“プライベート、リラックス、自然”
清潔、目の前の大自然、さざ波おそらくシンガポールからのハイインカムの方々が好んでくるリゾート。よくいる雰囲気に合わない慌ただしい外国人の方々はおらず、本当に心行くまで自然を堪能しつつリラックスできるプライベートビーチ。

“落ち着いた隠れリゾート”
サービス、景色、海のきれいさサービスがよく、よいスパもあり、落ち着いた雰囲気のリゾートでした。ビーチからシュノーケーリングできる範囲で珊瑚礁や魚があんなにたくさん見れる海は初めてでした。大都会の騒がしい生活を離れてのんびりするには最適の場所でした。大変気に入っており、また次回訪問できるのを楽しみにしています。

“新しく綺麗なホテル”
設備・備品が良くスタッフの対応も親切丁寧。電話がDIGIのみ受信のためMaxisの携帯電話は使えなかった。しかし、海岸線を約20分ほど歩くと受信できるため、ホテルのスタッフの案内で確認することができた。途中はジャングルのような険しい道もあったが、逆にトレッキングが楽しめたので良かった。

“スタッフは、陽気で親切。シャレーの概観から想像するより、部屋自体がやや手狭な印象。”
ホテルがまだ新しく、清潔。スタッフのサービス、清潔な部屋などは問題無いが、ホテル自体がオープンしたばかりで、施設が未完成なところもあるようです。 ホテル内に売店は無く、サービスの飲料水以外（ペットボトル2本）の食料品は、ボートで隣村まで買出しに行かないと、何も手に入りません。 村からは孤立したシャレーのため、有料のボートで隣村まで足を延ばさないと、ただビーチで寝そべるだけとなります。因みに、食事もすべてホテル内（現地にしてはかなり高めの値段）でとることになります。 島内で選り取りの観光をするより、じっくりと羽を伸ばす滞在型の方にお勧めです。

“Beautiful private beach”
Enjoyed our stay to the fullest. Its a beautiful private beach. Rooms are clean and neat. Would suggest you bring your own titbits or snacks or buy it in kg. Genting before taking your ferry to Tunamaya. Good place for snorkeling. Staff are very helpful.

“Partial Family Villa Room 207”
We recently stayed at Tunamaya Beach & Spa Resort in a Partial Family Villa and had a wonderful experience overall. The location is absolutely stunning — nestled between lush jungle and a quiet beach with clear, turquoise waters. It feels like a true tropical retreat, perfect for those wanting to unwind and disconnect. We took Ferry from Mersing Jetty and alighted at Genting Jetty. From there,they picked us up via speedboat. Our villa was cozy and well-maintained, with a queen bed and a single bed that fit our small family comfortably. The room had all the essentials: air-conditioning, hot water, mini-fridge, and a small veranda with a lovely garden view (and partial sea view). The bathroom was clean and unfortunately the water pressure (shower) was weak. Service was warm and accommodating. The staff were friendly, especially at reception (the Indian Guy) and the restaurant, always ready to help. Not to forget, the Malay guy who fetched us from the jetty. However, note that there’s no 24-hour front desk, so it's good to plan around that and save their WhatsApp number. The food at the resort was good — breakfast had a fair variety, and we enjoyed their fried bee hoon and the sweet potatoes. Lunch and dinner menus are available but we didn't try. We bought our own ready meals.

“Fantastic place, average food.”
For quiet escape from city life this is the perfect place. Location is top notch. Service experience in terms of welcoming guests and ensuring all facilities provided, it seems to be finely run. Cottages might be bit old over time but still they are very well kept. Things to improve : 1. Can do better with food and menu design as it does not justify the price at all. If you are good at local cuisine then please maximize that in your menu. Especially the food ordered outside usual time felt not up to the bare minimum standard. 2. Snorkelling tour arranged was too casual. They left us without any life jacket. Especially with kids not able to swim with confidence made experience not so memorable. It could be an honest mistake but you need to ensure these mistakes don't happen as they tarnish the reputation.

“Amazing place, truly recommend ”
Had a great time with my family exploring Tioman. We went hiking to Mukut, a charming little kampung just 45 minutes from the resort—such an interesting and beautiful place! Every corner of the resort was stunning. Huge thanks to the staff, especially Jega, for sharing so much about Tioman and making our stay memorable. It was my first visit, but definitely not my last!

“Really nice stay ”
We spent really good times here, place is wonderful and staff is very kind. Just a pity to leave really early cause ferry times, they’ll took you 1h30 before you ferry leave so not much time to enjoy on the day you leave.

“Great value for money”
After a week at the luxury Anantara Desaru we made a stop at Tunamaya, we knew to set our expectations accordingly to what we paid. However for the price, we think the place was clean, relatively basic but still has things a hotel room has to offer. We came here to snorkel and we were not disappointed, we explored at different time and tides and saw moray eels, many reef sharks and sea turtles right outside tunamaya. We didn't join the snorkeling trip and think it's unnecessary. There is not really option to leave the island for restaurants , we were relieved to find the only restaurant offered pretty good food. But because of that we would not stay more than 3 nights if we return. We were told the bridge Y the beach connecting the villas and the beach front sun deck were damaged during the last monsoon season, they started repairing it when we were there and hopefully we will return to see it looks better, honestly without knoing that we thought the place looked ruined and was the biggest disappointment. Overall a magical place, Tioman transfer is chaotic but not the hotel's fault. We will return.

“Comfy but dated”
It’s an interesting location and I guess 10 years ago it would have looked better than it does now.. it is a bit run down. But if you are not looking for a facility filled resort but something cozy for your snorkeling and diving adventures, then this is a good option. The staff tried their best but looked a bit overwhelmed some times

“A quiet family friendly beach resort”
I love everything about this resort despite some of the patio being destroyed by the monsoon. The beach is rather clean. Very easy to spot fishes from feet level.. The hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant serves delicious food but is quite pricy. I do have a little setback on the restaurant crews/waiters. They are truly under trained. Not able to handle peak hours and waiting time during peak dinner hours is sometimes more than 1hr. And service recovery are only on selected race and nationality. There were no service recovery for super long wait for food for my family because I was calm, but other race and nationality got some beer free or fruits free from the Indian guy/manager with ridiculously ugly white loafers. Didn't complain then because I don't want to spoil my holiday mood. Still not convince if I should return or recommend people here..

“In need of a renovation and upkeep ”
Positives are for the location and the staff that may save the hotel. Otherwise the facilities of the hotel are very run down to the point of being dangerous, loose slabs on the stairs, benches with wood planks missing, stagnant water everywhere, monkey droppings not being cleaned for days... the path to Mukut village needs to be refurbished. If you are thinking on a small tour to the kampung or the waterfall you may get stuck by the high tide and may have to swim back. The hotel didn't take care of the beach in front, with lots of rubbish in front of the broken sundeck. Danger tape everywhere is not welcoming. But the corals were beautiful.

“Wonderful Location”
This resort was on a beautiful location with the forest and mountain behind it and a beautiful sea in front. The hotel has facilities such as restaurant, play/reading area, spa and pool. They also provide boat services to dive or snorkel. You can also catch ferry to go to other location in the island. Overall I had a good time staying in this resort. I went to other villages and went hiking to the waterfall. I also hike the hill behind the resort. The only complain I have was the spa and diving rate was more expensive in this resort in comparison with other resort in Pulau Tioman.

“3 days 2 night ”
We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. The room was super clean and definitely value for money. However, the restaurant needs a lot of improvement. For example, our pasta came with very little gravy, yet we were charged premium prices. The service was also quite slow our food took more than 30 minutes to arrive, and the kids order Fish And Chip came an additional 10 minutes later. Over the 3 days, we spent over RM400++ on meals (excluding breakfast), which felt overpriced for the quality and service received. On the positive side, the staff were very friendly, both at the front office and in the restaurant. The intern in particular was very accommodating and followed up promptly on our food request. It would also be great if the resort could consider opening a small shop selling snacks, soft drinks, and other basic items for added convenience.

“Great Location, but Room for Improvement”
I recently stayed at Tunamaya Beach Resort in Tioman with my two young kids, and while the location is absolutely stunning—calm, peaceful, and perfect for a relaxing getaway—the overall experience left much to be desired. The food options were incredibly limited, and it was frustrating to find such a lack of variety at a resort. The biggest disappointment, however, was the service. When I asked for drinking water, I was told to go to the lobby and fetch it myself from the water purifier. This felt extremely inconvenient, especially considering the reception closes by 11pm. It was not something I expected from a place that markets itself as a premium resort. While the location and cleanliness were good, these issues seriously impacted my stay, and I believe the resort needs to rethink its service standards and food offerings to match its beautiful setting.

“uncomfortable”
It sounds like this place has a nice environment and staff, but it is really disappointing in terms of some facilities and food. The bed sheets were problematic, especially with lice, which was really uncomfortable. The lack of duty-free shops and dry food options also made it feel inconvenient. Dinner had to wait until 7pm to order, which felt inflexible. Overall, although the beach and service were great, other aspects of the experience may indeed affect the overall satisfaction. I hope they can improve these issues and give guests a better experience!

All is good. Just note due to location (pte beach accessible only by boat), you will be 'stuck' at night. So just take note for those who loves to walk around the Kampung area at night, you can't. Other than that, magnificent view. Good service.

Nice cozy place. Some corals in front of the resort beach, but otherwise a bit rocky. Food quality was ok. Hope there were more selection and more authentic Chinese cuisine. A bit disapointed with the food choice and pricing.

Secluded resort but nice. Stayed @ beach front villa. Managed to do sea fishing, snorkelling & hiking within the 4D3N stay. Staff at the restaurant was friendly! Just need to be careful of the monkeys!

“Idyllic Tunamaya”
The location was mesmerizing, I love the isolation vibe the place gave me, staffs were friendly and helpful, I love long walks and it was a long, lovely walk to the next village if you want to explore more!

“Two night stay at Tunamaya”
Our stay was Tunamaya was pleasant and comfortable. The resort and the beach is very clean and beautiful. The room is spacious enough for 2 adults and 1 kid. They can do better with the food though. Food was ok since it was just for two days.

“自然いっぱいの素敵なコテージホテル”
空港からホテルまで、水上タクシー（別料金）で送迎があり、エメラルドグリーンの海と南国の木々と並ぶコテージが絵になる素敵なホテルでした。部屋も綺麗で、コテージから海まですぐ行ける裏口もありました。子供たちは大はしゃぎです。パンやスナックを買える売店がいっさいなく、ある程度持ち込んだ方がいいと思います。２日目にお店の人たちが買い出しに空港近くのメインビレッジに行く船に無料で同乗させてもらい、免税のお店でスナックやお酒を買うことができました。 夜は満点の星、ベッドでは波音が聞こえ、自然たっぷりのリゾートです。スタッフの方も皆親切で、またぜひ訪れたいです！（長男が船酔いしてしまったときにも、ご迷惑をおかけしたのに、スタッフ総勢で嫌な顔ひとつせず助けてくれました）マッサージも気持ちよく、子連れでゆっくりするには最適のホテルだと思います。裏山のジャングルトレッキングは子連れには少しハードでしたが、小学生くらいのお子さんだと冒険心をくすぐられて楽しい想い出になると思います！
