Location is great. While only a brief walk from the train station the home stay feels quite rural. Bird song and very little traffic noise. The facilities are intentionally rustic in theme, but new and very clean.

“Hidden gem”
We stayed one night as we wanted to be near the train station for an early train. Host was so friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. Such a quaint little guest house with everything you need. Would stay again.

Beautiful little shaded garden to sit and enjoy the peaceful place. Room was comfortable with en suite, fridge and air con. A lovely stay and I’d highly recommend.

P'Nung is very helpful and friendly. His property is near the train station and njght market about 5min walk. There's nearby food stalls that can serve your food cravings. Recommendable property when visitinc kanchanaburi.

“Nice and clean hotel. ”
The place was very clean and spacious with a big bathroom. It was well maintained and close to the train station. The only downside was the chickens in the morning. I would recommend it.

If you want to have unforgettable experience in a simple local thai house, that’s the place for you. - Great value for money - Friendly staff - Good location - Nice breakfast (Not many options but it tastes good) Disadvantage: - No safe box in the room - Air conditioner is weak for room size so it takes time to feel the effect

“Comfort and convenience ”
Our stay at Siam Guesthouse was everything we hoped. It was only a few minutes walk from the station , night market and death railway museum in one direction and few minutes to the river in the other. The owner was super friendly and helpful, letting us check in 2 hours early and giving us plenty of local info. There was a western style breakfast each morning and there was also a Thai alternative on one of the days. Very peaceful and quiet sitting in the little garden. Perfect. Should we ever visit Kanchanaburi again we would stay there once more.

“A real Siam house”
This is a real Siam house at old style, have a very good experience. All furniture make by beautiful wood, lovely little garden to have breakfast or rest. Room is clean, lovely and big, also comfortable big bed. Water heater is work very well, come on Dec with 25C weather, have a hot shower is very comfortable and relax matter. Owner is a very kind and helpful person. Hope to come again.

“Perfect stay for short or longer visit”
The guesthouse is very close to the station and so clean and quite - you can sleep very well in this guesthouse. Onlust 0.250 meter from mainstreet. Siam is the best host wind breakfast is simple but good, what you see is what you get! Siam is very available for his Guest and has the richt contact to arrange a scooter in Max 1 hour, orherwise you can het a bike from Siams Guesthouse. We would highly recommand this accomodation. “Good option”
Well managed hotel. Very nice, small property. Staff is there for all your needs. There is some noise in the mornings with birds mainly and some music into the evenings, but nothing too bad. I enjoyed my stay and felt at home.

“Clean and quiet”
A small hotel but it's very clean. Staffs are very nice and not hard selling. It is located behind the main street so it keeps much more quiet and just walking distance to many tasty restaurant nearby. I went there by train and it only takes 6 mins walk from the train station. No need to take any taxi if not too much luggage. Will stay again when I came to Karchanaburi.

“Great guesthouse, nice family!”
Came to siam guesthouse with wife and baby daugther of 1 year old, we felt very welcome there! The host is very helpful and can speak good english. The family all together was very nice and warm! The location of the guesthouse was perfect, we were able to cycle to the bridge over the river kwai (bike rental was 100BHT). The host also arranged a good price for a cab towards the waterfalls (huay mai). Thanks for the great stay!

“Good value, nice staff”
The courtyard atmosphere is very pleasant. The room is very basic but adequate, with good air conditioning that is fairly quiet. The staff person who checked me in and helped me with a couple of things during my stay was an exceptional young man and extremely attentive to anything I needed. Breakfast was just average. All in all a good value.

“Overall ok, experience.”
It is Hard to evaluate this. We stayed 2 nights and later came Back to one more. First 2 nights were great. The Last night was horrible. We got one of the room which is connected to neighbouring one with the door, so you hear everything there. And you do not want to listen to drunk Brit trying to f*** some prostitutek ať 2AM.

Honestly Ive stayed at many 4 starts that was not nearly as nice as this 2 star place. Clean, cozy, atmosphere and amazing staff. Will be back

“Quiet and comfortable ”
Good value for money, pleasant staff, close to the railway station and 2k from the bus station. Quiet location and nice surroundings. Comfortable room with good air-conditioning.
