“Budget friendly stay”
The hotel is very much budget friendly, located at Pantai Tengah. They do motorbike rental too. It gets hot in the afternoon as they do not have ac (at least in my room)

“Unpleasant Room”
The exterior setting was quite nice, but the room was not comfortable to stay during the mid day, it was super warm eventhough the aircond at a lowest temperature!

A very unique experience and worth doing for a night or two. Was wonderful waking up to the chirp of the birds. Wouldn’t stay in the tents longer than 2 nights though. The beds were incredibly uncomfortable.

“Comfy short stay”
Our second stay at T star, this time just an overnight stopover before catching the ferry the next morning. It's very affordable, basic and comfortable enough. The site is beautiful with lots of greenery, but also loads of signage and advertising for additional things you can pay for to make your stay more comfortable. A few minutes walk away from the beach. Staff are very helpful and friendly and we would return. Bathroom smelt a bit mouldy unfortunately, there isn't good ventilation in there.

Love the surrounding enviroments. The room (upper level) are best for view towards other unit/scenery inside the compound but monkeys are all around esp in the morning. The facilities are modest. Everything was good for solo traveller like me.

“Tent not chalet”
False advertising. I booked a challet but received a tent. The tent was surprisingly good quality. I would have stayed until I saw the toilet/shower facility. Grim. I paid extra and got a chalet. About 60mr. No aircon only fan. It gets hot. But the bathroom was nice

“Very Hot During Day”
The room is freaking hot during daytime. We set the a/c with the lowest temperature in hope it can bring down the heat but it doesnt help at all.

nice place in the ''jungle'' with frogs, monkeys etc. beach around 5 minutes walk but through a hotel, main beach and city centre bit far, around half an hour of walk, not much eating places around. no hot water in the shower, facilities such as a hair dryer, blanket!, fridge, mosquito killer etc need to be payed separately. car rental service in the facility, fairly good wifi

I really love this place. If u are a nature lover this place very suit to you relax. I stay upper standard aircond room so i can see nice view but too many monkey around my room😅 when i put my food on outside table and monkey come steel so u just need lock ur door n window. Overall, its great value. I really recommended 👍🏻

“A Quiet Retreat for Nature Lovers”
The place caught me with its serene ambience. It's a perfect place for nature lovers and those looking for a quiet retreat. It's not that far from Cenang Beach with nearby convenient stores and restaurants. You can easily rent a bike or car from T Shoppe in front of the place at discounted price. The place is very quiet at night surrounded by nature sounds - crickets, frogs, etc. Such a soothing atmosphere. You might need to talk in hushed voice though cause it is so quiet! Those staying upstairs might need to be careful as the wooden floor might squeak and disturb those staying downstairs. I stayed on September. You won't be needing an air-cond cause it's quite chilly at night but it can be quite warm during the day. Overall, a relaxing place to stay. Would definitely recommend this place. Love it!

“So far so good”
I feel like going for a luxurious camping! Bed inside the tent! Very nice and great idea! The receptionist need to improve her people skills, be more friendly and should put at least a little smile.😄 Overall is great! Definitely will return and stay here again!👍🏽

“For young couple and nature lover”
Had chance to try both upper level and ground level room. For me, just take the ground level room, value for money and no hassle to climb stairs. Oh, and spacious toilet too.

“Living by the Nature”
If you are a nature lover you will love this place as they have incorporated a forest kind of environment, and I would love to stay in the tents which they provide as they are inside the bird sanctuary which gives me a very good feel. Outside the bird sanctuary they have normal cottages kind of rooms and you have the choice to choose either a standard fan room or an air conditioned room.

“Best budget accommodation in the area.”
The bed was a too soft, and the room a bit small and the septic smell out the back door not pleasant. It was hot in March so try to get a room where the afternoon sun isn’t on the veranda otherwise you need the fan all day and night. Watch out for the monkeys..they’ll steal everything. Despite these issues we’d still return as the value, location and staff are really good. The gardens are very inviting and the bird area really wonderful.

“Excellent value and near the beach”
The tents are cool at night, verging on being slightly chilly. This was something that was a great relief, having spent weeks in tents in the tropics melting in the heat. Overall, its great value, far cheaper than any other place in the locality.

“Five stars for T Star.”
Quaint Malaysian style accomodation, friendly helpful staff, self service for towels, toilet rolls and water so no invasion of privacy. Quiet location generally, in that as it’s so quiet anyone talking at night the sound carries. Near to fantastic beach, bars and resteraunts. You have to like nature, has nice gardens, ponds of fish and frogs. Never leave anything on veranda as wild monkeys will steal it, and there are quite a few that live in the forest behind chalets. Scooter and car rental on site.

“非常に満足”
Since the accommodation was constructed using wood, during the day time, the room became too hot for us to stay in there. While the air conditioning barely made it during the day to provide any comfort. Otherwise, all aspects are great!

“Best places to stay and relaxed”
Suitable for whom nature lover. Nice place to stay for long term. But the others side, please complete checking before guest check in. My mom room complete with soap and shampoo but my room not provided. Already requested but until check out no soap and shampoo. Kindly recheck it.

“Great quiet location, calm and very peaceful”
Absolutely love the place, really quiet without children running and screaming like other hotels we’ve been to. 3minutes walk to the beach and bike rental is just at the front of the hotel. Super convenient and value for money. Definitely will come back here!
