“許容”

Cannot comment other than not customer friendly. Would not even consider a partial refund when airline cancelled our flight to Amsterdam and we could not get another that day. EasyJet did give refund. Iron Horse could have at least offered partial refund - we had two double rooms for two nights. Would not recommend them.

Clean hotel, friendly and helpful staff, good location with many restaurant nearby. Within walking distance 10 mins to a big shopping area near the canal.

Great location within walking distance of Vondel Park and right by Leidseplein square. Team stops near by to take you to Amsterdam central. Great hotel, friendly staff and good value for money.

Great staff, the rooms were clean and really beautiful, the location is perfect (2 min from leidsplein), also the hotel offers bike rental, that was very comfortable.

The most friendly and helpful staff, shout out to Danielle for all the advice about the city. Location is good for anyone who wants to walk around the city and really see the place, otherwise there is a tram stop just around the corner so good transport links. Very comfortable and spacious rooms. The free coffee machine in the lobby was the best surprise. Little touches like that made our stay so much more comfortable. Will definitely be coming back here again.

“Comfortable stay, great acccess to the city”

Overall the hotel was great, you had free coffee and tea in the lobby area and the rooms were a good size. However, the rooms could have been cleaner as we noticed that the curtains and the floor had stains on them. The reception desk was helpful, I think Daniella was her name, as she provided us with a lot of information when we arrived.

A little outside of the main attractions but we liked that as we had to explore more of Amsterdam. Its about half hour walk from the Red Light District for example. We hired bikes for the day. 15 euros each for the whole day. And rode around the park and every where we wanted to go and really enjoyed it. We caught the 397 bus to and from the hotel at only 5 euros each, each way, only a hslf hour journey and about a five minute walk. Google maps on our phones was a great help😀. The hotel gives you a door card to come and go as you wish at sll hours. There is a free safe, coffee machine in the room as well as a freecoffee/tea/hot chocolate machine in rhe reception area. Only very small comment would be that the paint work in the room could be freshioned up and pullows were very thick but the room, bedding and bathroon was extremely clean. Fantastic value and woukd highly recommend.

“Worst than ever ...”

I travelled everywhere around the world and I never saw that. The room is dirty, cold, the bed to much soft (be ready to have pain during few days). But the more nice was the shouting and beating between man and woman during all the night. If you want unsafe feeling and be sure you will not sleep all the night. Choose this hotel When we discuss this point the day after with the management they said is hard for them to manage the security because they leave in another building and it was our fault because we had to call them. Funny experience for the one who like living dangerously :-) Breakfast, we leave the hotel before having anthoner experience.

“Disappointing”

The pictures made the rooms look so spacious and clean and modern, however the nicest thing I can say about our room was the bathroom. The room we had was so tiny that the bed barely fit in it, therefore we had to climb over the bed to get to the other side, which was disappointing because I knew we could have found another hotel for a similar price with a much bigger room. The room had no ventilation and the windows didn't open, so there was no place to vent the smells from the bathroom or the room itself. The curtains looked as if they had been dragged through the mud and left to hang, forgotten about for years. The mattress sunk down in the middle, so my partner and I always ended up falling in the middle together throughout the night. The breakfast was worth the price, and the location was good, within easy tram access to the city centre. Luckily we only spent a night here, not certain I could've lasted a second night.

“Concert overnight ”

To be honest I was quite nervous after reading a lot of negative reviews. It was not as bad as expected but it's not a great hotel. Mattresses and old furniture piled up in corners of the corridors and hostel like look but it was clean and we had a coffee machine! I would not return but it certainly was not terrible.

“Value-for-money stay in Amsterdam”

I am not sure about the rationale behind the horse portraits around the hotel. But we had no issue with it. The reception serves free coffee/tea which we could help ourselves to. The location of the hotel was good, only a 15-min walk and you'll be in the heart of the city. The room was just the right size and the toilet was huge. The only complaint was that we had to carry our luggage up to level 4 because there were no lifts. But good workout during the cold weather I guess.

“Dirty - not a hotel - understaffed.”

About the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Dirty - horrible mattress and pillow - no windows to open - so a lot of stale air lingered there. I ordered a de-luxe twin room - I don't know what the 'de-luxe' was. Towel rack falling down - toilet paper holder falling down - shower head in desperate need of maintenance. No cleaning of room for three days - I left at 8 in the morning and returning at 14:30 - having put the green sign on the door when I left - but unfortunately the staff was too busy - or that's what they told me. I was offered another room - but was told 'the standard is the same - sorry'. The safe didn't work - and was put on top of the wardrobe - not for me to reach - so having paid EUR 120,- per night for this I feel totally cheated and it was a rip-off. Did I forget to mention the brown stains of the wall - origin unknown - and also rubbish left in the corridor - for every one to see - but no staff had the inclination to hoover this area - like no one saw any need for dusting the window panes in the stair case - it was very dirty. The staff was extremely noisy in the afternoon - when I tried to rest a bit - sounded like they threw the furniture about - and banging the doors endlessly. This is not a hotel - it's at best a hostel - and half the price would have been correct.

“Good hotel with minor problems”

Good nice and clean hotel with a perfect service and good staff. Only problem was, that there wasn´t any windows, but all in all a nice experience.

Sheet on the bed had a yellow stain size of a fist, long black hairs on the bed and among the towels in the bathroom.. Straight that up and it will be perfect.

““Clean- affordable and perfect location ””

Comfortable and affordable hotel at the corner of Leidseplein square .. Very clean bathrooms, ( think they are newly refurbished) spacious rooms but windows don't open .. that's the only downside.. We got the basement room in the second building which was comfortable but I wasn't happy of the fact that I couldn't open the window.. The mattress was very soft - but not a deal breaker... ask for a soft pillow if u need a thin pillow because we first had hard big pillows and asked for them to be changed Check out is at 11:00 am - but they let you store your bags and come back for them later Over all- comfortable stay as we only really used the room to come shower and sleep I highly Recommend this as a budget hotel

Excellent hotel, room, staff and location. There is a nice coffee machine and hot chocolate in the reception. And it's free... The room is very comfortable and big. The bathroom is new and very clean. Everything nice. Just a few minutes from principal area. It's just 6 minutes walking to BK and Bull Dog Palace, 5 minutes walking to VonDelpark, 10 minutes to Van Gogh Museum, 20 walking to Anne Frank House and 20 to Red Light district.

Location to central town is quite close. Beds were very comfortable and cleanliness very good throughout. Staff are friendly and helpful. Shower temperature very good and decent water pressure. Bathroom could do with an extractor fan as could not seem to see or hear one operating. Shame that there wasn't a mini fridge in the room. They have a free coffee machine in the lobby which was very nice :-)

More than our expectation, the room clean and large, near supermarkets and restaurants, bike shop just besides of hotel. Easy Take Tram No. 1 from Centraal to Hotel.

Staff managed to check us in early, as I arrived earlier than expected. Room was pleasantly clean, tidy and spacious for the price paid. Location is fantastic, short walk away from the city centre.

Very helpful staff, great location near Leidseplein, less than 5 minutes walk from the trams which takes you straight to the city center. Room was a little on the sparse side, but for all intents and purposes are great. Very clean, great (albeit a bit small!) bed. :D Breakfast was quite good as well. Had a wonderful time here and would recommend Hotel Iron Horse!

The hotel is located in a walking distance to the main streets of Amsterdam. The room was clean and spacious. The shower was good and the staff were friendly.

“Good choice for budget stay”

We had a room in the newly-built wing, so everything sparkled. Bathroom was done tastefully, TV was flat screen, and WIFI was adequate. Only problem was that the room was small and we were a bit cramped. But we would stay there again.

My stay in this hotel was comfortable. the rooms are really small but that's ok because the price is pretty affordable given rates in the city. we were in a nice location that allowed us to walk to the main museums.

It was good value for money, centrally located - walking distance from Rijks museum, Van Gogh museum. 2-3 minute walking distance to tram station, 10 minute tram ride from central station. Hotel was very clean, spacious, good amenities, staffs were professional. The only problem I had was that I and my husband stayed in a twin room where two beds are attached but each mattress was too narrow and soft, it was a bit uncomfortable for couple but overall was ok.

It was bought at a special price, but it gave me a really bad location. There was a breakfast place and a kitchen next door. When I asked for a change of venue, I refused to change it ,The room is all full.

언더그라운드 더블룸에 묶었는데 엘리베이터가 없어서 짐을 내리기 불편했다. 그러나 방은 넓었고 화장실도 넓어 지내기 편했음. 중앙역에서 트램타고 7정거장이면 도착하고 주변이 시내라 걸이다니기 편하다. (침대는 불편함. 너무 푹 들어감)

“과분한 평을 받는 호텔”

암스테르담에 머무르는 날이 3일밖에 되지 않았는데 이 호텔로 인해 암스테르담 전체에 대한 인상이 나빠졌음. 호텔의 룸이 다 소진되서인지 모르지만 손님을 받으면 안될 룸이 제공되었음. 건물이 공사중이었는지 룸으로 들어가는 복도에 가득한 비품들로 인해 창고로 들어가는 느낌이었고, 샤워부스의 물이 정말 한 방울씩 내려가는 듯이 물에 발이 잠긴 채 샤워해야했음. 바로 위층에서 인부들의 발소리, 콘크리트 부수는 소리가 아침 8시쯤부터 시작되었고 창밖으로 설치된 비계에는 인부들의 발이 바로 정면에 보여 커텐도 열 수 없었음. 룸에 비치된 금고는 잠긴채였고, 프론트에 하수도와 금고문제를 얘기했더니 이미 물이 잘 안나가는 룸인 것을 알고 있었고, 게다가 조금씩이라도 물이 내려가니 문제 없다는 답변, 금고는 우리가 외출해서 돌아올 때까지 열어두겠다고... 둘째날 아침엔 천장의 등이 나가 어두컴컴한 방에서 외출준비를 했고, 체크아웃하고 나왔음. 호텔에서 제공되는 룸이라기엔 상식적으로 이해가 되지 않았기에 동양인이라서 이런 룸을 줬는가 하는 인종차별받은 느낌까지 드는, 매우 불만족스러운 호텔임. 12세인 딸까지 3인이었는데, 유럽의 호텔은 보통 2인룸에 아이가 함께 투숙할 수 있고 조식도 무료인 경우가 많기 때문에 이 곳도 2인룸을 예약했고 체크인시 3인을 확인했음에도 조식시간에 3인이냐며 인상을 찌푸림. 시설도, 서비스도, 직원도 이렇게 후진곳은 처음임.

平時不會特地給住宿評價，這家住宿不僅離車站很近、有百年歷史還維持得相當不錯，員工態度良好。會想要再訪的飯店。

Caminando se llega comodamente a cualquier sitio, trenvia cerca. Habitacion super comoda. Personal amable. La cafetera gratis a la entrada, es muy bueno. Tomamos chocolatada tambien. Falta un poco mas de luz en la habitacion nomas

Estancia muy agradable, a pocos pasos de transporte publico y muchos puntos de interes del centro de la ciudad. Habitaciones nuevas, limpias y comodas. El desayuno no lo probe. Recepcionista española muy amable y con ganas de ayudar. A pocos metros restaurante thai muy rico

bon accueil, hôtel correct sauf que le matin il y a du bruit (claquement de porte). hôtel bien situé, au niveau propreté( a par des tâches de sang dans les draps ) cetait propre.

Matelas du lit très fatiguée (avec ressort que l'on sent ressortir), qui rendent la nuit forte désagréable. Ampoule de la pièce principale HS, conséquence pièce sombre.
