“Location is the only good side”
This is like a dormitory not a hotel. I am only staying for around 5 hours just waiting for my flight back to Manila. I arrived around 10:30 am asking if I can have an check in early. From 10:30, you will be charged 100/hr. Total of 400. I instead go to the massage nearby and checked in by 2pm. Room is small. With only bed that can fit into it. No complimentary water, coffee, tootbrush, soap, etc. No water heater No telephone No Hot water in the shower. Aircon temp is 27. Can’t lower it. No fire exit. Hallway is too small. I can hear all the voices outside when I’m sleeping. You can’t bring big luggages. Reception is at the 2nd floor and thru the stairs. Also evelator is too small from 2nd to 5th floor. Just an honest review. I hope they can fix everything before running the inn.

“Hidden Place in The City - No Wifi”
The service was excellent. The staff are amazing in giving directions and informations. No hot shower. Slow to no internet connection.

“One night stay ”
The place is fine the only problem is the WIFI. I am a travelling employee and I need internet connection the most. The internet is not working and if it’s working it’s so slow. Additional”ly, the airconditioning is not cooling the room so I and my parntner slept sweaty. On anothet hand the staff are helpful enought to my request like filling up the soap cause there was no soap and no toothbrush too.

“WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN ILOILO”
Be careful with this hotel. Pretty bad service overall. Teach your staff to be courteous and respectful. If you make mistakes respond with respectful manner and if you make mistakes take charge and own it! Also be careful of returning money and have your guest sign an acknowledgment! ALSO HAVE YOUR STAFF ACCESS THE EXTRANET FOR MORE ACCURATE INFORMATION OF OUR CHECK OUT TIME! that’s given to you for a reason. I wasted so much time and effort to fix my things knowing it’s not yet my check out date. Stop relaying incorrect information as well. Always check!

“Right at the center of the city.”
I was with my mom. Hospitable staffs. Walking distance lang siya sa Roberto's. Halos one ride lang lahat ng famous tourist spots. I would suggest to check pillows since may mga stains. There is unpleasant smell coming from drainage of the comfort room. Tinakpan nlang namin ng plastic and sinarado ang pinto ng cr. Nasira din wifi. Overall, okay naman siya.

Surprised that there's a staircase prior to reaching the hotel lobby, which isn't recommended for adults and guests with a huge luggage. Staff were eating heavy meals infront of the lobby which is also not welcoming. Elevator door quickly closes. I don't think it functions properly anymore. Rooms are spacious enough tho.

“Smells Bad and Infested”
The hotel smells unpleasant. The airconditioner leaked. There were mosquitoes, ants and cockroaches. There’s not enough space to put down luggage for 2 people so we struggled with that. Only 1 side table, too. No desk. The walls are stained, desperately needs repainting. Some sort of insect nest was at the door frame.

“Affordable and Worth It!”
Stayed for one night with 3 of my friends. Everyone was so nice, and the rooms are clean! The TV is also a smart TV (we watched Netflix). It was close to a lot of tourist attractions especially the museums. Sadly, there was no shampoo in our bath but I'm sure you can ask in the reception (we were just shy). There was also a hair blower. And you can tell everything is new because you can smell the new furnitures haha. It's not too bad tho. If you have luggage, you might have trouble going up to the reception, but there's an elavator to the rooms. And it's located in the market! My group didn't have a problem with that but you might want to know.

I love the bed, it’s very comfortable. Clean sheets, and soft pillows. They also replace the towels daily.

It is worth your money. The room has a regatta-vibe design and it adds to the beach feel. The lobby has a foul bat-smell.

“disappointed!!”
I stayed 4 nights only because agoda didn't give me my money back after the first night. When I asked what was up with the internet they said "sorry sir we don't have internet!", hot water "sorry sir we don't have hot water!" the window frame is made of metal and is welded, so you can't open the window and the glass is not transparent, you can't see anything outside. I didn't find coffee cups or toothbrushes, which is normal to have in every hotel. I think they recommend themselves as a 4 star hotel.

“No Wi-Fi or Hot Water”
Do not stay here, they don't have Wi-Fi, or hot water in the shower. Construction in the street in front. Windows are sealed shut and you cannot see out of Windows because they put privacy film on glass. Rodent feces on the shelves. They did not want to give me refund, but I was able to get a refund though Agoda. 1st room they put me in had no windows, I felt claustrophobic, like i was a prison.

“Water heater not working. ”
Water heater not working. No hot water kettle. Dirty. But staff is friendly. Elevator is very ancient and jerky. Location is good.

“Bad plumbing ”
We were looking for a budget hotel. Pictures of this hotel looked really nice. Upon arrival, the entrance was disappointing. You have to look out for the signage because the entrance is quite narrow. Steps to the lobby look suspicious. Upstairs looked like an abandoned shopping arcade. The lobby is at the far end. Personnel were pleasant enough. Our room looked cute just like in the picture. Air conditioning was very good. Using the bathroom is what ruined the experience. I heard water running on to the ceiling which later overflowed out the side of the ceiling. It was smelly water. It was disgusting. The drain didn’t drain well also. I advised staff not to book that room unless they fixed the plumbing. That was room 305.

“Satisfied first time guest”
I booked this last minute Wednesday evening. I was supposed to keep a vigil at my uncle's wake but having flown in from overseas and lacking sleep (only had 2.5 hours of rest before landing in Iloilo from a 2.5 and then another 1 hour plane rides) decided to find a suitable place to recharge. Chose this because of its location, the nice photos, and the special offer. Am very happy that I stayed here. I got to have a wonderful night sleep. A hidden gem right within the Shanghai Bazar complex. Bed was soft, the toiletries were luxurious when lathered, the aircon was powerful, the bed and pillows were plush. The toilet tiles looked great. Very homey. The common areas in all of the floors had a warm, welcoming, rustic feel. The thread count of the beddings was not half bad, either:)

“Worst experience ”
They charge for everything, even reusable coffee cups. I was welcomed by a cockroach half the size of a peso bill, and the room looked like it was handed over literally right after the previous person who stayed in that room just fixed it in order - no room service. The Internet connection was so bad. The staff has some attitude problems to fix. It's not the hotel room you’re expecting. Don’t get fooled by the photos. Reconsider.

“Worst Customer Service”
They do not reply with your inquiries and when you are there they will just tell you “We can’t reply since our phone number only receives incoming text” - while they can even just text with their other numbers. Their messenger will also ghost you.

If you don't mind a room that smells like sewer then you can stay here. Was not able to sleep well because I was worried about safety and security.
