“Bad Location”
Las Americas shopping mall is 15 mins away (walking distance) from the hotel. You have to cross a multiple busy roads to reach the mall. There is nothing around the hotel. The toilet is not very clean.

“非常に満足”
Rooms were waaaayyyyyy small... a double size spring mattress and a tiny tv. I get it, you get what you paid for but if you’re looking for comfort this place is kind of too cramped... good value for money though. Right by everything in downtown Cancun.. I would recommend this place for people who are smaller and don’t mind a mattress that makes so much noise and you can feel your partner move.

“Deficient partnership with Agoda”
I booked and paid through Agoda, but the hotel claimed that they did not receive my money. I had to pay again and now proceed to reimbursement from Agoda. It was a really frustrating experience, and although the hotel staff was friendly, the negotiation was hard and I felt like they did not know how to handle the situation. If YOU do not know how to deal with a booking website, then DON NOT open this payment option. So I suggest anyone who really want to book this hotel to pay directly to them. Frankly speaking, my stay was satisfactory. The room is clean and the wifi works very well. It is an okay option to stay in the city part of Cancun. Just be aware that it is not in walkable distance to the bus terminal.

“the worst ibis hotel that i have ever stayed”
old an dirty! Bad smell in corridor and room! lack of facility in room, no chair, no glass. Very disappointed.

“Small room but clean, good staff”
clean, quick check in, staffWe arrived at the hotel at 3 a.m, the staff were there to help us with a fast check in. The hotel is in downtown, not the hotel zone. It's close to a shopping mall so every basic necessity can be found. We had a comfortable stay.

“Not honest , overcharge ”
Since my day tour will finish at noon time, I let the front desk notice advance, the staff said could let me late check out without extra charge. But when I came back to check out. The front desk actually charge $250 for late check out. It's horrible. I think it gave the shame to ibis

“A fine chain hotel choice in a convenient location”
location, comfort, valueFor the price level of Cancun, Ibis is good value if you want to stay in the center of town and/or are going to the airport. Rooms are clean, fair-sized and offer standard "cheap business hotel" comfort. Nothing to complain about. A very convenient location for getting to the airport. ADO buses stop right outside, and various airline company shuttles have offices right at the hotel too. Right next to the Americanas mall and lots of decent dining options.

“The most HORRIFIC stay ever”
First of all, this is going to be a very long review, well really more of an incident report of our horrific stay at this hotel in downtown Cancun as I will go into every detail with how the events happened during our entire stay in Cancun and how our problem was treated ghastly by front office staff and very poorly by Agoda. Our booking was for 2 nights, check in Jan. 2, check out Jan. 4 at the Ibis Cancun Centro Hotel. We had a late night flight out of Mexico City to Cancun which was supposedly to arrive in Cancun before midnight on Jan. 2. But the flight was delayed and we arrived at the hotel at 1:30AM on Jan. 3. We were already exhausted and was just in a dire need to retire into our room. We hand over our voucher to the front office staff. He let us wait as he did something with the credit card machine looking at his monitor. It was already taking so long which is not usually the case when we check in (always thru Agoda) at any hotel, so we ask if there was a problem. Then he said he could not charge the booking to the account Agoda had emailed them. So we asked, is that our problem? We have already paid and that voucher in your hand proves that we have indeed paid for the two nights. He said since he couldn't charge the amount to Agoda he needed a guarantee and needs to block a nights rate on our credit card. We were quite hesitant coz at the airport, our credit was declined when we tried to use it to book our taxi to the hotel, which was strange because we just used it to charge for dinner at the airport in Mexico City. But we relented and gave him the credit card because we were so tired to argue and we just needed to collapse into our bed. And again, the card was declined to our dismay. We explained briefly that we are residents of Thailand, and we have had some problems with our credit card being used in Mexico for some reason and we need to contact our bank about this other issue. So we offered to use the dollars that we had, but he said they only ac

“Great budget hotel”
Comfortable, clean and friendly staffIt was our first night in Cancun and we were exhausted after a 12 hour flight so it was perfect as it was cheap, comfortable, clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The WIFI was great, the location was not ideal in the sense there was too much surrounding it as far down the strip but there is Las Americas about 5 minute walk which is a shopping centre so that was good.

가격만큼은 합니다. 방은 넓진 않치만 침대두게 들어가 있구요. 조식은 포함된다고 나왔지만 안되구요 참고하세요 편의점이나 환전소 같은 건물에 있어서 아주편리합니다.

“Einfaches Hotel, falsch durchdacht”
Leider liegt dieses Hotel etwas unbequem an etlichen Kreiseln, die zu überqueren, schon etwas Mut erfordern und auch einen längeren Matsch zum für Touristen interessanten Bus R1 und 2, die zum Strand fahren. Ansonsten sind die Ausstattung und Komfort eher unterdurchschnittlich. Das Bett verschiebt sich zu einfach im Raum, sodass man gegen die Wand gelehnt schon das ganze Bett verschiebt. Es gibt nur eine Steckdose im Zimmer. Die Zimmer bieten nun auch keine Atmosphäre und sind einfach schlicht gehalten, aber eher ungemütlich eingerichtet. Die Dusche ist nett gemeint als Regendusche geplant, aber erfüllt diesen Zweck eher nicht und auch das Licht im Bad sind unangenehme Leuchtstoffröhren. Immerhin war das Wasser in der Dusche hier immer schnell warm. So zum mal unterkommen und schlafen für Trips ist es okay, für diesen Preis aber eher zu teuer.

“Alles, was man für einen ”
Super Zimmer, toller Ausblick, perfektes Preis-/LeistungsverhältnisDas Ibis liegt Downtown relativ günstig gelegen, nahe einer großen Mall und Buslinien (#11 und #26 fahren bis zur Tourist Zone für 8 Pesos), sichere Gegend, der Busbahnhof ADO liegt 5-10 Min. entfernt (ca. 30 Pesos Taxi), direkt neben dem Hotel ist ein Restaurant und ein großer und gut sortierter Supermarkt, das Frühstücksbuffet ist okay, das Zimmer hatte einen schönen Ausblick zum Meer und ist von der Aufteilung her perfekt mit vielen Ablagefächern, Schreibtisch, Nachttisch, bequemes Bett. Nachteil: Fenster kann man nicht öffnen, dafür gibt es aber Klimaanlage. Wifi im Zimmer funktionierte teilweise etwas langsam. Alles in allem ein perfektes Hotel für einen kurzen Aufenthalt in Cancun außerhalb der Touristen-Zone mit einem sehr guten Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis.

Brak ciepłej wody to najpoważniejszy zarzut jaki mam, zimny prysznic po 24 godzinach w podróży to nic przyjemnego. Brak przejściówki do gniazdka elektrycznego więc trzeba się samemu zaopatrzyć, w recepcji hotelu się tym nie przejmują. Śniadanie bardzo słabe, pieczywo czerstwe, jajecznica zasmażona na amen, jak ktoś lubi nachosy na śniadanie to będzie miał co jeść. Pokój czysty.

“My first ibis experince”
Basicly what needed was in room not more.: no refrigerator, paper glases, and barely fit shower took my attebtion. But cleanesness and comfort was ok. Anyway that s fine wit me. In Mexico city I will also stay in Ibis.

Padrão Ibis. Ótimo custo, localização e tem um Walmart no térreo. Segunda vez que nos hospedamos. Café da manhã muito bom.

“Great value for the price! ”
-Great Location downtown -Building aesthetics look modern and inviting - AWESOME customer service, I was very impressed - Small room, but that’s obvious from the pictures and it served it’s purpose for 2 people, for one night. I wouldn’t stretch it for two people past two nights, but that’s a personal preference. Solo travelers would love it. -I’m OCD about cleanliness and caught like 3 spiders in just the less than 12 hours we were there. Freaked me out. The bathroom could have been much cleaner, but it was not disgusting or terrible, just wouldn’t be able to stay past one night.
