“Location is great”
The guest house is compact, shower room and bed room are clean and neat, but there's no refrigerator in the room. Receptionists are so kind, friendly and cordial.

“Definitely my go to place in HK”
From the reception to the housekeeping, everything is super 2-thumbs up! The building may be old, but the rooms in Tai Wah Guest House are very nice, comfortable, very clean (towels are changed everyday). I will definitely stay here when I come back to HK.

“Great surprise”
The price is cheap yet comforting. at first the place looks soooo creepy but once you get in it'll be a great surprise. The building looks old but our stay at tai wah guest house feels like a 3-4 star hotel. Thank you for accommodating us :)

“Clean and location ”
I stayed at this hotel for the 2nd time. The staff is very nice. The room is bigger than the 1st time. The room is very clean and good location. And the next trip I will stay at this hotel again.

“Rooms are super small”
Space between the beds are enough for one person to walk sideways. You cannot even open up a luggage. So you have to use the bed to open your luggage. I just like the location of this hostel. It is very accessible to all sites. Staff member is so nice and hospitable.

“As if you were on a different place”
The Mirador mansion itself was quite a scary place. The building was old, and some men are loitering at the entrance. There were a lot of security cameras so it felt kinda safe. The check im was so easy, the caretaker was accommodating. She brief us regarding the house rules. It felt safe as the main entrance to the guest house has security codes. As well as the rooms, they have akey card. The guest house was amazing. As if we were not at Mirador Mansion. It was small but we fit, and we don't really mind since we are frequent outside. Ithas fan, aircon, tv, wifi, heater, shower and fresh towels and slippers. Indeed it was worth the money. Just beware of roaches, we only found 2 of em, coming from the window. I guess they came outside since it was well cleaned onside og the room.

“It was good getting regular, they said that the breakfast was included and I didn’t receive it.”

“Good location, very small and cockroaches”
Location is good close with tsim sha tsui station, guesthouse is in mansion. The building is very old and look bad. The room very small, uncomfortable and look like clean but truely while we stayed, we found cockroaches everyday. That make our trip be bad.

The staff very kind and helpful, the water heater work properly and even have iron to rent as free. Included free mineral water is plus. Though, like many Hong Kong hostel the room is small

“Totally recommended!”
The front desk staff is very helpful and kind, she helped to clean the room every day when I stayed there for 4 nights. If you are worried about cleanliness, you don't need to because the room and the toilet are really clean! Plus, it is just 2 mins walk from the TST mtr exit, I would say it is a really s convenient location, surrounded by tons of local restaurants, shopping malls and personal care chain stores etc . However, I think the room is not spacious but it is perfect for 3 persons stay tho. I will totally come back when I visit HK next time! Thanks Tai Wah Guest House for your good services, I really appreciate it.

“Clean, pleasant stay”
We had a pleasant stay. I booked 2 rooms and we are satisfied with the cleanliness. Though the rooms were small but its standard for HK guesthouses. Bed foams used are very comfortable. Satisfied customer here. Thanks to Ate Gina as well.

“Good budget hostel”
The aunty is very kind and helpful. The room is clean and quite small but it is normal in HK. They changed towel every day. Very convenient to travel around as there is bus directed to/from airport and walking distance to China Pier to Macau, also close to MTR. The gate of the Midori mansion is next to Innisfree shop. Guest house is on 7th floor but you must go to reception on 8th first. Great value of money.

“Kind receptionist ”
Ms. Gina was very kind. Having a filipino receptionist is very convenient for us. Also, it is very near the MTR so commuting is not a problem.

“Great value”
The Mirador Mansion may seem a bit discouraging but once you enter Tai Wah Guest House it's a totally different world. Clean and well maintained. Room size is perfect for a solo traveller, however, try to get a double room. Would recommend bringing a pillow cover and spare sheets as they seemed clean but somewhat well-used. Wait time for elevators is not that bad either. Outside doesn't seem safe at night, but no problems if you are a man and you don't pay attention to bystanders offering fake watches and money exchange.

“TaiWah-nder”
The guest house is conveniently located near Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Station. The not-so-spacious but clean and secured room is good for wandering backpackers. The Pinay F.O. is a plus.

“Good Value For Money”
If you are looking for a budget place to stay at the heart of Hong Kong, this is the place to be. Nothing fancy as this is a budget hostel/guesthouse. But you get more than what you pay for. Clean room, CLEAN RESTROOM, cold aircon, perfect location.

“すごく良い”
I booked a family room here. The room was not small. Nice place once you entered their room. Very neat, they cleaned the room everyday and they even changed the towels everyday also, they provide water, toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoos and soaps. Heater and Ac unit were functioning well. Accessible to everything, MTR exit D1, restos, malls and a lot more. Ate jenny of the reception was very friendly and accommodating. Truly recommended and will be back here to stay soon.

“We would definitely book this again.”
Hong Kong hostels are typically this small so if you want more space you can book a family room or shell out around USD188 per night for a luxury hotel. Mirador mansion is more quiet than the nearby Chungking Mansion. Plus points: 1. Friendly front desk officer. I am sorry we forgot Ate's name but she's a Filipina and very friendly and accommodating. 2. Clean room with cold AC and working heater and hair dryer. Shower is also working well. Bed is soft and comforter is very comfortable haha. They have free towels and soaps and toothbrushes. To give you a clear idea how big is the bathroom, I'm a 5 foot with small built and the space is as big as 1.5 of my arms stretched x 2.5 of my arms stretched. We booked a twin room with a city view which allows us to feel more free since the windows are big. But this toilet is bigger than the ones in Chungking. 3. Accessible since Mirador is a known place. Just beside the MTR and surrounded by malls. A little walk to the park and to the famous Symphony of Lights. If you're pinoy, there's Jollibee across the street and surrounded with 7-11 and other local restaurants. Tip: use the other elevators. Don't just go to the first elevator you see infront. 4. Free hot drinking water which we do appreciate. We bought noodles at the grocery and saved money because of this so thank you. Over all pleasant experience. We regret that we were not able to extend our stay because they were fully booked already.

“Great budget accommodation in Tsim Sha Tsui”
Mirador Mansion is accessible via D1 exit of TST. Everything is within walking distance. Yes, the rooms are small, but it is typical of most HK accommodations. Only had small luggages so space was not really an issue. Lady at the reception is very nice and welcoming. They provide hot water for coffee. All in all we got what we paid for and would not hesitate to stay here again. Tip: Book a room with a window if you plan on staying for more than 2 nights. Bonus: Marketplace by Jason at the basement of K11 mall (back of Mirador) has a great selection of pre made meals, sandwiches and sushi that are discounted prior to closing.

“best buy.”
definitely would recommend this guest house. though, the sorroundings and hall ways are an eye sore. but once u enter their room, its nice and pleasant. everyday rooms are cleaned. towels were changed. but beddings are still the same. with good wifi connection. walking distance to malls, restos, mtrs, avenue of stars and many more.

“AWFUL - staff are rude, rooms are small”
Just plain awful. The rooms and bathrooms are super small you can barely fit. It only fits the bed and you have no space to walk inside. The staff are also rude to think that we have the same nationality; they should be accommodating. We were happy when we found out that the staff are Filipinos only to be greeted by their rudeness and asked us hurry up as it's already late at night. It's not our fault to arrive late as we already informed them prior to arrival that we booked a later flight. It's not even that late since we arrive around 10 in the evening.

“A great stay in Hong Kong”
We had a great stay in Hong Kong for 3 nights. Although we had a difficult time finding this place the staff more than made up for this. We had a great 3 nights staying here, we loved how close to many shops and restaurants and the harbour it was. The place was very clean and although extremely small it had everything we needed for our short stay. Thanks for a great stay!

“I’m happy that the receptionist is a Filipina.”
This is okay. This is cheap and clean. But, don’t expect so much about the building - it is like a tenement here in the Phils, but more clean. The receptionist here is a Filipina, so it is much easier to communicate. This is okay to all travellers who are looking for cheap accomodation. Well, splurge on the acvtivities, not in hotels.

“Cheap!”
Great location - lots of food, bars, etc. near the hotel. Also a MRT station less than a two minute walk away! The room itself was clean, no bugs, cleaning everyday. It was extremely small - but hey its HK so thats to be expected. Overall, I don't think you can go wrong here in terms of budget accommodation!

“HK trip with family of 8”
Great place if you will just stay for the night and spend the rest of the day touring around the city. It’s along Nathan Road and very close to exit D1 of TST. It’s just difficult to find at first since the hostel is in an old building. Kudos to the hotel receptionist Ms. Jenny for the warm welcome and help during the early check in.

“Best Hostel in Mirador Mansion”
Affordable, secured and very clean - with daily housekeeping and changing of towels. Friendly and helpful hostel owner and staff. With free toiletries and water. Location is very ideal - walking distance to tst mtr station, kowloon park, souvenir shop, mcdo, kfc, yoshinoya, bus terminal from and to airport, promenade and ferry terminal to Macau.

“Hotel with strategic location ”
The guesthouse was located near a subway station so it was easy to travel around. The room was super small with limited space to walk around or put our stuff. The lift was malfunctioning so we had to carry out luggage all the way up.
