Check ur accreditation hotel
all staff is very friendly and nice, and the hotel is very safe and clean
Nice location, nice room. friendly staffs
Everything is good except the breakfast. They are served in chafing dish but they do not have the heating wax despite our request. We stayed there for 4 days and the food is served cold. You are lucky if you wake up early by the time the breakfast is served and you can get it hot. But who wants to wake up early when you are on a vacation?????
Wifi is not usable on our room. You have to go out of your room and look for a good spot to use it. Also, the room is very small for 3pax. The only thing that is good in this hotel is its location to Vigan's main attractions and some friendly staffs.
Staff: attentive and courteous Location: Excellent walking distance to Calle Crisologo Food: Nothing to write home about. Facility: Had 2 rooms reserve, our room bed is a 1 star level, aircondition is 4 stars, bathroom is below 1 star. Hotel should do a serious deep cleaning of bathroom facilities. The shower head was gunky. The sink is dirty as well as the toilet. The water was off for a while, so we are unable to use the facility, very inconvient. The other room was bigger than the 1st room, but the bed are the same. The bed sheet had some menstrual stain, so we ask the housekeeping to change it again. The water stop working in the bathroom as well. Noise Level: Continues banging for several days, but warning was given to us. Overall, if its not the location and staff i will give this hotel a below zero star.
I don’t know if it is just me or this hotel is really creepy. I got a super cheap deal from agoda. I went there by myself for a business trip and I stayed in a junior suite room, which is super big for myself and makes the hotel even more creepier. Lols. I was told by the receptionist that the hotel was more than 150 years old and it was burned before (kinda regret i asked). Calle crisologo is just a few steps away from the hotel. Breakfast was average, nothing special but the ambience was good because you’ll be eating at the garden. All in all, this hotel was nice. Just make sure you to bring family or friends with you so you’re not gonna end up waking up every hour because you’ll become so praning like me. Lols.
Decent room, price is OK, plus excellent location, that's value for money. They have friendly staff and very helpful. Highly recommended.
Rooms are big, clean and orderly. breakfast is good. Within the heritage village. Having a parking is a plus. Will definitely book here again
Value for money! Wished we could have stayed longer but were on a continuous travel
they was confused when i arrived to the lobby and presented the voucher, they told me it was full and they keep asking what time i booked, wheres the confirmation but yes at the end they gave different room but too big for me, it was creepy to stay on that place if you're alone.
We were very disappointed in the Gordion Hotel. The rooms were like a dungeon. Non working windows boarded up (Fire/Escape Violation). Maid service was poor. They did not restock water and coffee. Did not change bed sheets or pillow cases or replace wet dirty bath mat in bathroom. Road construction if front of the hotel hard to find parking. Just say no to the Gordion!
Room quite small especially the toilet. Hard to move
Room condition is average, Location is strategic (walking distance to Calle Crisologo, Plaza and other tourist attractions in Vigan, Food is very limited. They should have add more viands since there's no exemption in their buffet breakfast. all kids even those below 11 y/o have to pay for full meal.
We really loved this old hotel with lots of charm. Everything was clean & the bed was comfy. Nice hot water, good breakfast.......at the hotel staff was excellent. The bar is really bad but I'm getting more used to the in Philippines. Why does a bar not carry the liquor that people drink? In any event there is a liquor store a few blocks away. We had no problem carrying it in like a previous review. The location of the hotelis right in the middle of everything. I really liked this hotel -
Ot really value for money there... for the dame price you can get better rooms from other hotels that are nicer. Room was small and no windows... very small too. But the location was good as walking distance ti most places
Pros: - good location for its price - authentic 100 century home turned into a hotel, so the character and details of the hotel are on point - staff are good - and we had a spacious room for 5 Cons: - plumbing needs maintenance- bidet was leaking causing water ponding in our toilet, though we asked it to be fixed, it was still leaking after. - breakfast was so-so, could be improved Had an awesome stay nonetheless. Perfect for groups with older companions as this within walking distance from Calle Crisologo.
Old and a little bit gloomy for my taste. The front desk took a long time to find my reservation although already paid. Welcome drink was not even real juice. The restaurant was always empty. The outdoor bar also was not used for reasons unknown. You will find accommodation with better character in Vigan. Although location is prime. It is only a stone throw away from the famous Calle Crisologo.
Growing black mound & urinal flies in the bathroom. No WiFi. Old, damp, noisy, and overall crap. Will never stay here or recommend anyone else staying here too. I think I got sick from this hotel.
Great time here in Vigan staying in this hotel. Close to Calle Crisologo night spots and stores. About 400 meters to Plaza Burgos and Vigan Cathedral. About 1km to Vigan Market, Puregold, Jollibee and Partas Bus. All in all great find.
Standard facilities. Room had spacious toilet and batch. Location is great because it's very near Calle Crisologo.
We booked Gordion at the last moment and got a great deal. The hotel is parallel to the heritage street, Crisologo. It is very convenient. We parked the car at the hotel and were able to walk everywhere. The hotel is beautifully furnished with antiques, and the woodwork is amazing. The rooms are basic but comfortable. The bathroom was not cleaned very well, but the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was included but everything was cold. Most staff members were friendly and helpful.
The staff were friendly and attend to your needs. It is also near the attraction such as Calle Crisologo and the Fountain. The only bad I can say was, if you check in early they will charge you additional 50%.
Location near resto. Calle crisologo and other areas of interests. Gordion hotel is a charming and well maintained hotel. Theyhave a professional front desk. I will stay again there.
It was worth it except for the breakfast which was quite not as I expected. it can be improved :)
Pros- location and staff. Cons- lack of varieties on food choices.
Thumbs up
Free breakfast provided. Parking space limited. Welcome drinks provided.
Gordion Hotel is located in the heart of Calle Crisologo. Our stay was definitely a breeze since we just toured around Vigan City. The hotel as been around since the 1970's if I remember the brochure I've read correctly. And it's amazing how well kept it is! There's a homey and vintage feel to the place. From the wooden doors to the stone statues in the hotel, it is reminiscent of the Spanish Era. Our room was awesome, it's very clean and the AC didn't disappoint. They are just a little strict on hotel rules, you'd have to read the list of dos and don'ts they give you to provide unnecessary charges. Hotel staff are super friendly and accommodating. They definitely know their thing. What I love is that they have a Garden by the Ruins where they serve their breakfast if the weather is nice. It's a charming part of the hotel and definitely an awesome start to your day. So if you're looking for a nice place to stay in with value for your money the next time you find yourself in Vigan, do check them out! ♥
Hotel is really very nice from lobby to rooms. Staff are all friendly as well. I must say very good location, near the must see places in Vigan.
Booked two supposedly adjoining rooms as I had indicated through Agoda. When I arrived close to midnight because of the long long drive, the hotel staff insisted that I only booked for one room. After showing her my Agoda transactions, only then did she agree to give me my second room, but two floors away. And without an elevator, of course. The hotel boasted of authentic centuries-old thick walls -- so thick that wifi signals cannot penetrate. Therefore one needs to proceed down a couple flights of stairs to the lobby just to catch a signal. Isnt that 'remarkable'? :(
.
Dinning room did not offer an attractive meal and needed to look outside for something else
Toilet is dirty room a bit dark
I would recommend Gordion Hotel to other travelers.
We were expecting for a swimming pool...
Old equipments and appliances, poor wifi connection
The staff's were nice, the room was clean. but I couldn't believe this is 4 star level... The breakfast was so poor and even no fridge...

I booked three standard bed rooms. Before checking in the receptionist told me to leave one thousand each room a total of three thousand pesos in case we brake anything or if any thing get missing during our stay. They only put two towels to one room fortunately we always brings our own towels so we did not bother to ask for it but during the check out after checking our rooms they told me that towels are missing from two rooms. I invited them to check our baggage, insisted that I will not pay for it as there was no towels in the rooms when we checked in. The restaurant staffs needed a lots of training. It takes long time to serve our food nearly an hour then when they served them they served it all the same time ( soup and main). Luckily we did not order dessert. The main dishes has gone cold when we finished the soup. We are also told that we are not allowed to drink inside the hotel unless we purchase it inside the hotel but they only have very limited selections ,they do not have red horse beer. Red horse beer is only cost 60 pesos when we buy it outside (because they do not have it inside) then the staff told us that they will charge us 150 for drinking it inside the Gordion Hotel?? This is a very bad rules of them, very selfish. We are happy to buy the drinks inside but they only have San Miguel light and San Miguel Beer, my husband and sons do not drink those beers. We are on holiday but it ended us feeling stress because of this hotel. I am hoping this place will change their policy.
Nightmare!!
Enjoyable, memorable
it was fine. I enjoyed my stay in vigan
Staff is fantastic but have to apologize repeatedly for the hotel difficiencies.
Not good who rated this place has never stayed in a 4 star hotel. Mouse droppings in bath room, no toilet paper, no free wifi except in the lobby. Saff inattention and on face book. No clean towles delivered to room. Room was not cleaned in 2 days. Concierge Phone rang all night. No pool no entertainment other than tv. No atmosphere the place felt dead. Took 10 minutes to check out.
Not good, will try to find another' hotel if I can back up from this one
Nice place to stay. Central location and easy to get tourist attractions.
