“バンガロータイプは要注意！”

本館はとても便利な位置に所在するが、バンガロータイプは本館から２㎞くらい離れた寂れた地区にある。周りにはローカルな店しかなく、不便だった。ゴールデンロックに行く途中の乗り合いトラック中継地前にあり、特に早朝４時ごろからトラックの走行音および人の声がうるさく、寝られたものではない。くれぐれもご注意を！！

“山頂のホテルと比較しますとこちらのホテルがオススメかと。”

チャイティーヨー （ゴールデンロック）での年越し、初日の出を見る為に利用しました。 実際は、山頂にあるゲストハウスを当日手配出来ました為、宿泊はせず到着時のシャワー、山頂から戻って 来た際のシャワー、朝食しか利用しませんでしたが。チャイティーヨー行きのトラック乗り場がホテルを背に して左斜め前に見えましたのですぐにわかりました。またバス亭から歩いても１００Ｍ以内の位置にあります。 トラックは通常6時から運行を開始するようですが、1月1日は参拝客が多いためか４時位から運行を開始して いたようです。（現地で知り合った日本人の女性旅行者談）。事前に4時位から運行が開始されるのがわかっていれば わざわざ山頂のゲストハウスを手配する必要はありませんでした。山頂のゲストハウスはひどかったです。 （共用トイレ、共用シャワー（実際は桶に貯めてある水をすくいそして洗う）、部屋は蛾がおり、廊下・隣の部屋 の声が丸聞こえ、トイレットペーパーなし、布団も汚そうでした。）昼間にチャイティーヨーを見るのであれば 山頂のホテルなどに宿泊されずこちらのホテルに宿泊した方が格安で清潔かと思います。あと山頂は神がいる場所ということでアルコールはホテルでしか販売されていないようです。（缶のミャンマービール１本３ドル、通常は１ドル位）。最後に山頂の朝方と夜間は風が吹き超寒いです。昼間は暑いですが。ただ数百人ほどチャイティーヨーの敷地内で毛布にくるまって野宿している家族の方がおりましたのでびっくりしました。（ほとんど現地の方です。）

“快適でした”

トラック乗り場の前で便利。スタッフも親切。部屋も快適。ただ朝早くゴールデンロック目指したいのに朝食がなかなか出てこないのでたべませんでした。

スタッフ全員優しすぎます。 ヤンゴンに戻るときのバスが出るギリギリまで涼しいフロントで待たせてくれて、またバスまで送迎してくれました。

帰りのヤンゴンまでのバスティケット手配も適正価格にてしてくれた。

ヤンゴンからのバスの停留所、ゴールデンロックへ行くバスの出発所、ともに近く、歩いて一分でした。ゴールデンロックへ行くバスは、スタッフがそろそろ出発するよ～と声をかけてくれ、バスターミナルで長々と待つ必要はありませんでした。帰りのバスがなくなってしまうかもしれないことを考えて、スタッフが懐中電灯を貸してくれたり、合羽の代金を持っていなかったら、立て替えてくれたり、とにかく親切すぎるほど親切なスタッフに感動でした。雨季でしたが、なんとか天候に恵まれ、観光客が全くいない中、のんびりと素晴らしい写真をとることができました。近くにレストランはあまりありませんが、五分ほど歩いたところにあるレストランは、ミャンマー料理より、中華料理の方がおいしかったです。

“コスパの良いホテル”

ゴールデンロックを見るために利用したホテル。周りはバックパッカー向けのようなホテルが多い中、ビジネスホテルのような綺麗なホテル。価格も、このグレードからするとリーズナブルでコスパに優れている。部屋は広く、綺麗。ゴールデンロック行きのトラックバスターミナルも近かった。

部屋はきれいです。 しかしエアコンから水が出ているのにもかかわらず、対応策を取ってくれなかった。 スタッフはやる気なさそうでした。

ｺﾞｰﾙﾃﾞﾝ･ﾛｯｸ観光の為に宿泊｡ﾔﾝｺﾞﾝからのﾊﾞｽ停から徒歩3分と至近｡ｺﾞｰﾙﾃﾞﾝ･ﾛｯｸ行きのﾄﾗｯｸ乗り場も徒歩3分とこれまた便利｡ 朝食が5時から食べれたので朝一番出発のﾄﾗｯｸ(6時)に乗る事ができた｡

“バスを降りてすぐ見えて、すぐ休める。”

チャイティーヨーのトラック乗り場もバス停もすぐ近くだが、朝日や夕日を見たいなら頂上でなければ無理。 朝食は、初日はチャーハンの目玉焼き添えとコーヒーのみ。二日目はか焼そばの目玉焼き添えとコーヒーのみ。 連泊でも掃除やリネンの交換がない。

Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was basic but okay but not clear we could order eggs and butter was a bit off.

“Noise!”

Super clean, and right in the centre of town, next to the truck station. Noise was incessant though, all night. Unless you can sleep through anything, or have fantastic earplugs, do yourself a favour and choose one of the other limited options.

Staffs are very helpful! Opposite is the bus stop to Golden Rock. Breakfast is good. Washrooms are clean.

Bang in the centre of Kinpun, with trucks up to Golden rock mountain and pickups down to Kyaihtio both just steps away from hotel. Nice and comfortable room. If the price is acceptable for you, this is a convenient options to stay at.

Best location to stay before going up to Kyaiktiyo because it is located near the bus station. Clean and friendly staff. Cons for the sound from outside.

“Unexpected situation”

Well, I thought I would stay at the main building but they sent my family to a resort which a bit far from the building and the resort is closed to the checkpoint which is so noisy from truck and car horn

“Perfect location for the golden rock ”

Very nice western standard rooms, gorgeous bathroom. Perfect location for the golden rock, located next to the bus shuttle to get you up the mountain. Only bad thing is the breakfast was absolutely pathetic. Buffet set out but no actual buffet, you could pick rice or noodles. Definition of all the gear but no idea!!

Good location. Room and toilet are clean. There was a party upstairs on the date we stayed which is quite noisy.

“Nice hotel”

Stayed here for our visit to the Golden Rock Pagoda. As a group of three we were in a nice bungalow separate from the hotel itself. The breakfast was particularly good. Staff nice and helpful.

The hotel is located in central of town. Very near bus station where we can moving to Golden Rock by local transportation. Recommend you come and stay at this hotel.

“Great location and friendly staff! ”

Close to bus station and pick up to Golden Rock. Ladies shower wasn’t clean. Clogged with hair and bits of plastic. Don’t go to the lavatories downstairs you will be horrified. Rooms are clean, but linen not washed properly, you can see some stains. The biggest pro is that the staff is super nice and can speak English. I had an evening commute to Mandalay and they let me stay in for a few more hours after check out. Overall experience was great.

Convenient location, close to trucks and market. Shared bathroom is okay, separate for male and female. Hotel could be better by improving quality of cleaning. Reception staffs are nice.

Well location next to the truck to go to Golden Rock, and also close to bus station. We were take a bus from WIN EXPRESS which suppose to drop in front of the hotel but they drop us somewhere in the world which we need to take a private taxi 8000 kyat by ourselves. DON'T TAKE WIN EXPRESS

“Bungalow long way from main building and town.”

Was not expecting being so far from town and main hotel. This was very unusual. They did shuttle us back and forth from main hotel but no phone in room so had to arrange in advance. Basically, isolated out of town.

Really close (10 min walk) to the airport so super convenient. Very friendly owners.

“No reason to stay here”

There is no reason to pay the very high room fees in this town. It takes two to three hours to visit golden rock - besides that there's little else to do/see. Stay somewhere close by (Hpa-an or Moulmein) and take the bus. The hotel was ok but very overpriced for what it is. I was hugely disappointed by the whole experience

Everything is clean, even the communed bathroom . Location perfect for visiting the golden rock.

Perfect location for golden rock visit. Room was big clean and comfortable; toilets were down the hall instead of en suite but this was a minor inconvenience. Reasonable value for money. Overall a good stay!

Our stay was ok, bit pricey compared to everywhere else we stayed in Myanmar but guess that's golden rock, can walk to from bus station (15min) Staff were nice, located two min from the Golden Rock mad scramble van loading spot, rooms clean, big share bathroom down hall, no complaints just not the best value for money you will get but other than that thumbs up from us

“as a rest stop for morning before heading to the Kyaiktiyo mountain it is ok but...”

the hotel is right near the bus stop and is very noisy. the room is worn down and the bed linen had stains which freaked out my gf. the breakfast is below average. Beware that the toilet and the shower are communal and not in your room.

The room and towels didn't feel very clean. The shared bathroom wasn't very clean as well. Just right next to the station for the truck going up to Kyaihtiyo Pagoda which is the main reason to stay here. Friendly staff.

Amazing Hotel, more than I expected. Clean and modern rooms (even the shared bath room). Highly recommended if you won't Satz at the top of the hill. Situated quite close to the bus station

“Disappointing.”

This hotel was the most expensive hotel and by far the worst hotel we stayed at in Myanmar. We did not enjoy this hotel for a few reasons. The staff were not very friendly when checking in, the Internet was terrible, the rooms smelt, I don't think the sheets were cleaned from previous guests and the breakfast was very basic. The only up side was the location.

“Location is key here”

Located at the base of Golden Rock, the location can't be beat. Coming from Yangon on a 8:30pm bus and arriving at Golden Rock at 12:30am, I just wanted to wash up and get straight to bed. You literally step off the bus and the hotel is right there (remember to get a bus to Kinpun, which is the mountain base. Kyaiktiyo is about 15 minutes away). I was pleasantly surprised by the facilities, it was absolutely sufficient for a night. AC was on blast when I entered and more than enough room for one person. Having stayed at hostels before, the shared bathroom was fine, it was clean and spacious with great water pressure and plenty of hot water. I've seen much grimier places. I also had breakfast the next morning and ordered the stir fried noodles which was also very tasty! For a hotel breakfast in Myanmar, It exceed my expectations. Staff was extremely friendly and accomodating. Yes, this is more expensive than other places, it isn't a 5 star by any means and people just need to reset expectations. You are definitely paying a premium for the location here which is sandwiched between the trucks that take you up Golden Rock and the bus terminal to take you to other cities. It really can't be beat.
