“A paradise!”

The facilities are wonderful, clean and neat and the enviroment is kid's friendly . The kids club is great! The only thing is that you have to be aware of the sea plane timings, we had to do some last minute changes in the itinerary, but thanks God everything went fine. Really worth every penny.

resort experience was excellent in total, however, the food experience was a bit less than both either one and only or anantara kihava. pros: 1 good island size 2 good kids club and activity 3 good value compare with others 4 they let us extend the checkout till 3pm without asking them 5 deluxe water villas has pretty much privacy 6 the room size and furniture was good specially the bathrooms 7 SPA was one of the best in Maldives 8 don't miss Tribal buffet cons: 1 long time waiting in the airport approximately 2:20 min 2 huge pillows which makes it very difficult to sleep 3 food should improve a bit 4 it seems that the staff were new, lack of experience 5 we asked many times to provide us with bicycles and after two days they sent us broken bicycle. also the bicycle doesn't have your villa number so some one might take your bicycle without knowing 6 i stayed in both beach villa and water villa, and the beach villa was full of insects

“A Gem in Maldives that is second to none”

This has to be one of the most professional, exotic, dream destinations on the planet. The infrastructure, quality of workmanship along with landscaping and facilities blew my mind (usually i stay at St Regis,Niyama rated on par). We had a personal butler (i would like to call him PA) named Jusoof (hope specling is correct) Jusoof made the trip so amazing and no request was to difficult for him, no matter what we asked Jusoof could accommodate. All food establisments on the island have a massive wide range of tasteful delights (extremely fresh).. Even better was the choices for alcohol selection... was able to purchase 30 year macallan whiskey shots while smoking a cigar as the sun set (heaven) . Wife has Dom perignon ! Tribal restaurant is a must... the Service is top notch! Food was fanstastic! Tribal restaurant should be something expected in a big city be here it is in Niyama just mind blowing..ambiance food everything was just mind blowing..... Not the cheapest place in the world but have to say money well spent ! a definite bucket list place (but i do hope to go back) Do rent the jets for 1 hour with guide, took us to secluded sand dune ( the color of the water being turquiose will blow your mind as its heaven on earth) we saw dolphins, sharks, rays and sea turtles... the guide that we had made sure we would see so much and his hard efforts paid off.. ( this is done by Float team) hats off to the them....i can't compliment this place enough, you have to go and see for yourself.... The seaplane is part of the fun while not cheap well worth it...,45 minutes seems like 5 minutes as the view is breath taking....its a MUST MUST MUST....

It is so impressive, everything is perfect and make us an unforgetable honeymoon travel. We stay there 4 day and 3 nights, times flies, still not enjoyed. Water sports is so nice, like snokling, sunset fishing and dophlin cruise. We will come again in the future. It is a place worthing being there.

“Great Honey Moon Trip But Not Perfect Ending”

Special thanks to Scalet who is our personal assistant during our stay. Great breakfast at Epicure. Having lunch at Subsix is also one of the best experience, we had nice food under the sea but it's a bit expensive. Dinner at Nest is remarkable, we had very nice Thai food cooked by real Thai chef. So the taste is similar to what we have in Thailand. Quite, romantic, and best for relax. Not really for activities. At the end of the trip, we had a very bad experience with The Maldivian Seaplane because they delayed to pick us on time to the airport, so we missed our flight back home. Seaplane company treat us very poor. Let us waiting for their solution for many hours from noon until evening, and also gave us a very poor room to stay overnight. It's not even a hotel but just an inn! Wasted our time and gave us a new flight ticket to go back home on the next day. No other things to make us feel better. We have to find our own food to be survive. Again so bad with the Maldivian Seaplane.

Staffs are all very friendly and helpful, especially Chilli and his brother Dim. They have 3 restaurants, 2 of them in the island itself, Epicure and Tribal, the wagu beef in Tribal is a must try! They have buffet in certain days sometimes they have Niyama night and the staff will perfom dance and play drum, and another fine dinning restaurant is called Edge, you need to make advance reservation and they will send you there by boat, that's about 5mins away from the resort, and after your dinner

“My stay in Niyama Aquum”

The first day we arrival in the night we when to the beach to try the free oyster.. very yummy and we also book for two hours pvt boat USD600 for seeing Dolphin and snorkling. the diving center told us 90% you can see the dolphin. if true so many dolphin in the big sea. I also love the girl singing at the beach in the night near the Restaurants. is very relax and enjoy when you seat in the beach and have some drink listen her singing.

We enjoyed most the romantic settings of the resort as well the dining, it's not really good for water sports and activities as the prices are quite high compared to what other resorts are offering.

it was a wonderful stay at Niyama. Delux water studio is super with jacuzzi and pool. even the water studio is excellent (no big difference from dulex. just no jacuzzi only). room is spacious with daily water supply. coffee machine. pop corn machine. free ice cream daily. we have bed decoration as well daily . so sweet . the seafood BBQ buffet on very Wed is nice. if you are not under HB or FB. you can try. HB and FB will enjoy 30% off. the pizza is also nice. it 's fresh homemade pizza. you can choose your favorite topping if you like to. enjoyed few free programs like Yoga, zumba glass. the spa is realxing but just pricy. night fishing is a bit disapointted as 7 people only caught onely one small fish. can try night club at Subsix. it's not bag. quite adorable.enjoy one or two drinks is enough. breakfast is brilliant . last to say the seaplane is really more than we expected. USD518/way for a couple. it costs us USD1036 for two way transfer by seaplane. our flight from SG to MLE is just SGD1425 for us.well... have to say a great view at seaplane. we enjoyed the holiday there.

“luxury resort has surprisingly lovely staff, ”

we forced ourselves to stay up later than we usually do in order to go to Subsix, the underwater club - glad we did; Wu Chang was the dj,really fun. Breakfast buffet is very nice, dinner buffet was good (not great)although the dinner buffest did offer grilled fish, which was extremely fresh. The 2 ala carte restaurants at the resort are VERY expensive - we didn't go: Tribal is mostly meat which we don't eat. Staff was truly wonderful. Even the 2 women who work the deli were lovely, their sandwiches delicious and ice cream...so good.

My stay at Niyama was something else, amazing, you get in touch with nature and spectacular views of the ocean while you conserve full comfort and class, 100% recommended everything since arriving to the airport is to enjoy, with and excellent service 24 hrs/ day.

my husband and i went for a honeymoon with niyama by per aquum. we loved our stays sooooo much and we hope we can be back (abit pricey for us). the staff over here are super friendly and everyone of them greated us whenever they see us. places are very clean, very nice food (even dine-in), and we have got complementary dinner on our honeymoon visit. my husband and i had great time with niyama, and they gave us a memorable honeymoon. i would highly recommend this to all of you!! if you are going on a diving trip i dont recommend this place, as the diving sites are not really interesting.

excellent food, fine dining, lovely atmosphere. this hotel is well on its way to matching a w hotel. unique dining experience in the middle of the ocean. night club underwater... tho club is always empty its a lovely spot to have a drink. there is an abundance of water sports and activities. highly recommend taking jet skis out and asking your guide to take you dolphin hunting as opposed to go on the boat. amazing we saw about 30! only thing about this resort is the snorkelling on site is not spot on. we had previously stayed at a resort a little closer to male say 15 mins boat ride and that area is infamous for snorkelling as lots of beautiful fish. however the water is so beautiful and the sand is so white, at this resort you can also go out to see dolphins which you wouldnt be able to do near male. as for snorkelling i understand the hotel does island trips to a nearby sand bank where the reefs are just as beautiful rooms were amazing!

“Postcard Paradise”

i just returned from my most memorable holiday at niyama. it was a holiday which will not be easy to forget. i proposed to my gf during my stay and everything else - the room, the service and the food - complimented this beautiful memory. my gf and i stayed at the water villa with pool for 4 nights. this being our first trip to maldives, i was worried about how things would pan out. however, it turned out that i should not have worried one bit for we received vip treatment all the way. upon arrival at the airport, we were greeted by a niyama representative and brought to wait for the seaplane at the niyama lounge. the lounge was well-equipped with drinks and snacks (chips, sandwiches). after a short wait, we were ushered to the seaplane to the resort paradise. the staff at the resort greeted us warmly and we got a buggy ride to our water villa. the room was spectacular. you can really trust the pictures that have been posted by the resort management in here. the pool was of a good size for lounging under the sun, the bed was very comfortable and the mini-bar was great too. rooms come equipped with a bose media player with lots of blockbusters all free of charge. the floors may have a very slight condensation at times but that is to expected when your balcony opens up to the indian ocean. the food was great too. we were on bed & breakfast and wished that we were on half-board. that is because food is a tad pricey there. but you do get what you pay for. seafood was always fresh and you always leave a meal happy. the staff at the resort deserves plaudits too for giving soul to this beautiful place. everyone greeted us warmly with a smile and was always willing to make our trip better. staff are able to strike a balance between being laid-back enough to have a chat yet attentive enough to our needs. niyama is truly highly recommended!

This resort is new in Maldives, which means you can expect new hotel hardware. However, the vol of fishes are dissapointing. Hope it will get better sooner.
