom toiletries. Location is ok, not much of a beach and a 10+ minute drive to Central Festival mall which is a nice place to spend half a day (recommend going on the late afternoon to visit the night market when it is open). Another 5+ minutes to Chaweng beach where there's more food, massage, shopping options and nicer beach. But let down by things you'd expect Sheraton to do better. Shuttle to Central Festival is 70 baht per way, not expensive but easily could be given free to guests, at least one two-way trip per 3-night stay? The beach directly in front of the pool and Blue Monkey is strewn with debris including broken glass. Even if it's not their beach, did some CSR, plus keep guests safe since you have stairs leading to the beach. Cheap Nescafe Red coffee sachets in room. One pack was hardened instead of granules. Super thin disposable bedroom slippers that wore out by day 3 but to reduce waste we didn't ask for replacements.

“Couple of issues we faced”

Had issues with air-conditioning in the room; Maintenance folks came and did something and said, wait for 10 minutes and it will be good...and 1/2 hour later still not fixed. Had to repeat this call/fix/wait 3-4 times to finally get things fixed. Was a bit annoying. Also, had issue toilet clog.

“Many roaches... pool cut the feet, far from Chewang city and beach with rocks”

Not happy at all, not sure how or why it was rated as 5 stars. roaches are running around, pool that suppose to be for kids is made of very rough material, many wounds to the feet, the private beach is with rocks at the front, and the location - we had to take a ride every time we wanted to go anywhere. not convenient, not clean, not recommended

“Overall good experience ”

The food and service are 5 stars but not the hotel rooms and equipments. The pool and the beach is fantastic. The food amazing. The service perfect. The room is nice but still I don't understand why there is no shower head in the bathtub and there is no toilet hose. The worst is the air condition noise very very loud. If you can't sleep with noise avoid this hotel.

“Not that worth for 5 star”

- We had to wait for almost 30 minutes for checking in after arrived. There were many clients is acceptable, but there was no any good queue arrangement from front staff at all; a lot of people came and jumped the queue and the staff still kept giving the services even we were standing in front of them. -Not enough, there were a lot of insects which was like mayfly passed under the door through the room that made us have to turn off the light for stopping this craziest. -.-.- 5 star experience wan like 2 star -.-.- - The room is normal, not so worth to pay for it - The beach and facility were amazing!!

hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, facilities are GOOD. Location is at Chaweng beach, by scooter or hotel shuttle is not far away from Central Festival Shopping Mall. This hotel has two pools, one is near the beach, hotel bar and restaurant. It's very nice to chill there. The Glow Spa inside hotel is recommended. Outside on the street are so many restaurants, but mostly are offering the same food. For more options, can go to Central Festival and Chaweng Road. If you want to rent a scooter, YUI's Rental is recommended, just across the street.

“Nothing special, poor resort for Spg Sheraton”

Old poor renovated resort with expensive rooms, loudy air conditioners, no moscito s net in room, no responsuve staff, with avarge brakfast, poor selection of fruit(no mango, it is too expensive staff said to me).... Wi fi only in restaurants, any where else very poor wi fi. I complain, exept smiling in my face, no response in 6 days. Very, very poor for This price and Sheraton, but very profitable fir owners...

“Beach front Hotel”

My request in my booking to get a connecting room never was finalized. The sea view wasn't good it's more view to restaurant roof. Food tasting a bit disappointed. However the hotel have a nice beach front. Good tennis court and fitness.

“exceptional beach property.”

sheraton samui is too expansive property for what it actually offers. no free pick up from airport , no free drop to shopping areas ( in short they wanna charge u as much as they can). the car parking in the hotel is extremely small and it could be difficult to find a car park in season. spa is extremely expansive and it should be more reasonable for inhouse guest. no attendants tennis court. no life guard at pools.

The hotel is really nice could do with an update on certain areas but nothing major the staff where 5 Star and made our trip very good the location is great and the beach front is brilliant!

nice beach, location also good, not far from Chaweng, although limited F&B choice and the food was ok. Went there during national holiday, so the price is quite high; would recommend the hotel in general

Location is at the south end of Chaweng beach, the sea is blue and clear, the sand is quite ok for children though not a big beach. There are 7-11 and Familymarts nearby, quite convenient. Not far from Central Festival (Shopping Center), around 5km. Quite many choices of breakfast, and the Lunch Restaurant is recommended, especially for Pizza and Papaya Salad, and Fried Chips in Kid menu. The service is ok, air conditioner is very much noisy and impacts sleep. Swimming pool is great but the size is small thinking of the guest crowd. Watch out Jellyfish in the sea!

Resort was amazing. Staffs were excellent. View and location simply breathtaking. I would definitely go again or recommend to someone but I just feel the management should take little things to heart like making the guests feel welcomed and special...value for money

Overall short and good stay at the hotel. It is not the newest but has been well maintained and clean. the beach is so lovely with its clean soft sand, and clear and calm waters. The spa offered good deals and provided wonderful massage services. The breakfast had generous options and was satisfying. The short distance to the airport made it convenient.
