“Overall OK except ”
Pros: -Clean and spacious rooms. -7-11 just opposite our hotel. - beach is just opposite - Friendly staffs - Comfy beds and pillows. Cons: - noisy as doors and walls are thin. Can hear people talking very loudly along the walkway and from other rooms. - There's a sharp nail stucked on the bed. Very dangerous as I hurt myself. Forgotten to inform the staff. - Room at the highest floor. Need to climb all the way up to the 3rd floor after a long day.

“Good quality hotel”
Great people working there👌 Hotel is clean and everything works. Shower got warm and cold water instant. Don't have to wait 1 minute for hot water and spend rest of the day to adjust it. Good placement for hotel, beach close by. I think great value for money.

“Felt like home”
We had a really great stay @ City Dance. Initially, we only booked 1 night but then extended our stay as the service we received was exceptional. The staff were friendly and polite and always greeting and smiling with always someone to assist, 24/7 who went over and above and who made us feel welcomed & at home. The room was surprisingly large, comfortable and clean. The location was perfect, about 3 min walk to the beach & many shops & restaurants. Definitely would recommend City Dance for your stay.

“Great value for money”
The beach is a very short distance away and you can find any number of places to hang on the beach for a cocktail or lunch. The area isn’t great and restaurants are aplenty. I’d you want the crazy nightclubs they are just down the road but far enough away that if you don’t you don’t have to hear them all night long.

“Decent hotel in Chaweng”
This is the second time I’ve stayed at this hotel. The first time was about two years ago. This hotel no longer feels new as on would expect. My room was looking onto the main road and the noise from this was fairly bad. I also had a lot of mosquito bites when staying in this room- more than anywhere else I have stayed in the six times I have been to Thailand. The best thing about this hotel are the staff. They are extremely helpful and are some of the best I have encountered.

“Great value for money”
Staff were really welcoming and the rooms were so impressive considering the price we paid! With complimentary hot drinks & water and umbrellas in the room (which was handy as it rained). You also get 25% the food in their restaurant which is really good. Close to all the bars, restaurants and right across from the beach but far enough up the road to not be overly noisy. Only downside is that it doesn’t have a swimming pool but great value for money!

“Everything is great! ”
Pro: - Great location. - Super friendly male staff that helped me to carry my super heavy luggage (almost 25kg) to the room when I arrived and down the stairs when I checked out. - 10 minutes walk to the busy centre of Samui. Considered as near, I guess. Cons: - No hairdryer in some room. - The toilet looks a bit dodgy (especially the taps, all rusty)

“Very clean and modern”
Very nice staff. Clean and modern large room with kettle, tea, coffee and water. Good location. We didn't hear any noise the first two nights but a bit of music the last night so it was overall quiet!

“Well located, well maintained small hotel with friendly staff”
This hotel is located on the main road of Chaweng, just a short walk to the beach. It's a small affordable hotel which has been well maintained and is clean. Staff are friendly. Great for a solo traveller or a couple on a budget. There's a restaurant/cafe on the ground floor but the prices are less competitive than nearby venues so I didn't see many people dining there. Guests do receive a 10% discount there (except for breakfast).

“非常に満足”
The staff is excellent, the only one thing- English is a must for everyone in hospitality. Housekeeping came to clean the room on a 3rd day, but did their best. Overally - outr stay was really nice.

“Full Moon on your doorstep”
Nice place with great location, situated in the middle of Haad Rin but away from the beach. Only a 2 minute walk to madness on the beach but far enough away that you can hear anything from your room. We had 4 nights here total before, during and after full moon and we enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is located near everything and close to the beach. It's fairly basic accommodation with no extra facilities like a balcony or terrace area. We also had lots of little ants in our room. The bathroom could benefit from an extractor fan as the whole room became humid and damp after using the shower, and the air con was pretty useless. We did eat at the restaurant when we arrived and the food was nice. For the price we paid it was ok (£30 a night, no breakfast included), but I'm not sure I would return.

“Poy is the frendliest owner we ever met. Morningstar is most helpful staf member. ”
Loved every thing about this hotel not to far from anything staf was absolutely helpful and the frendliest.i would liked a lift in the hotel for the luggage :) not for me, and a small splash pool on the roof wood be awesome. In all honesty we love the staff and the owner unfortunately our time did not alow us to spend more time with Jim but Wil in our next time

“City Dance is the best!”
We loved staying at the City Dance Hotel and would happily return. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is delicious, too! The hotel is within convenient range of the beach, 7/11 and within walking distance to Central shopping area.

“Cozy, spacious, nomice decour”
Booked a superior double. Big room, nice bathroom and comfy bed. Near the hustle and bustle but not noisy at all. Chaweng main beach is at 25 minutes' walk, but that's very pleasant if you go by the beach.

“Amazing staff, value,location, hard bed but thats nothing new in thailand ”
The staff here is just LOVABLE they go out of their way to help. I actually hugged them goodbye. No elevator but staff helped with my very heavy luggage. The room was nice and clean, great working a/c, moderen bathrooom, and spacious. The bed is placed on the floor and its not comfy but most beds are not comfy in thailand.

“Great little find”
This place is a little hidden gem, away from the the loudness of chaweng nightlife but only a five minute walk if that into the thick of it. Looks to be newly refurbished and the staff are so friendly. The only thing that could make it better is a pool, but the sea is only 30 seconds away!

“Everything was almost perfect!”
This hotel is a really great value for money. The location is perfect. You can walk to the Central Festival which takes 10 mins. 5 mins walk to the beach. It's close to all the bars in Chaweng but far enough not to hear all the noises. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is okay nothing special. It was almost perfect but the walls are so thin you can hear everything from outside if someone walking or talking or whatever. I woke up from the noises every day. And the toilet was smelly. I did not know why. Besides that these two drawbacks, everything was great! Definitely going back!

“Pretty place very close to the beach”
City Dance Hotel looks great. The room was very nice and the hotel itself was also very pretty. The staff was nice and helpful. The hotel is very close to the beach and main, the busiest part of the city. Still - it's far enough to be quiet in the night. The 7 eleven is just opposite.

“Absolutely amazing value for money!!!!”
This place is amazing for the price. The rooms are large. Modern. Airconditioned and CLEAN. The location is in walking distance to the Ark bar region and on the main road but far for noise not to be a problem. Beach is 200m away. Staff are great. I will be staying here again. Cant recommend it enough.

“Amazing place for my holidays”
It was a fantastic experience in my life. Though I wasn't lucky with the weather (was rainy) I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. Extremely friendly staff, who provide the highest quality of service. The guys do everything to make you feel like home. Perfect English, always smiling and caring about you. I had a very clean and renovated room with everything you need for an amazing holiday. I really enjoyed quiet aircon working (usually they are very noisy in Thailand lol). My room was cleaned and my bed linen was changed every day. I liked breakfasts, they are very good for this price. Location is perfect, in the heart of Chaweng. Everything is at arm's length: restaurants, shopping malls, markets, massage parlors. If I return to Samui someday I would stay at the City Dance again. And recommend this amazing place to all my friends.

“better than advertised ”
this hotel is excellent. the rooms are big, the location is spot on and the staff are all helpful. downside is the wifi is very temperamental and switches on and off all the time but other than that the hotel is perfect. definitely recommend staying here

“Every time again 👍”
The hotel is centrally located but I still can not hear at night and you can sleep peacefully. The boss and the staff are super friendly always helpful and attentive 👍 the rooms are very clean and in a top condition. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would always book a room there again.

Room is clean except sometimes bad smell come out from bathroom. Air-condition is super cold. 5 minutes walk to beach, 20 minutes walk to Central Festival Mall. Staff very friendly.

“Excellent value for the price”
Staff, location, valueThe room was nothing special, far from it, but for the time of year and location I think it was excellent value. The staff was also surprisingly friendly for this type of establishment. I visited several hotels, and I assure you this is not always the case so congratulations and thanks to them! That being said, the room was fine and the bed was comfortable (I think I was upgraded based on their Website pictures, but no one ever confirmed this). Sadly, despite requesting a room in quite location, it remained very noisy due to drunks coming in at all hours of the night and making a LOT of noise so be aware of this if you decide to stay here. Besides a fridge, the room contained basically nothing at all. No Kettle, coffee, or any such extravagance. It is basically a no-frills hotel. The room was not dirty, but there is no serious undergoing cleaning effort happening either and your room will not be cleaned unless you put out a sign (which is something I do not mind at all personally). A fresh coat of paint and a painting or two and this hotel could actually look very fashionable, but it appears that this isn't their primary purpose. Then again, the price was pretty good for what you get and for the location, so I certainly can't complain. Overall, the staff made all the difference!

“was just ok”
location location locationI've been living in Thailand on and off for almost 10 years, so I understand how little things can be frustrating to a newcomer, for me I just accept them and make do. How could this hotel improve itself? 4 days not once was my room cleaned, nor my towels or water resupplied,the communication with the owner and his Thai staff at breakfast was again below the usual standard, the breakfast sausage was the horrible. So little things like that may seem alot to some travelers for me I just accept and not go back. Plenty of other places in Chaweng with a pool for around the same price.

“Hotel was clean room was nice ”
There was nothing best except cleaness staff was not helpfulHotel was clean and room was nice but i loose some money from my room even there was cctv cameras i complain to the manager and ask to show me the recording but they said they have no recording system in the hotel how it could be possible then what the use of cctv cameras

“Very nice hotel”
Nice location, Nice clean room, Nice and friendly staff.I had a very nice time here. Quiet area. About 8 min walk to party area/Ark bar.

“Exceptional ”
Amazing staff, very helpful. Huge breakfast and very good (eggs, bacon, cereals, yogurt, croissant, bread) Very clean room and a lot of space Good location 5min walking from the centre Beach front of the hotel Lots restaurants around Good value for money Go to this place it’s great !! :)
