Very friendly and helpful staff, especially Mr Shuwau from the Anchorage Bar. We fulfilled our dream to swim with baby shark at the snorkel location he recommended.

“simply amazing”
The perfect getaway with elder children, great on site facilities, so many dining options and most of all the staff are amazing. Very close boat ride to and from the airport. A must for all bucket lists, thank you Sheraton, we will be back again sometime.

“Return to Full Moon after 30yrs”

“Never again”
If you are interested in paying a lot, to stay in a resort with small kids everywhere, then this is the place for you. Staff friendly, but overall service is not good. We booked for 3 adults, which the listing says it could, but were presented with an extra person charge with the explanation that Agoda made a mistake and I had to talk to them. It's the resort/group themself, that handles the listings.... But we paid to not ruin our holiday. We paid the highest and got the only villa with out direct sea view from the bedroom. Also please notice, that there is almost a constant massive wind of that side of the island. We feel completely robbed and will never return. Their restaurants is also so-so. They clearly focus on families with full-board. It's like sitting in a massive cafeteria with kids everywhere. Not a pleasant stay and we wish we wanted to leave after the 2nd night.

“The best service in the Maldives”
You are guaranteed to have the best holiday ever. The hotel and facilities are beautiful, the beaches and water look like paradise. Lots of activities, we loved paddle boarding, kayaking and snorkeling every day (thanks Zayaan). We also did the sunset dolphin cruise, which was INCREDIBLE! The gym was top notch, with a wide variety of brand new equipments. But was really sets it apart is the people and their amazing service! Thank you Niki, Eva, Shurufa and Ayana - you truly made our stay beyond special and memorable!

“mosquito storm”
There were so many mosquitoes that we ended up fled this hotel .Such a shame of the internationally renowned hotel group . It's really below it's standard. I talked to staff and the response I got was, please forgive this is a tropical area. Hotels should take the initiative to provide mosquito coils and anti-mosquito liquid in rooms and public areas instead of passive offering insufficient amounts of anti-mosquito cream only after the guest being bitten all over the body. The government is building massive communities visible to the naked eye, destroying the scenery and vacation mood. The underwater coral reefs are all transplanted and are not natural scenery, which is disappointing. However, there are still fish schools, but it is not worth spending the money to see inplanted coral reefs. Conclusion : Staff are very welcoming and friendly. Location is super easy accessible from the airport. There are tons of better options to explore the beauty of Maldives.

“Best place for honeymoon”
Its amazing in every word. but be aware if you dont get the full board booking food can be expensive. The only thing we missed is a shop where we can by a bag of chips or some fizzy drinks for the night. else its all amazing.

“Best experience ever”
I had the best time staying in Sheraton Maldives. All the staff are warm, friendly and polite. They have the best breakfast and dinner buffet from the feast. The rooms are so homey and having the room with the pool is one of the best experience I ever had. I highly recommend this hotel.

“Beautiful but expensive compared to Caribbean ”
The island was beautiful and the grounds are also beautiful. White sand beaches and a nice pool. However everything is priced in US dollars and the food and activities are very expensive. $90 per person for buffet dinner, $150 per person for 2 hours of snorkeling trip. For us the Caribbean is closer and similar but definitely more cost effective.

“Dreamy resort”
such a marvelous resort.Lush green island with plenty of tropical vegetation. Prestine white sand beaches . A lot of entertaining complementary water sports activities.We stayed in a beach villa with beautiful sea view. The food was delicious with a lot of variety.the resort staff were charming and always ready to help.transfers from and to the airport were swift and comfortable. I strongly recommend this resort.

“Pick up speed boat and return to male”
Sheraton all was perfect only 1 suggestion to improve in reliable speed boat Our ride on Jan 11 from Sheraton to Male airport was not good experience Our speed boat was stranded in ocean water waves were rough and engine did not start drivers of speed boat tried their best 3 to 4 times to switch in off engines It was not pleasant experience please ensure speed boat engines are tested prior to departure for all passengers

The place was overall really good, except the private pool was not temperature controlled and the food in the restaurants around was mediocre at best

“Good for one night stay ”
Near the airport, good for people who don’t have many days. The room is nice, but the alarm rings three times in the early morning, so we didn’t sleep well.

“Nice Resort”
Resort is close to Male Airport. Massive place with 176 Rooms. Excellent service. Breakfast spread is good, juices and fruits are very good. Lots of varieties of breads. Indian breakfast like Dosa available. Rooms are costly but Maldives Resorts are costly. Dinner buffet 90 USD per person is too pricey. The place is quiet in evenings. They have a counter at Male Airport where a person escorts you to boat, its free shared boat with other passengers. Ideal for those who do not want to go too far. A couple of days in this resort and few days at Maafushi will be a good combination.

We canceled two places and finally got here, but it was totally worth it... amazing place, great location, great deal... best place if you have young kids...

“Best nearest resort to Male airport ”
It's located 15 minutes by speed boat from Velana Airport...very clean , full water sports facilities, clean beach , delicious food , and good amenities. It's worth to stay in comparison with other resorts and go for this without a second thought .

“nice and peaceful stay”
stayed here for 4 nights. the good - speed boat transfer was fast, just 15-20mins from the airport - very clean waters, island small enough to cover on a short walk, hence walking to the restaurants wasnt an issue - we took the snorkeling tour and the dolphin tour and enjoyed both of them. worth the money. - very nice and helpful staff watch out for - we took the full boarding option, in hindsight we should have taken a breakfast only or half board option; a dinner ala carte could have been cheaper - though it is full board, it doesnt include drinks other than some limited options such as watermelon, orange juice etc. - the side of the island we were in faces Male; though they have tried to obstruct the view of the city by having some trees etc, if you want a 'middle of the ocean' feeling, you may be disappointed - the staff suggested we take the 10am boat on the check out day for a flight that was scheduled for 12:20. it was a good thing we didnt listen to them and took the 9am boat. it was utter madness in the airport with super long lines for check in and immigration.

“Best Airport Hotel Available”
We were there in transit for 24h! We have stayed at both an Airport Hotel in MLE, and now the Sheraton Full Moon, and this is by far the better option, for the same price. You get the “island” feel for the Maldives, and super easy and quick transfer boat to get to MLE. Would 100% recommend to anyone who needs to be close to MLE, without being in MLE.

Even after making full payment… after reaching to Hotel they have demanded 230 dollars/ per person / night… be careful. We lost nearly half of the day and humiliated and finally paid…

“It was an OK stay - 3 stars”
Pros: 1. Clean and Friendly 2. Nice resort to go with toddlers 3. Nice place to do water sports Cons: 1. Very expensive for any activity specially the SPA 2. Buffet food was below average to bad, whereas ala-carte was very good. Very confused on how the food can be at extreme ends. One expects a better buffet spread (including the taste) from a 5 star resort and that is very disappointing. If the food is good it would have made for 5 star experience. Can be definitely visited, maybe others find the food appealing than us.

“Amazing resort”
We loved the ocean view villas. It was serene. Amazing staff clean property so much to do, a week looked so little time. Restaurants could be better. Sea salt was a disappointment for my date night with my wife. Anchorage saved our day every day. It was the best restaurant so far to hang out with great views and bar and their pizza was amazing.

“Enjoy the location of Sheraton Maldives specially by family travellers”
Please do not opt this hotel for your honeymoon destination but It is more suitable for family or group travellers, It is near to Male so you can save more bugs on transportation.Please read hotel policy carefully before you plan to visit.There is no exclusive amenities are available. Although the consumable are premium in class. You can also find a tasty indian cuisine at "masala hut" but on premium price tag.

“Excellent Resort with good value for money”
Several points that make this an absolutely great resort: 1. They have complimentary airport pick-up and drop off via speed boat. Most other resorts would charge you extra for this service 2. They have free drinking water everywhere (your room, restaurants, bar, etc) - Maldive resorts are known for expensive water but Sheraton got this covered. 3. Awesome facilities in the room and great hospitality. They have the best staff

“The photos in Agoda site not same the real.”
The photos in Agoda site for the water bungalow vials are showing it’s included a private pool but this is not correct where there are two types of bungalows (With and without) and this is not mentioned clearly in the website. I made an argument with the staff in the reception in the hotel and I tried to call Agoda without any response. It’s vey painful what’s happened to me in my birthday and Hopefully it will not happen to someone else.

“Best resort in Maldives for New Year Night.”
Three things no other resort can beat Sheraton in Maldives. 1) They had the best dance party, huge buffet dinner and fantastic fireworks. 2) The Staff was so nice and very facilitative. 3) This is 10 minutes speedboat ride from Male Airport. We will come again.

“An Interesting Island and Resort”
Everything is good except the location of our house is a bit far (sea view room with pool). We have to call the golf car service every time when we go to restaurant. Staff is helpful and the environment is beautiful.
