“Very Good”

The room has space for the 4 of us. The room was bigger than the other hostel. Every day change of towels was also a plus. The only problem with our stay was the creepy elevator, the shower and c.r. door was broken.

Located right in the middle of the busy shoppping area of Hong Kong yet quiet enough for a good night sleep. Night market is just a minute walk away, public transport is very close by where travellers can reach most places in Hong Kong very easily, restaurants with excellent food with a wide variety of choices all around - one of the most convenient location for all travellers need. Hotel is clean with basic facilities such as good shower with adjustable comfortable temperature, kettle for hot drink, air conditioning, TV etc. Room size is very good compare to some of the slightly more expensive hotels, and the bed is very comfortable. Well recommanded

Not recommended unless they improve elevator and have stand by staff. (No staff, you need to call to verify your booking and people in the line will give you the password to get in) We could stay only a night (booked 3 nights)

Pros: 1. Strategic location (3 min walk from Mong Kok station exit D3) 2. Lower floor Cons: 1. Too small room for 3 pax (barely can move 2 person at one time inside the room) 2. Hygiene condition inside the building (dirty and rubbish everywhere) Shall not re-book this place

Good budget hotel for sleeping/resting after a day of sightseeing, Disneyland, Oceanpark. Next street is Ladies Night Market. Near Goldfish Street and Fa Yuen( Day Market). Aircon is great. Hot shower available. A bit small but enough for sleeping. A+ will recommend to friends and family.

Convenient place to stay as it is near shopping centers and restaurants. Welcoming staff and very accommodating owner.

Stayed for 3 nights for 2 rooms. The staff was very accommodating. The owner is friendly and attends to concerns immediately especially during typhoon. The place is a bit small which is common in Hong kong, but still suitable for us. Comfortable beddings, we were able to sleep well despite the weather outside. Good thing also is it is near the shopping centers and night market.

Their place was very comfortable and at the same its clean. The air condition was good. Very accessible to MTR and the night market. Gonna choose again to stay if i will be back at Hong Kong. 😊

“Not recommended for family and women”

Pros: There are 2 stations near the place. Near everything like convenient stores, mtr, sneakers street, groceries. The room is clean. Provided basic toiletries like tissues, soap, shampoo. They have hot water. The staff is very nice. Cons: The place is in the red district of Hongkong. When we were going up to the 2nd flr of the building, somebody asked us where we were going. We said to the guesthouse and he said there is no guesthouse there. He helped us call the Yue Ka gh but no one was answering. I asked him what’s in the other floors and he said “you don’t wanna know”. The stairs was very dirty! Cigarette buts and trashes everywhere! And there are a lot of men going in and out of the building. It was a bit scary. Over all, I think this a motel not guesthouse. Yue ka is for men not for family specially fam with kids nor for women.

“Great Location”

Hostel is along the famous Sneaker Street in Mongkok. It is quite hard to find as there is no physical checkin that happens, you have to call the number(s) posted on the door of the guesthouse. The room is adequate for sleeping and the AC was functioning well. The shower heater, however, is not very consistent.

If you are looking for a budget, 18 sqm size of small room just for sleep and shower, convenience & affordable guest house. This guest house might suitable for you. Overall, It was a pleasure to stay in this guest house, down stair was sneakers street (Argyle Street to Fa Yuen Street), 5 min walk to the train station & wet market, 7 - 10 min walk to the bus stop to reach airport.

“Budget friendly”

Stayed for 4nights. No one is there since its very late when we reached the place. Able to contact them easily thru their phone outside the door. Got a Small room for 3 adults and 1kid. But HK room is like that. Towels werent clean and got really BAD smell. Emailed them if they provide toiletries, and they did. But shampoo and bath gel had different container but SAME content lol!! So basically just bring your own if you want. Location wise very accessible to mtr and eateries and ladies market. The stairs going to 2nd floor is TERRIBLY DIRTY! I dont think u would prefer to use the lift coz eveytime long queue, might as climb coz its 2nd flr only. Still on a cheap side! This can be improved. Thanks.

Very convenient location because it is very near the mongkok station, night market, and sneakers street. Jollibee, Mcdonalds, 7-11, a 24-hour resto are also nearby. There is a food stall at the ground floor selling takoyaki and fishballs. Langham place is also nearby. Location-wise, it is the best choice if you want to stay in mongkok. As it is nearby the mtr station, all other tourist spots are just a subway away. Though the space is not that big, I loved it because it is clean and it is only at the 2nd floor.

Love the location, near MTR but should walk a minute to circle k or seven eleven. Small room but clean. If i compare with the other hostel in Hong Kong this is worth it. But they didn't give free mineral water.

“Budget place but not to complain”

Hotel room was really small, can't open up luggage on the floor, got to do it on the bed. Reached the hotel early, unable to checkin early but was able to leave our luggage at the lobby area. After showering, water would flow out from the toilet door as there is a slight gap. Pricing wise is cheap but would rather add more money for a more spacious hotel.

Hotel is near Mongkok Shopping area, Very convenient. The Hotel staff was very helpful ,soft spoken ready to help and assist us on transporation needs on the location we are going.This would fit for 2 persons..Starbuck and mc donald is accross the street.Would highly recommend it to couples or businessmen with short stay

“Didnt feel safe”

Location was terrific, right un the heart of the shopping arena! The down side for me was room security features: - regular door knob that you use at home - no double lock. So if someone will enter your room with force can easily do so. - no peep hole, would not know who is knocking on your door. - no other exit but the one and only entrance door. The hallway going to the "hotel" was full of cigarette butts and trash bags. Had a hard time looking for the 2nd floor, we took the stairs insteadof the tiny elevator. Mistakenly went up to 4th or 5th the saw a group of young men knocking in a door and viola saw a girl just in her undies! Went to looking for another hotel to stay

Very small room but expected for Hong Kong but for such a low price there's nothing to argue about. The man who checked us in was very friendly and helpful and there was everything we needed. Very close to train station, shopping and markets.

supposed to categories this hotel as hostel. the room is quite small. its clean, but its way small. But location is great. the toilet is quite small. I like the location, near to shopping and food stalls. if you are travelling on budget, i recommend this hotel/hostel.

“Small room, air condition noise”

Samll room, a little expensive, staff is nice but not always at hotel, you can call them via the hotel phone, the air condition is noisy and you can hear the wind from the air condition tunnel when you sleep, WiFi connection is good, this is my first time stay at Hong Kong, I not really know the price and quality if other hotels are the same.

“Very affordable option for its location”

It is kind of difficult to find if you don't know how HK streets are set up. Once you find the door, go upstairs two floors (at May 14' there was a tennis shop on the 1st floor). Rooms are just for sleep, clean, air condioned. The bathroom is too small and sometimes a bit of smell can be feel from the bed (which is two feet away from bathroom). If you are looking for somewhere to crash and have a bath after walking the whole day in HK, this is a place for you.

The place was such a surprise in the busy Mongkok area. The room was small but was very clean and had the basic necessities. The family room had beds are big enough for a party of four. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our flight was delayed so we arrived at the hotel 11PM, and they were there waiting for us. On the day we left, it was during the rush hour. With young kids and several luggages, getting to the train or bus station would be a challenge. The hotel called a cab for us and all we had to do was wait at the curb. Even the cab driver was friendly. This hotel is highly recommended.

Our flight was very early in the morning so we arrived at the hotel at about 9am. Even though we cant check in early, the staff was very helpful and allowed us to drop our baggage at the counter. They allowed us to check in once the previous guests moved out! Location is excellent! Right beside ladies market and 2 mins awhile from argyle centre! Room is clean and cosy, just nice for the 3 of us. Value for money!!

“Dubious building, small room but decent bed/shower”

It was a decent stay but the building itself was extremely old, dubious, dodgy and kinda scary. The rooms itself was small and cramped (as expected) but the aircon, wifi, bed was good and given the price (relative to others in Hong Kong), it was acceptable. But my advise would be to up your budget to get a slightly better experience.

“surprising gem of a budget hotel, fuss free”

Finding was actually quite easy. Just get off the mtr at mongkok and go up the d2 exit. Make a u turn at the top of the steps, turn right, and then take the 2nd street on the right. Keep a look out for their sign (just look up). Its on top of the shop selling the street snacks on your right. Prefer walking up as the elevator is small and can be claustrophobic for some. Also it ends up on odd numbered floors, so have to walk down a floor. Checking in was unique where we had to call the number on the wall sign next to the 2nd floor front door. There's a land line for that. Most of the amenities are self serve and there are no daily housekeeping until check out. Room is pretty small but comfortable. But space has always been a issue for hk. Love the hot shower especially after a long day being a tourist. No brekkie included but it didnt matter coz plenty of small restaurants around for that This is a budget no frills hotel, so keep your expectations low and you'll be fine.

Mr. Sung, one of those persons who can be contacted, is the only one who can converse in English. Though it is a bit broken English but it can be understood. He is very helpful with our needs and inquiries. The internet is very fast. Hot water is provided. Accessible to the MTR and public transport.
