“Great hotel”
Perfect room, only thing is walls can be thin so will hear neighbors if they are loud. Very nice hot tub and saunas.

“Can see Täsch station from the room. Very close!!”
- My booked room size was quite small comparing to the price. -The blanket wasn’t that clean, I noticed some red spot but because I arrived very late that the lobby is nearly to close so I just didn’t use it. - the staffs at the lobby usually disappear (maybe they standby at the restaurant) - I think I had seen the Matterhorn in another angle from the room - overall good because of the convenience.

“Convenient hotel opp train station in Tasch”
Excellent property located directly opp Täsch train station. Easy transfer to/from Zermatt. Rooms recently refurbished with modern amenities. Warm and comfortable. Parking on site which is convenient for guests with car.

“Fuss free stay”
Hotel is near Täsch station which was a plus. Rooms had daily housekeeping. However cleanliness requires more attention and rooms were slightly squeezy, we found pills on the bed sheets probably belonging to the previous guests. Will recommend if you don’t intend to spend much time in hotel room but instead at Zermatt.

“Good Mountain Views and Location”
Located next to Tasch station which is one stop from Zermatt. Room has good hot shower and drinking water with nice mountain views.

“Matterhorn Inn”
Had difficulty locating place due to name change to Matterhorn Inn. It is right in front of the Täsch train station so as long as one is aware of the name change it is very easy to get to. Room small but clean and adequate for solo traveler. There was a safe in the room - always helpful. Positives: Excellent location, room is clean, safe available in room, friendly and accommodating staff, Migros grocery store very close to hotel. Negatives: No refrigerator in room, no slippers or dental kit provided. I had to check out early to catch the Glacier Express from Zermatt. A packed breakfast was provided and while the other items (apple, banana, tea) were good, the ham and cheese sandwich was not. Sadly, I could not eat the sandwich, it was that bad. Overall I would definitely stay here again although I probably will just get my own food from the grocery store. (Did not get to try their complimentary breakfast as I had to leave early so I could not comment on that).

“Opposite train station ”
The hotel actually has changed name to Matterhorn Inn now, located just directly opposite Tasch train station so it is quite convenient. However Tasch itself has nothing much to do after 6pm and even the Coop n Migros nearby close early. Room is spacious and clean.

“Matterhorn Inn”
This is definitely a way better option than all the pricy hotels in Zermatt, and since the location of this hotel is only a 15-minute train ride away from Zermatt, I don’t see why people would choose to stay in Zermatt rather than Täsch. The facilities are awesome, I used their hot tub and the gym which worked as expected. My only critique is that breakfast is available but not included.

“Great room tucked in Tasch”
Travelling between tasch and zermatt is really easy and convenient. We loved that we are away from the hustle bustle in zermatt. The room we got was 501 (looked like the only room on level 5). Lift service serves till level 4 only and we had to bring our luggage up a flight of stairs. This didn't hinder our experience here, we loved our room with great views, probably not recommended for taller people to stay in due to the really low ceiling. Staff at the recept and restaurant were great, breakfast had a great variety. Would stay here again!

“New name and different location ”
The hotel is no longer called the Swiss Budget Alpen hotel. Now it is called the Matterhorn Inn. The address that was provided to us. Let us to a wrong address. The hotel is right across from the train station. More convenient than expected. Your website needs to be updated.

Excellent location. Just opposite to Tasch train station, just need to cross the road. Only one station from Zermatt station. Train to Zermatt every 20 minutes. Very convenient for going to Gornergrat. Staff are very nice and helpful. Room is clean and tidy with a nice balcony where you can enjoy your coffee. Overall a excellent experience. Definitely will stay here again next time.

Good location spacious room. Everything is good in the room. Except restaurant cleanliness, saw a rat running in the corner while taking breakfast.

“A gem!”
This accommodation is a gem!! We were a group of 3, so the hotel provided an extra bed in the room. Space was a bit tight but was not an issue for me. The space was very clean and they even had an electric kettle in the room! Our room also came with a balcony, a major bonus as the night sky is very beautiful. Super convenient location that was across the train station and one station away from Zermatt (car-free zone), it’ll take you around 5 mins to get to Zermatt. We especially appreciated the fact that the toilet was equipped with a bath tub and even had a rain shower head! Highly recommend this to all, female travellers too! Note: They don’t have a receptionist available 24-hours so do stick to the check-in time given. If you’re there early just opt for the early check-in when you book on Agoda or look for a staff available as they can store your luggages at the reception booth (which will be locked).

Best location just opposite the train station with walking time less than 5mins, hotel with elevator and friendly staff, room is small for travellers carrying 2 big luggages it is hard to walk

Enjoyed my stay there. although the room is pretty small, so be mindful if opening 2 luggages at once. staff were accommodating with allowing late check in via the pigeon hole (to place our access card)

“Great location with big room ”
We loved the room a lot. It’s spacious and the bathroom was huge too. It came with a bathtub as well. The breakfast was good. Lot of choices. It’s just located 10 mins away from Zermatt. Just take the train which is just in front of the hotel. Very accessible. Staff was nice too.

Definitely a nice hotel for people who want to visit Zermatt. Just in front of the station Tasch. Train to zermatt every 2 minutes. Hotel has a jacuzzi, sauna, hammam. Room with balcony full of flowers. The breakfast is fine. Great for the skiers

“Nice hotel”
We got the highest room 501 (attic room). It was a good size, clean, and has all we need. Hotel is newly renovated. The only downside is that room 501 does not have elevator access, need to climb up stairs 1 level. No dedicated space for luggage storage, so we left our luggage outside in the lobby (feel a bit unsafe but nothing was missing).

“Pleasant Stay”
This is just located in front of the Tarsh station, 20 mins train to Zermatt. Quiet small town near Zermatt. We've a 3 days 2 nights pleasant stay here, the breakfast is average. Overall, satisfied with the stay.

“Great Location”
Hotel is one train station away from zermatt. Area was quiet and peaceful with lesser traffic and people. View was amazing and I could also view the snow capped mountains from the room. Breakfast was good. Will come back here again if I am visiting switzerland.

“Acceptable ”
Great location but too pricey, do not provide free transport to zermat. Resturant staffs extremely rude and calculative, refuse us to borrow utensils. Be more caring please
