“Good n Quiet place”

Everything is great such as room, facilities and staff. However the breakfast is very limited items and came with set. No buffet breakfast.

We had a great time staying here. The resort has got a nice private beach which gives you good relaxation while you are here. If you are looking for a nice break with quiet time then this is the right place to stay. We definitely come back here on our next visit to Thailand.

Poor management, simple things such as utensils are not provided, pathetic small fridge which hardly keep things cool. Very old and simple room set up as those guest houses. Poor location, u need to drive to everywhere. Garden siting area does not even has a power socket and is full of mosquitoes. Request to borrow a barbeque equipment and was told to pay 500 baht for it. My first ever bad review in agoda after visiting so many resorts hotels and guest house. Strongly not recommend, spoilt our mood as we are in a group. Owner need to learn from others on how to treat their guests.

“非常に満足”

This hotel was well presented and the rooms clean and serviced daily, nice clean pool area, all staff friendly and helpful. There is very little to do near the hotel although there is a very good restaurant with in 50m. Your own transport is essential, if you like cycling the area is mostly flat and a lot of cycle lanes. The only downside is the beach is not maintained, hence full of rubbish and the water to dirty to swim/play in.

The location is good (for me). It's close to the sea. You can sleep and listen the wave hits the beach. It's very far from city so it's very quiet. Room was OK, clean and new. WIFI was fast, still able to watch youtube in HD solution.

“We made a right choice to stay at this resort. Initially we planned to spend 2 nights but my family wanted to extend 2 more stays to enjoy the peaceful beach.”

the resort houses in the garden compound are well maintained, lots of green and flowers. We also spent nights at the resort house at the beach front, the soft rhythm from wave is so nice to listen at night. Orr ya.., the staff were friendly and provided excellent information about the placed of interested in Chantaburi. or else we could have missed the places. the seafood restaurant in walling distance serves nice foods with reasonable prices. Certainly we go back there again in next visit.

I stay in the room next to the sea but the sea is mud, not what I expect. Room is clean and comfortable.

My stay at the hotel wasn't good. The staff is ok, but the location is terrible. The beach is absolutely horrid and not suitable for swiming. There is nothing to do around there and the staff doesn't try much to help out.If you go here you need a car to go to the nice places. The question is why you wouldn't stay in a better are to begin with. The place doesn't serve any food besides breakfast and will charge you a lot for trips (more than they actually costs). The place is way overpriced for the area and the service options.

We booked 3 of the villas near the sea and it offers a unblocked view of the sea. There's a seafood place just beside the rooms and it serves great food. Ample parking space around. The breakfast doesn't offer a great spread.. But it's still good. Strongly recommended

“Beach Front Location, Nice & Peaceful”

Our stay was nice and peaceful. Overall experience was positive. Hotel is located right on the beach. However, it very quiet around this area. There a local restaurant right next to the hotel with great seafood. One thing that didn't work out well was the AC in our room just stopped working in the middle of the night. But staff was very nice and helpful.

“Quiet resort by the coast”

This resort is set on the quiet beach of Chao Lao in Chantaburi. The beach itself is nothing special but it is a great getaway if you want to avoid pretty much everyone else. Rooms are cosy and clean, staff are friendly and speak a little English and the nearby village of Laem Sing is worth a look. The pool is well-designed. Breakfast is a mix of cold noodles, rice and eggs.

It would be better if you have car if you would like to stay here. Because the hotel is quite far from downtown. By the way, the hotel is very good and worth for your money. I stayed in beach front room. Ofcouse , it is really close to the beach - only 10 steps from your room. The room is also clean and comfortable. If you like sea food, i would like to recommend local restuarant next to hotel. It is quite cheap and delicious.

“Relaxing, Very clean, Refreshing”

Its a beautiful modern resort on the Beach. Fast free wifi. I agree with one other review about Chao Lao Beach. We checked out all the resorts and we decided better to stay at Baan Faa Talay Chan and drive 5 minutes along the beach to Chao Lao Beach "Its much cleaner and quieter than the other resorts" The sound of the ocean is relaxing and the sea air is refreshing. There are 2 restaurants within walking distance. The Sea food restaurant next to the resort is nice and the other a grill house is very good. Khun King makes a mean steak there. We are going with friends during the next school holidays, maybe we will rent the big house if available. All in all an excellent experience and me and the Mrs loved it. The kids did not want to leave. Book early for an over the weekend stay. Good Value.

Due to the time limit that I have for booking hotel in Chantaburi, many hotels that I would like to choose were full. However, this hotel might not be my choice in the beginning. I think the location of this hotel is no second to others, you can actually goto a lot of attractions nearby such as Oasis (seaworld), historic places, quite beach, good restaurant and etc..

Very good room was beutifull quiet area to relax on your private balcony beach was muddy as near river mouth but they had an excelent swimming pool and you are right on beach waking up to waves . Not exspencive and good breakfast.

room is beach front, but you cannot swim as it's mangrove mud, not a white sandy beach. So, just enjoy staying in the room, surving WIFI or go to small swimming pool on the other side.

“Quiet, Beach Hotel but far from town”

No staff attend to needs but good for the one who like private. The hotel is very quiet and far from town. Should only drive to reach the hotel however good space for parking.

Totally bad experience, if I could ask for a refund I would. The beach was rocky and full of garbage the beachfront bungalow was situated on a narrow plot of land between the main road and the waterline. In fact you could call it roadside instead of beach side. Landscaping was unfinished. Lighting was cheap white neon light. This kind road side bungalow, can be had for 800 bath in the same general area. The swimming pool was a one family capacity affair and the lobby and pool was locate on the other side of the road, traveled by very fast pickups. Recommended only as a last choice. So far the worst deal yet......

It's inconvenience if stay here with out car becuase it's quite far from city center. By the way, the resort is fantastic especially when you choose sea view villa. The room is very tidy and comfortable. And i am very impressed with a good service.

Pour un petit déjeuner facturé à 150 Bath, c'est tout simplement se payer de la gueule du client, un verre d'eau dans un emballage plastique, 1 œuf et un semblant de salade accompagné d'une pomme... Lors de la réservation il est indiqué l'emplacement de Chaolao beach, plage qui se trouve à près de 8 km. Fort heureusement que j'avais mon véhicule, j'habite depuis 8 ans en Thailande, c'est la première pis que je me fais rouler de cette manière....
