We had a fantastic stay! A lovely resort with nice clean rooms and a small pool area. Very good breakfast for any taste. Perfect for families and travellers enjoying a calm stay a little bit from the city centre. Ms Noi and the rest of the straff took very good care of us, helping us with every request we had. We can really recommend Paradise Resort!
Dear Tobias Thank you so much for your every good feedback. we are really appreciated and happy to heard this. Best regards Ms Noi
A little far from town centre but not a problem with shuttle and tuktuk.
Dear Bardin Thank you so much for your very feedback we are really appreciate. Hope to see you again. Best regards Ms Noi
Too far from city
This is an older property and sits right on the river-very pretty. The pool is nice and there are free bike rentals. The problem is that it is quite far from the downtown area where you want to be and the traffic is heavy on the roads. There is a free shuttle a few times a day but you end up trying to get back and forth a lot if you are there to spend time downtown.
Spent 3 nights here. The hotel is simple but very nice, staff were very helpful, my kids loved the pool and was within an easy tuk tuk drive of the main part of Luang Prabang. This had the added bonus that the hotel was in a nice peaceful area. Very happy to recommend to others,we had one of the family villas which was very spacious.
Dear Mr Mark Thank you so much for your good review. it's really valuable to our hotel. Best regards Ms Noi
This place is beautiful, unbelievable location with fantastic views. I paid for the most expensive room type (which was only about 1,200 baht- a room of this caliber would have been triple that price in Thailand) and it was fantastic. I will be staying here again when I return for a weekend trip. Staff are so friendly and helpful, free bikes and airport transfers. They will even drop you into the center for free on their shuttle bus if you ask them. Plus they have peacocks!
Dear customer thank you so much for your very good review. it would be value to us.
Highly recommended. Thanks to Ms Noi and the whole team. Breakfast could be better tho. The sausages were hard.
Dear Ashton Thank you so much for your very good review it is really usefully and important to our business. Many thanks again.
Lovely main woman staff very helpful, young guy actively unhelpful.
Staffs are very friendly, location is great and room is very spacious. Will book again if visit Luang Prabang again.
The place is empty, quiet and on our first night here, we got shocked because the pool was warm! And to make it even more perfect, we could see so many stars as the sky was clear! It was beautiful and nice. However, the second night I got annoyed because there were some guest checking in at about 2am and made sooo much noise that we had to go and complain. They attended to our complain by asking them to stay quiet. The next day they came and apologize again. Overall it was okay but the warm swimming pool is what I like most.
Very kindness and successful.
Pros- 1. Peaceful location near to many attractions and town 2. Free biCycle facility and pickup and drop to airport. 3. Friendly staff 4. Rooms were good 5. Food was tastier. Thanks to the loving cook there. Smart lady! Only discomfort as below: 1. First day and on sunday we didnot get food for dinner as cook was on leave. Had food from outside resort. In one occassion, cook left early and we had to try outside the resort, all near by hotels closed.. But then they brought her back as per our request. 2. Food was costly. For example for a chicken fried rice that was 30000 kip in airport, 45000 kip was charged in resort. 3. Food variety less for breakfast. 4. Swimming pool was small. Overall it is satisfactory. Staffs were good and friendly. People are good, so It is only about small small provements and corrections they need to take.
Peaceful hotel a little outside town. Free shuttle in several times a day, but you need to pay for a tuktuk back. Free bikes also, but ride in is not flat. Comfortable beds. Clean rooms but bathroom had a few issues and is looking 'tired'. Average breakfast. Big pool, always warm. Excellent staff, especially Miss Noi.
Dear Gillian Thank you so much for your very good review. we are really appreciated we are looking forward to welcome you to visit us again in the future. Have a wonderful day to you Best regards Ms Noi and all team
The hotel is clean and well maintained. Staff are friendly and always happy to help. A young lady at reception called Noi was very good indeed, nothing was too much trouble for her. She did everything asked of her and always with a smile. She is an excellent ambassador for the resort. The only down side were the Chinese guests, they were disgusting and ignorant. They took pleasure in coughing up phlegm and spitting it straight into the swimming pool.
Dear David Thank you so much for stayed with us at paradise resort. If there are any inconvenient we have to apologized and thank you so much for your wonderful review, we are appreciated. we are looking forward to welcome you to visit us again. Best regards Ms Noi and team
Breakfast buffet is nice with variety choice of local food. Villa is very comfortable and clean. However, the location is bit far from the town.
Chinese hotel for Chinese people. Not clean at all, staff not friendly... Turn your way, you can find easily much better place.
This resort is a little ways outside the town but it has a free tuk tuk to town, plus they will call a taxi for you outside tuk tuk departures. They are SO FRIENDLY and kind. We had a fantastic 2 bedroom villa with kitchen and living room and we w ere all very comfortable. Breakfast was great as well. The resort does need some upkeep: fresh paint, a little landscaping little things like that but it was fine. The kids loved the pool. When we left, it was 30minutes from the resort to our gate. Not the airport, but the gate.
Simple hotel good for the money
Staffs were really kind and the swimming pool was perfect. I liked the breakfast and the clean room as well :)
We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.
The rooms were spacious and had lovely balconies overlooking the garden.Bathroom facilities were basic. The shuttle bus to town stopped at 7.30 pm,so need to taxi back after that.Breakfast was ok,but strange on some days. Lunch menu was good.Offer Red wine but did not offer white wine ,need to stock both.
good
Staff was outstanding. Owned by Chinese. Complete amenities. nice view. Good breakfast. Nice shower system. Only thing.. when you walk the floor makes sounds...
Recommendable for families, as you hardly find places with pools in Luang Prabang. Our kids (4,6) thoroughly enjoyed the child-friendly, welcoming
Fantastic pool; Worth the price; Great design; Beautiful garden. Some of the rooms didn't run hot water well. Breakfast could be improved.
The pool is dreaming. All rooms are single vally, wooden floor, very french style. Resturant is not ready for lunch and dinner. Some of our rooms don't have hot water, got bath issue. Close to the new bridge, little bit far from downtown. Anyway, worth it!
good good good good good
We stayed for ten nights. It was a nice place and the pool was clean and big. Location is rather borring and would have been nice with a small shop close by. But service was great. Internet connection was poor most of the time
No attention to details very sub standard. The most I've paid per night and the most disappointing during my 5 week trip. TV reception poor and no English channels, plugs hanging from wall, tiles loose around pool and grout missing leaving sharp edges, trip hazards outside of door, lock repaired with sticky tape, inadequate lighting in bathroom for shaving, bathtub shower slippery and dangerous, internet intermittent took me 3 hrs to book a flight because it kept dropping out and therefore my page kept timing out. Mind you I thought that Luang Prabang was a dirty stinky exhaust filled hole and that this place is probably as good as your going to get. The only staff member who tried was Khoon, but you can't fix a problem without the right tools.
Swimming pool was good, room was big enough, it was close to nature
It was a wonderful place to stay and the location was great.
Stay was fine after we have to change room from double bed to twin bed already booked. Staff was ok, whether they was not so helpful sometimes for explaining the surrounding... Swimming pool was great.
We loved this resort although just a bit far out of town. But shuttle was handy. Room was excellent, but once again a hard bed made us leave a day earlier than we would have liked. All the staff were excellent and catered to our every need . Breakfast passable, but would be better if it was all cooked to order, not just the eggs. Would stay again if beds improved!
The hotel is in a quite part of town away from the heart of Luang Prabang. The convenient and free shuttle into town 6 times a day means you can easily access anything you want in the city and the staff goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. The pool is such a welcomed treat!
Everything about our stay was lovely and we would stay here again. Only one problem was the pool. It is very inviting but for older people (we are in late 70s) quite dangerous to enter and climb out of. There is no hand rail at the steps which are quite slippery. Around the edge of the pool is a decorative feature of large smooth stones which are hard to stand on. If it hadn't been for helpful fellow guests we would not have been able to use it.
We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful resort hotel which was tucked away outside the main town. The rooms and pool were delightful. The hotel had bikes which made it very accessible to the lovely town, an easy (about) 3km away. We cycled in every day to enjoy the sites of Luang. Prabang. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast good.
Very nica nd we njoyed the pool and friendly staff. After a week we decided to move closer to the city center but a nice family plaeto start seeing LP.
Nicely decorated, clean and tasteful rooms in a resort setting a little way from the centre of town (need a bicycle or public transport; to far to walk). Nice pool, not enough umbrellas but when I asked the main reception lady she arranged for the purchase of three more within the next couple of hours. In fact, Dor, the lady at reception, has wonderful English and is outstandingly helpful and friendly. She made our stay a real pleasure...although it was that already, with nice breakfast buffet (not huge, but sufficient and tasty), nice rooms, everything clean and well-appointed. I'd really recommend this place, especially if you want a pool and want to be a little away from the bustle of town.
It is a very nice relaxing place to stay with lovely individual chalets. It had a lovely pool and gardens and very nice staff. The breakfast was very small with not very much choice but the lady made the best omelettes in Laos. It cost $6 for a tuktuk to town each way which could get a bit costly but that was the only gripe we had. All in all, very relaxing and not crowded.
Didnt have a great experience here, the initial greeting didn't happen, we are pretty sure we didn't even get the suite that we paid for, as there is no difference between a delux room and a suite. The breakfasts were awful, cold coffee every day, one type of fruit offered. The free bicycles are seriously dangerous and the staff did nothing when I pointed out the dodgy breaks on my one. The resort is not close to the city and tuk tuks are not cheap. We felt that the staff did the absolute minimum and honestly we didn't feel in any way welcome. I just want to say this is the first time I have ever written anything bad about a hotel.
We stayed last 7 nights of our stay in Luang Prabang after staying closer to riverside and nearer town. It was great to have the pool as we had 3 hot days. Room was lovely with balcony to sit on overlooking the garden, but I kept getting bitten on my face at night, something with pillow. We asked them to spray the room which they did. Staff were very friendly and helpfull. It is a bit far out, but as we had already been in town we found courtesy bus okay. I booked as it had shuttle bus to airport, but it was twice the price of getting your own, so we spoke to driver in town night before and got him. Laundry cost ridiculous, over 4 times other prices.
Was a memorable experience, the hotel staff are very friendly and language is not a barrier at all. They make you feel right at home and offer service with a smile.
We stayed there for a couple of days and I would definitely recommend it and go there again. Staff was so nice and friendly - we arrived late and they kept the restaurant open for the two of us so we could get dinner! The pool and garden is beautiful and it is not far from town and they offer bikes for free to get into town (which is fun) or free shuttle at specific times or cheap tuk-tuk service. The room was big and nice and clean!
The service was fantastic! Although it is a bit disappointing that there was no bathtub and the door was faulty, but the service made up for everything else. Location not fantastic but a nice place to relax.
Good wifi Better if own transport but offer shuttle bus, we hired scooter and best at naluang bus co Great pool, u really need this in Luang Prabang Massive room we had free upgrade Friendly and helpful staff We stayed at top rates hotel in town but would prefer this resort, u feel like your in holiday here Karoke next door is a good local experience, no tourists
Clean and very spacious room. Bathroom is bigger than some of the rooms of other hotels. Good working air conditioning and nice beds. Friendly staff. Lovely swimming pool. Restaurant is overpriced with too small portions of food with variable quality. Breakfast is included and is buffet-style with good food. Most friendliest staff of a hotel I have ever stayed at, they were always polite and helpful and came and picked us up from the old town in the shuttle bus when we called. A bit far from town though.
“非常に満足”
A lovely oasis for relaxation. Beautiful swimming pool and lovely morning breakfast. The free airport shuttle and scheduled complementary shuttle into town each day is very much appreciated! I will be back!
