The stay at the Olive was very comfortable for me. I had gone to Cochin for a business visit and the hotel located right next to the Kakkanad Infopark was ideal for me. The check-in took exactly 3 minutes and the room was ready at 7am!! which is very rare these days. Very comfortable and spacious room with good amenities. Service levels were simply fantastic. The cons if any would be lack of any additional facilities like a spa or pool or health club. But I would recommend this hotel for any business traveler coming down to Cochin.

“not a good hotel”

This hotel is not a 4 star hotel , and very small room. The service is very slowly ,you need to wait for a long time for everthing. Moreover, it is very far away city center and tourist resort.

Enjoyed the stay and the room. However the breakfast buffet could always be made better. Room service and restaurant food were really good.

“Bad Experience ”

Really bad experience from the staff. It was a late check in 11 PM. But still the room was not properly cleaned. Bedsheet and blanket is having smell. Waste of money. I could have prefer Lavender or Novotel. Very worst experience and will not prefer for anyone.

“Not a three star experience ”

The pros for this hotel are the Uber convenient location and wonderful staff. However the cons far outweigh the pros after that. Rooms are old and much in need of maintenance. The ac was constantly leaking in my room and I had to adjust it to the lowest setting to stop it. The overall dark ambience of the rooms along with the wood paneling just doesn't give off a good clean vibe. But it might just be a visual thing. Room service was good but the restaurant food was not. I ordered dinner and had to leave out most of it due to horrible taste. It's very rare for me. However I am willing to give the benefit of doubt for this one. The restaurant food I tried a few weeks back was actually good and the chicken sandwich I ordered earlier in the same day was great too. Breakfast buffet was okay but by 9 pm almost everything was cold and not upto the mark.
