My kids were running on the grounds and beach and pool all day, my parents were resting on the beach chairs under a tree and I was between the spa and a great book. Couldn’t have asked for a better weekend getaway with no immigration or airport hassles!
If you're looking for tranquility, literally away from crowd.. this side of Bintan is the best!! I was there on weekdays over the Singapore June school holidays. It's just sun, sand and sea. Only thing is pillow is a little soft. Mattress was perfect! Stayed in a deluxe and was less than a minute walk away from the beach. I love the privacy and tranquility. Friendly staff and warm hearted. Thank you and good job👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
very quiet location. good view and nice food
Nice place, clean rooms and great staff. Price of the rooms is a bit expensive. Rooms at the back of the garden are really noisy because of the road near by
I liked the quiet place. The food was great and staff awesome. Booked a snorkeling trip to an island nearby (10min. by boat) and they enjoyed a massage with sea view.
Bungalows are charming. Beautiful swimming pool. Good food at the restaurant. I recommend +++
It was an amazing place! The staff were very kind and helpful. They always serve you with a smile even for a little insane request that you ask. The beach was awesome though the last day suddenly had oil leaked. The food were limited specially for breakfast but it was good food. Will definitely recommend and will come back to this quiet and relaxing paradise. The pool is the highlight too, deep and nice play with. We became like a kid on it! Amazing stay all in all!
i've been here several times, with family and friends. I even hosted a party for 46 people here over 5 days, many who came from all over the world. it's a fantastic place. the staff are amazing and accommodate us well. I love it here.
Very rustic feel, but that means the room is full is insects and lizards. Most of the facilities are not very well maintained. For the price, it is not as luxurious as it should be.
Trikora is a very nice, clean & friendly place to stay at. The room is very spacious and very cosy specially for couple who wants to spent quality time together. The beach area is one of the attraction here and it is so blue during the day. I would of course recommend Trikora to any one.
Nice resort on a quiet, clean beach on Bintan. Great service, beautiful grounds, good food, and a nice swimming pool. We were there with our 8 year old son, which was OK, but the place is really ideal for a couples weekend.
Price to hight for all, food no good but very expensive, transport more then expensive, and fly and mischito are everywhere, tax and service they said from governament..... so more expensive 10%plus 11% !
Nice beach with trees and shadow. Nice villas. Absolutly loved the atmosphere, quiet and relax.
Good place to kick back for a few days. However, the chalet that we stayed in was next to the main road and can be very noisy with passing cars etc. The noise is accentuated by the empty space between the chalet and the wall. Also, Trikora is quite a distance from the rest of Bintan. Transport can be a problem
Nice view. Breakfast is ok. Will recommend this.
The resort is lovely, design, very quiet and peaceful. Have breakfast in the sand, swimming pool on the beach, lovely garden and lovely rooms. Perfect for small kids. But everything is a bit pricey for Indonesia, and you have to pay for everything (kid in the room, activities), food&beverage is higher that you find usually in Bali. The beach is lovely, but you find fuel lozenges that stick to the feet in the sand and this is not a perfect sea to swim. About food, the menu is limited and you have no opportunities to go somewhere, as there is nothing around. More variety of food would be appreciated:) but the food is good. And the grilled fish or squid on Saturday night are a good surprise. Massages are great.
Loved the hotel, loved the room. Staff was great too, they let us keep the room till our ferry time. The pool is great. And all we ate was spaghetti and spaghetti is always good. Don't order the pizza. Food and beer is reasonably priced
Really liked it.
The place is secluded thus makes it a very good chill out location. The rooms were clean and there were a lot of accessories such as mosquito coils, etc. to make sure the room is bug free. The beach is very near and the breeze when we went was awesome. Great experience overall.
Away from the commercial hotspot of Bintan, not too expensive Trikora Beach Resort is a great getaway for those looking for peace and beauty. Close to the beach and on the other side. Good food, friendly staff
Away from the crowds of the northern 'Bintan Resorts' yet plenty of activities available close by. Nicely designed resort - great pool and good restaurant by the beach. Very good for a long weekend.
Pros: cheap, good food, great pool and clean sea water Cons: a bit basic
We loved it here and might come back again and again and again. Private beach, spacious greens and kids friendly. Choose the villa, it's worth the money.
The ride from Bintan Ferry terminal cost USD 60 get to and fro which is kinda expensive. The swimming pool is well maintained. The rooms are simple and big. WIFI is very weak, and the water pressure for shower is low. Overall, if you are looking for a place to relax and money is not an issue, Trikora Beach Club & resort is a good place to chill.
Trikora Beach Club & Resort is an amazing and quiet place to relax; although I can imagine it gets very crowded on weekends. We were here on weekdays, and there was hardly anyone else here, which is great. It feels like having entire beach to yourself. The food is good, and not too expensive like most resorts. The one thing that really bothers me is that it is an hour's ride from Bintan Ferry terminal and it cost quite a lot to get to and fro. I feel that the resort can provide this as a complementary service. The best thing about this resort is the swimming pool, which has a 3 M deep end. It's really quite awesome. The rooms are simple and quite large. WIFI is VERY weak, and we can hardly get online most of the time.
A lovely location with a wonderful pool. Warm staff and expensive food.
Very good for leisure and relaxation holidays. Quiet, good taste, very strong incorporated in nature. Very open space and very friendly hosts
The hotel is amazing : all the equipments, activities , the pool, rooms, the location is perfect. The food is very nice and local.
I visited here for short getaway. Overall the place is nice, very quiet and the beach is clean. Only the con is the food. I think the food is not worth the money. If i pay 85k for a plate of fetucini, i will expect that it would be a delicious fetucine with good presentation, like a nice portion of food and garnish would be put on it. But In fact, it didnt!. I think you guys need to review the restaurant, change the chef.
Always happy to visit Trikora Beach Resort.
We are always on the lookout for small, non-luxury hotels directly on the beach. This hotel ticked all the boxes. It is a lovely location, with a wonderful pool, and very warm and friendly staff who are helpful and thoughtful. For these reasons, we enjoyed our stay. However, one very large factor will stop us from returning, sadly. That's the cost of food and beverage. But especially the food. The prices are comparable to a restaurant (not coffee shop) in Singapore, or perhaps a luxury resort. Apart from fried rice or fried noodles, the portions are average. Disappointing was the SGD$22 (incl. taxes) sup buntut. While a soup itself was delicious, the two bones with no meat on them was really unacceptable for the price. The ikan bakar was SGD$20 (incl. taxes) and it was the size of two hands. This turned a potentially reasonably priced long weekend away into an unexpectedly expensive few days. There are no other eating options in the general area. We do understand that operating from a relatively remote area drives up costs, but we honestly feel that a reasonable driven up price would be 50% of what is currently charged for food. Having been in a rush on the day we left, we didn't have time to chat about this with the friendly owner, but we hope he takes this feedback in stride.
Nice pool, nice beach
beautiful private beach. good food. Must go for their BBQ on Saturday night.
Hh
Our second time here in 2years. Will definable come back again.
We came as a group for Scuba diving and spent a week-end off the resort. Within 2 hours of Singapore, you reach a laid-back and very relaxing place. We will come back for sure !
Location wise - this is for those who like a private and exclusive beach resort to hang out in (1 hour and 15 mins from Bintan Ferry terminal). Staff were very helpful, courteous and accommodating. Awesome stuff to do if you are active and adventurous.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay. But F&B deserves to be upgrade to align with the rest
No room service. We have to starve throughout the night and breakfast start at 8am,
We instantly fell in love with this place among all resorts in Bintan. Gorgeous infinity pool, clean and well furnished rooms, best beach area in Bintan, nice massage place, staff are welcoming and very approachable. Peaceful and relaxing the whole time we were here. Breakfast is simple but we love the nasi lemak! Only minimal issue is that the bees love to hang where people are, and it's a bit scary that they will sting any time .
Peaceful and quiet
Our stay at Trikora was really a dream. Perfect weather, gorgeous beach, amazing pool and nothing else to do but to relax on the sun chairs, have good food and rent a stand up paddle or a kayak for the daily exercice! Same comments as previous guests: if you have a light sleep or young children, ask for a room closer to the beach (further from the street) and don't forget to bring your own bottles of you want to drink something else than Bintang beers. Other than that, it was all perfect!
Great getaway, very quiet. Some areas to improve: Waiting time for food up to 45 mins even restaurant is totally empty. Tough for hungry kids.... Sports equipment not well maintained. Staff not familiar with currents in the sea, at times dangerous. No life guards on duty.
Enjoyed this holiday! Staff were great, food was good!!-- only if you ordered the fresh fish (the fried rice and noodles were too oily.) The property is spacious and quiet. But if you get the deluxe rooms you might hear cars passing by in the afternoons and evenings. So we couldn't nap peacefully in the afternoons. We had to nap on the beach, which is fine. The more expensive rooms nearer the beach were more quiet, I reckon. The resort is so tasteful and pretty, unlike alot of the other Bintan accomodations! I have wonderful memories with my loved one. Trikora's focus on the right things--- perfect beds, lovely architecture, spacious rooms, hot showers, infinity pool, quiet beach--- made it perfect. Thank you!
Menu is pretty limited and there is no wine, only overpriced Bintang. Also, please just give all prices including tax and service charge, adding them afterwards on to everything is just pathetic. Otherwise everything was fantastic and we'd love to go back.
Fantastic stay in Trikora : Beautiful bungalows nicely decorated, beautiful swimming pool with stunning view, very quiet environment in a secluded part of Bintan. Food was absolutely delicious (no restaurant near the hotel) Exactly what we were looking for, for a weekend break !!!! LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT
Really nice place, pool and rooms. restaurant a bit expensive but food is good.
Resort definitely met expectations, nice clean and relaxing. We used the transfer service which is cost $81S return for two however made for an uncomplicated cruisey round trip despite only staying for a night - we had two full days which was enough
Spent most of the day at the amazing pool. Beach was nice too. Sand was rather coarse but there are corals and fishes to look at just 10m from the beach.
“Beautiful location, but food choices extremely limited”
Very happy with the rooms, rustic but well appointed. Beautiful tar-free beach away from the crowds and major shipping lanes, exactly what we were looking for. Dining choices are extremely limited though, and I found it hard to sleep at night due to the very loud fishing boats that seem operate all night.
