The hotel is only 5 minute drive from the airport, which is handy for early/late flights. But there is no restaurant or kiosk (but there is room service), no windows in the rooms (apart from out to the hall main hall) the air con didn’t work, TV didn’t work. There were huge cob webs in the room and the bath room. The dust on the cob web means it had been there a long time. If nothing else is available, then this will do. The staff was very friendly though.

Make sure when you book this place, you call them to ensure your pick-up service and smooth check-in because none of the staff that I meet regards any booking with Agoda as a real booking.

Basic hotel and good for a night before catching a flight from Makassar. We got a good nights rest but very basic room, but you get what you pay for. It's only about 1-2km from airport and hotel offers transfers.

Staff always very helpful in all regards. However, smoking was so pervasive and heavy that it made the stay unpleasant. Also, lots of noise in the hallway all night long, in addition to their heavy smoking. Despite the staff, it made for an unpleasant overnight. If you are a non-smoker, I would suggest some place else. It may be 2 stars for an indonesian hotel but only 1 star for an international comparison.

During transit period in Makassar for twice, I choose this hotels. The staff very friendly and helping, the condition also quite, very clean and their hot water really good. The bad thing is their food not to delicious for me. Better to buy or provide from airport before come in to the hotel. Not yet tested their breakfast and there is no minimarket near it. You should prepare before

I picked this hotel because I had a long layover on my way to Sorong for a dive trip. I wanted to get some sleep as my next flight was at 3am. The staff forgot to pick me up at the airport but I found someone working at a hotel booking desk to call them. They came pretty quick and the hotel was very close to the airport (5 min or so). The hotel was reasonably modern and the room was comfortable enough. Later, I found out that there is a hotel in the airport which would have been much more convenient but I don't know how the prices compare.

We stayed here because our flight arrival was past midnight and we opted to stay near the airport rather than transferring to Makassar city center. Also, the next morning we had a business located about a half-way between the airport and Makassar, so we chose to stay close to the airport to avoid the usual morning traffic jam.

If you need a 1 night crash pad, between flights this hotel is ideal, as it is cheap and located about a 5 minute drive from the airport, most hotels are located in the city a 45 minute drive from the airport. However be aware that it is very basic, check in was quick, they have no working lift,you may want to bring a sleeping sheet as the bed linen is very grubby looking. On the plus side the shower was hot and the room quiet. Breakfast was included but inedible. A nice surprise, they offer a free transfer back to the airport. If you have a longer layover, it is worth travelling into the city, as there are some first class hotels available.

Darma Nusantara is a budget airport hotel with free airport shuttle. The rooms were average but had hot water, and the breakfast was lousy. Hotel patrons were a little creepy. For an overnight stay it was adequate.

Good room, hotel close to airport with transfer service but quite difficult to get the service. Nobody will wait for you at the airport. The only way you can get the transfer service is to call the hotel on arrival which is not possible for foreigners because we don't have Indonesian Number.
