“good location, nice staff”

“Confusion from staff and hotel layout”

It was ok. The room is very small. There was a leaking in the bathroom. The staff is very confused. The 'free' internet does not really work most of the time. It was really confusing to get to my room. I had to take a lift up, corridor to other building and stairs down to get to the room.

“OK hotel in inconvenient location”

There are no non-smoking rooms in the hotel (apparently they are coming) and as everyone in Jordan smokes inside our room was fairly smokey. The quality of room finishes is poor. There is a fee for internet. Staff were not that helpful (eg no city maps, did not assist with finding taxis, did not follow up on enquiries). The location is not great as it is near lots of malls and a taxi trip downtown is needed to get to local restaurants and attractions.

This hotel is in Sweifieh area, right next to Baraka mall. This is a busy area with just about anything you can think of a block away. There are so many cafes and restaurants that I couldn’t try all the ones I wanted to. The hotel is a good deal for its rate… my room was clean and comfortable, but I think I got one of the newly renovated rooms, with a modern bathroom. The room had an AC, safe and minibar, along with basic toiletries. Breakfast was a bit depressing, with limited variety and same thing everyday… breakfast area is also in need of a major makeover, it is dark with worn out carpets and old chairs- it didn’t bother me much though. The hotel in general is not well kept, with old carpets in the hallway and piles of linen during the day while rooms are being cleaned. The staff is general is friendly, except for the reception staff, which I found were dry not too accommodating. All in all, this is a great choice if you will not be spending too much time at the hotel, and want a clean room, a busy area with shops and cafes and the ability to walk around during the evenings. I would stay here again!
