The location of the hotel is just next to Roma Termini and this is the only reason to book it. The beds in our room were more of camping beds than three star hotel comfortable ones. The interaction with one employee one day prior to arrival was rather unconfortable.
location is perfect
We book the Kennedy hotel for three nights middle Jan. It was low season and the price was good. Two big room for ~100 Euro a night is good. The rooms were clean, breakfast was ok. Could serve some good bread. Internet was a bit slow. Location was excellent. Overall, can recommend it.
its a good hotel near to the Metro
We think the only concern is the door lock of the room is just a simple key (not card key or electronic lock), and reception requests you not bring the keys outside the hotel - when you go out, you need to leave the keys at front desk.... I have no experience before like this, which made us very insecure that we will lock our suitcases and locked it in the room before leaving the room. Other than this, room was ok, toilet is small, breakfast was good!
Old rooms, rude staff. No keycards. They give old school keys. The bathroom needs cleaning.
Vey bad
The location can't be beat. The staff was just fine. It's just that there were mold in the bathroom. The room itself was also just fine. I just didn't take a shower because I couldn't stand the mold. It was too late in the night to change room. Very short stay and took the early morning train to the airport the very next day.
I really liked the location, the room, nice staff. However, the other guests slam their door like they own the hotel.
I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Kennedy near Rome Central Station. The location was convenient, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable.
There is no AC or fan in this hotel, terrible behaviour too. DO NOT BOOK!
Only location opp the Termini station is desirable. The rest, so-so
Poor room quality with unstable water for bath, it is not accept that there is no hot water during bath and the water flow is also not stable and al’s weak as i can’t wash my hair. The environment is very noisy with train come across and the door outside, which totally affect our sleep quality. Moreover, it is not accepted that the seating toilet is broken. The whole experience of the stay is very poor and I will not recommend and stay with this hotel again.
The hotel is ok, the neighborhood is scary. It’s not safe at all, so it’s not worth it. Better invest a few $ more and have an amazing time without worrying about drunk homeless migrants
Staff was very accommodating. Very good location, just a block away from the Termini side exit.
room is clean. staffs are very nice and helpful. breakfast was ok.
Great value for money. The location is perfect, walking distance to all places in the city center. The location itself is quite dirty (Termini Central Station) and is quite scary to walk at night. However, the street where the hotel was located was very quite and felt safe. The staff is extremely friendly, there was daily cleaning. Breakfast is typical Italian breakfast with a lot of sweet pastries and coffee, do not expect much from this. However, again, it is a 3-star hotel and for its service, cleanliness and location, is absolutely worth it
Really friendly staff, great breakfast. Recommend this hotel. Beds are a bit stiff though.
From airport to Termini Train station with bus, 200 meter walk to hotel, near subway Bus station Shopping center and Train. Hop on Hop of bus near. Bathroom good, Bed good, View not, closed window(can open only half) breakfast simple, good coffee. Recomend to people who wants to see city. I will go back to this place.
The bed was very uncomfortable, the room was very very noisy both from the street and from inside the building ( the room was located on the third floor). Staff was rude with the exception of 2 people. The bathroom had no bidet, no hair-drier, the curtain in front of the shower was mouldy and dirty. No fridge in the room, no safety box. I was very surprised this is a 3-star hotel
Lovely helpful staff, nice light breakfast, clean hotel and really good value for money! Perfect little base whilst you are sightseeing around rome :-)
Good place for budget travelers Need to book way in advance. If not, the room price increased badly from 100 to 500euros per night.
Good for budget travelers
Location: OK, Just a few steps to Termini Tren Station. Not a very crowded area of Rome. We like the beds here. All slept well even the AC was off because of energy problem during the R and U confrontation. Simple but delicious continental breakfast. They served gourmet Italian coffee here (to our Asian taste). No, I wont be back here if they don't have their AC turned on.
Urine smell inside toilet The weather was hot and A/C was off , when I complained , the front office said to me that because it’s getting cold out side we turn it off, another one told me that due to war between Russia and Ukrain , Italian government asked hotel to turn A/Cs off , I booked for 4 nights but a left the hotel after 3 nights
- Location near termini but you have to know the right exit door. - First when I arrived and check-in, Staff just asked to pay city tax and gave the key not advise anything (floor no. , Wifi , Breakfast time) - When came to room, toilet did not flush, so dirty. - The toilet not working so I asked to change the room but staff said fully-book and they will fix it. - When I came back to hotel in evening, I asked about toilet but no one were informed about it. They went to the room with us and said they can not fix now may be tomorrow. Lucky that toilet was fixed. - Do not have Dried-brow, Refrigerator, Conditioner. - Breakfast only have breads, milk and hot drinks. - Have steps from door to counter, No convenience with big bags.
Terrible hotel with disfunctional reservation system. D
The hotel which was the most expensive and most deceiving. We booked the day before, big mistake
The location was fantastic only problem I had was as a solo traveller carrying 2 suitcases with over 30kg and climbing steps to reception whilst they watched you struggle was a little disappointing.
Would not stay again rooms are very small and not very clean , breakfast was awful hard croissant and donuts not a big variety shocking really, beds are small and feel like there broken not nice to sleep on would like my money back however staff are really nice
Super close to the train station with lots of food options around. Room fit all our needs except the shower is a little small. Staff are so friendly!
Walking distance from where we needed to catch the train to Fiumicino from Termini. Great staff and overall cleanliness. Only thing I would say was in need of some TLC was the shower. Other than that I am grateful for this hotel and the staff.
Room is spacious enough. Aircon is great, bathtub is big. Water pressure for shower is great but temperature of water is not stable. Mattress is spring and very old. 2 single bed with 4 legged metal bedframe. One of the mattress is too soft till it sink down into a U shaped. Part time staff is unprofessional in the afternoon when we requested to change the soft sinking mattress. 1. The staff said why customers like to request in afternoon when there’s no staff, and it’s heavy to carry up and down. 2. Rooms are full booked and not able to change any mattress. 3. He also shared a lot of unhappiness in this country and in Europe. Personally I feel the part time staff should be well trained in their customer service.
Our early check in request was accepted tq so much location near termini station The hotel even allowed us to store our luggage until late evening, awesome and kind staff
very nice
Close to the main Termini station, relatively comfy beds, and simple breakfast. Colosseo is a quick 10-15 min walk, and the street is relatively quiet at night. Great place!
We only stayed in the Kennedy Hotel for one night in Rome, however, it was perfect. It's within walking distance (5 mins) of the train/bus station. The staff were fantastic and could not be more helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. We were able to leave our bags to go and explore when we checked out. I would definitely return if I go back to Rome.
Good location near Central Station / Termini Rome. TV set is too small.
For a 3 Star Hotel,The Kennedy Hotel was good value for money in a good location with good transport connections(you can walk to the Hotel with your bags by walking 3 mins only from one of the exit doors of the Termini Station...no need for a taxi!) . i was here with my son and we had 2 separate bedrooms.Bedrooms were clean with comfortable beds and crisp fresh linen and towels.Rooms and communal areas are painted in pleasing light colours and the bedroom & bathroom floors are tiled making for a more hygienic clean. Powerful shower and hot water always available. The air-conditioning worked well throughout. Our room prices had continental breakfast included....it was a lot more than just a hot drink and criossant...there were cereals with milk, tinned and fresh fruit, fruit juices,a fresh cake daily with croissants and rolls with butter, honey, jam & cheese slices. There were fruit yogurt pots, juices Swedish toast packs and hot drinks....the Barista made excellent capuccinos and we had 3 of them each every morning! If they had large mugs instead of cups there would be less work for the staff to bring them to the tables...they didn't mind at all to keep bringing them though. An especial thanks to Alessandro and Francesco who were inviting, friendly & helpful. Thanks to all the breakfast staff too. If you are coming to Rome as a tourist, one would be too exhausted at the end of each day to be worried about being able to hear a few sounds from the other rooms or the corridors...that was no problem for us. Like i was saying to one of the Owners, people can't expect to pay for a cheaper watch and expect a Rolex! If it is a budget trip you are looking for, then this is your hotel!
Reli bad one. The floor is not even in room !!!
Pros: best location, one block away from roma termini. Very good air conditioning. Friendly staff, you can leave your luggage in the reception after check out time and get them later in the day. Cons. - Sound proofing not good. I can hear Noises from neighboring room and room above me.
Generally good however, the premises looked "tired" and need an uplift, if not renivations !
Good stay overall with location close to the main train station. The WIFI is terrible, so if you plan to use internet on your stay, find the McDonalds close by.
This hotel has annexed. We ended up next to train station, with drunks sitting on our doorstep and broken bottles littering the footpath. No staff are in the annex and no phone to hotel and require 3 keys to get into room. Room was quite nice but location terrible. Breakfast was poor, staff not helpful.
Aside from friendly reception there are nothing more great being in here. What I can't stand is the disgusting shower head covered with mold and dirt (not even bearable to look at it). Have to cover the shower head with cloth not to get distracted. Bathroom was also small and the shower floor was slippery. Even the glass (which plastic) they don't replace it during my whole stay. Room was big but the air condition (with basin to catch the dripping water below) is not that really good really uncomfortable to sleep because it was really hot inside. Worst you will not be able to get a good sleep because there was group of loud people partying outside and was able to sleep past 1 in the morning, and they were not done yet. During my first morning of my stay I was excited to have breakfast but it was disaster as it was seriously limited few variety of bread, cold capuccino and nothing more. No wonder why no one would like to take breakfast even if its free. Better to get a breakfast outside. Can't believed that this hotel was included in the accor group of hotels.
Poor breakfast selection but plenty hot drinks with (if you like ) UHT milk. Staff was helpful and rooms clean. The best bit was a convenient location. Indoor market has a good vibe in Termini station 2 min walk serves delicious food. Hotel is good for couples or group travel. Woudn't take my family though as it gets too noisy at night and no bath in a bathroom.
good value
...
I really enjoyed my stay at Kennedy. The staff were lovely. There are some great restaurants close by. The hotel is clean and well serviced. I was able to walk from the hotel to the Colosseum and the Spanish steps and Villa Borghese. Caught a taxi quite reasonably from the hotel to the Vatican. I would definitely stay here again.
“Awesome location, friendly staff, underwhelming breakfast”
Very near Roma Termini station, has a bus stop in front, staff are friendly. Decent wifi, i was able to work online. I wish there’s room slippers though. Breakfast also wasn’t the best- not this hotel’s higlight.
