Everything was superb, highly recommend for backpacker who will stay near the khaosan road. Staff helpful and willing to help you. Very clean and comfortable bunk beds. Breakfast was so great.
I stayed here a year ago and really enjoyed it so thought I would try it again. Everything was good apart from the bathrooms. They now smell like mold and the toilets weren’t being checked at, they would stay yucky from the morning until the next morning- so clearly only being checked once a day which isn’t really appropriate when it’s a hostel. Not sure I would stay again because of this unpleasant bathroom experience and bad bad smell
Value for money with free breakfast and clean facilities. The owner / reception is really helpful when it comes to guiding me to go some places.
Short walking distance to the the Grand Palace and Wat Pho temple. Also a quick 10-15 minute walk to Khaosan Road so was easy to get there and enjoy without staying right on top of it. Clean hostel, staff were really nice and helpful. Locker with key for your backpack under the dorm bed as well as a smaller one in bunk. Room was air conditioned and the shared bathrooms were always clean and cleaned regularly. Would definitely recommend.
This hotel near with khaosan road if you walking you'll need 15 minutes. and this hotel near from grand palace temple. you can use tuk tuk for 10 minutes. they have simple breakfast (not rice).
This is an outstanding gateway for me when I made a transefer due to the expiration of my visa in other country. Same place, same people, same experience, same service I got them, thanks for all you did, which set my mind and body in peace and happyiness! I`m Sonio Sun.
We enjoyed our stay at Vivit for the 4 nights we stayed in Bangkok. The location is about a 10 minute walk from Khao San road, and easily walkable to both the Grand Palace and Wat Pho. We were pleased with our private room - for just the two of us it was all we needed. Restroom facilities were clean, although I wish they were cleaned more than once a day - specifically the shower drains. Breakfast in the morning was light, but all we needed to start our day. The staff were all very kind, and the 24 hour reception was a definite perk of our choice to stay here.
I love this hostel! Very neat, decent and accessible. I love the interior and design.
Exceptionally clean rooms and bathrooms. Super comfy beds. Plug in and USB ports + light right in your bed pod. 1 huge locked underneath and a smaller locker inside your pod. Mirror too. AC. Walkable to Palace, Swing, Khoa San (1.1 mile).
The staff are fluent in English and they are very accommodating and patient to our demands. The location is good, it is near the city center and the place is quiet. True value for money!
The toilets and shower rooms are not cleaned regularly, since it shared by everyone it should have been cleaned multiple times a day. Also, there are no hooks to place your towel inside the shower. And you need to bring your own slippers because they don’t have it.
Hotel is nice and clean. Breakfast feels like a diet on weight watchers only jam and toast for food and water/orange juice for drinks. At the same price you can get full breakfast at other hostels.
i booked only onr night and moved to another hostel (the printing house) since i dont think it worth the price at all for this proce you can stay in a hostel woth great breakfast and a shower in the room. my friend who also booked bc of me said the same and also checked out bc the shower was bad.. especially the door. my bed was the worst part. every time someone moved (dorms 4 mixed) we all moved. all my thing kept falling under bed. the check in was bad. no information hust gave me keys and bye. only before i left i found that we had washing machine and commle area.
Good vibes, pretty deco and awesome bed! Dryer + washing machine available too, nice and friendly staff
Breakfast was very basic, limited choices but i liked the cookies. The restroom cubicles were a bit small. Walking distance to the main road and Khao San Road. The staff were friendly and helpful. I had a good stay here. :)
my expectation for this hostel was beyon . im satisfied of the services and accommodation. The staff are friendly and accomodating. The room and bathroom were so clean and no annoying odor, except that i suggest there should be a hook in every comfort room for towels or anything you want to hung. Overall i gave a 98% . Stayed - November 2-5, 2018
It is so close to Khao San road and must visit place. So i recommend travler to stay here! And the staff is so kind ! And they have elevators!
Amazing hostel with beautiful clean rooms and bathrooms. Great breakfast and nice common area to meet other travelers. Good location in the center, you can reach most of the attractions by walking. Very helpfull and friendly staff.
The hostel was very clean. I only stayed for one night. Beds are really soft and comfortable. Staff are super friendly and helpful! Close enough to Khaosan Road 5-10 minute walk .... will stay again .
Very Nice hostel! Good location, beds, breakfast, clean and very friendly and helpful staff
Took a couple room. Very small room with a comfortable bed. Walls are thin. Breakfast was poor. Better places around for the money.
Ok
Vivit hostel is a great hostel! It is very clean, the staff is super friendly and it is well located. There are hostels closer to khoasan road, but I really recommend that hostel!
Nice hostel, clean, staff helpful, good location to work aroud old city in Bangkok. Close to Khow San Road. to many good food around hostel.
Best lodging nearby Khao San Road. The hostel is just in 10mins far from Khao San Road. Also the hostels room condition is really nice. Clean and comfortable. If someone ask me to recomand for a lodging, then Of course I recomand this hostel.
Tried and love cappuccino with chocolate waffle there. Staff is friendly, breakfast was okay. Love this place. One tiny problem was our room was a bit small. 8.5/10
Good location away from the noise of Khao San. Dorm was spacious with plenty of storage space and very comfy beds! Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was very basic with limited options. Only complaint is that the bathroom is quite small and could get very crowded.
Staffs were nice. The room was really clean. Facility was excellent! Just location is bit far from public transportation, but walkable. Strongly recommend!
Really good~!!
I enjoyed my time at ViVit Hostel in Bangkok. It’s location was perfectly situated within walking distance of great sites, such as The Grand Palace, Wat Pho, Khao San Road, Wat Arun, Chinese medicine shops, the Sunday Amulet Market, China town, and many more. The turn over rate of guests is incredible. I had new roommates every day. Showers have hot water. Every floor has a separate men and women’s bathroom, each with two toilets and 3 showers, equipped with body wash and shampoo, a blow dryer, and changing room. They provide you a bath towel, and change it out daily. Beds are very comfortable with curtains, and linens are clean and crisp. Rooms are swept out daily and each bed has two outlets for electricity and two for USB connections. The under bed lockers provide ample space for luggage and/or backpacks. There is also a small cabinet at each bed. Both the locker and cabinet have separate locks for which I was given a key for each. The street sounds are like any other big city I’ve ever been to, lasting late into the night, and starting up early in the mornings, which was not a problem because I wore ear plugs to bed (advisable when staying in a shared room at a hostel). Breakfast was provided for every day, and was toast (wheat and white), real butter, jams (2 to chose from), hard boiled eggs, bananas, instant coffee, water, and juice. This provided a nice change from street food. Considering the space they have downs stairs, this is enough. There are plenty of places to eat at within a couple of hundred feet from the front door. They also have a small, cafe in the lobby that sells a few items. They’ve kept up with the older building, and keep it clean and secure. The people working the front desk were friendly and helpful to me and to every other guest I witnessed them interact with. I would like to suggest that they place a clothes hook in each of the shower stalls to hang things on. They have a rack in there now, but a hook would help make a huge differe
I would definitely recommend this place! Accessibility to all temples, Hospitable Staff, Facilities with blower, Nice breakfast, Friendly roommates, I've got all I want 😍 Thanks for making my first solo trip abroad a memorable one!
I stay there for 3 days, their location is quite near to 3 famous temples (Grand Palace, Wat Pho and Wat Arun) also in Khao San road. They have the most comfy beds and it's definitelty clean. Staffs are friendly, breakfast is usual like bread, banana, boiled eggs, butter etc. But they don't have the following so you need to bring this with you: slippers and toothbrush and toothpaste. Haha but it's totally fine since I felt it was under 4 star hotel.
The staffs were very accommodating. I had a clean and comfy bed. I love the place because it's near Khao San road, the Grand Palace and the Giant Swing.
it's economical. budget friendly hostel. the room is spacious and quiet. the place is near at the grand palace. highly recommended. I want to stay there again.
Best front desk staff, 24-hours reception service & will respond on every demand/request. Walking distance to Khao San Rd, near all the happenings but far from the noise. Super clean bed + facilities. Much nicer in person than the photos posted on the internet. Really loved ours stayed.
I am in awe of this place. One of the best hostels I've stayed at. I loved the interiors of this hostel. It had a very "English Tea Party" vibe to it. They have extremely comfortable beds, clean linen and towels. Separate washrooms for men and women which were quite clean. The hostel was located at a strategic location with most of the tourist attractions located just around the corner. They had a simple yet gratifying breakfast and the staff at the reception were extremely helpful (someone is available at the reception 24/7): be it extending my stay by a night, helping me book a cab or directing me on how to explore Bangkok. I thoroughly did enjoy my time here at Vivit! Definitely going back!
I did not expect to sleep well in a dorm but this hostel was awesome, my sleep couldnt' have been so much better. The bed is unbelievably comfy, clean in a quiet room. Moreover, the staff is smiley and friendly. Breakfast is basic but can't ask for more with the price.
The hostle is clean and trendy. However, the room is simply too small and the breakfast were just toast and boiled eggs. The staff members were nice and helpful.
This is 5 star budget accommodation. Good locations and clean facilities. Good European style breakfast too.
Clean and large rooms with only 4 beds in it. Beddings, linens and towels are of hotel quality! Food stalls and fast food chain within vicinity. Near Khao San Road and bus stops. Really enjoyed my stay here. Value for money!
Pros Clean, friendly staff, free breakfast, air conditioning, quiet at night, high quality bed Cons A little far from Kaosan, no space to keep your dry staff in the bathroom
I always see the waste in the restroom. The housekeepers don't change stomping pad which is in front of the shower room everyday, therefore it's a little bit disgusting after taking a shower. In the public space (2F) , you don't wipe tables clean, and I can feel it's dirty and oily. The advantage is that the bed is comfortable. I got good sleep for three days.
Pros Impeccable rooms. They will surprise you with small detailing- e.g the keys to lower storage and upper storage were marked Great staff beyond comparison!! They help with with anything that you would ask for Coin laundry system- super Near Backpackers area Khaosan Cons The walls were made of paper, could hear bikes and cars on the roads at night The shower cubicles were a bit tight Breakfast was just ok
condition of room is great. actually there is no window. but because of the price is very cheap and the other things are very comfortable.
Nice and Neat.
clean room kind staff location is a bit far
Stayed here at the beginning of my trip and at the end both times where just as good as each other!
Nice place, but bunkbeds are not 200cm so tall people beware.
I stayed in there for 2days. The most good thing was breakfast. I was able to eat coffee, bread, boiled eggs, and banana. It was most good because I was very tired to find a place for breakfast in the morning. And the price for breakfast arround there was not cheep. There was very clean, too.
“The best!!!”
Breakfast starts at 7am but my DIY itinerary schedules me to leave by 7am so I opened up this factor with the staff. I didn't expect them to offer to prepare a breakfast pack for me to carry on the go every morning for 4 days -- and the breakfast packs were huge enough to make me feel like a family member has sincerely packed them for me! Everything was clean, I love the bathroom and its amenities, and the bed amenities are so well-designed -- the space was used very cleverly. Thank you so much, Vivit Hostel staff, you guys are the BEST!!!
