I was greeted by staff Ms Chen on arrival. She was friendly and informative. From the time of booking till arrival, I was kept informed with direction to the hotel, how to gain access in the room and what’s available in the room etc. I am highly impressed with the entire checking in process.

“Tiny, tiny, tiny, but incredible location”

The place was a little hard to find, in a small entranceway leading down a hall and then to elevators. The room is the probably the smallest I've ever stayed in for vacation lodging with two beds hugging each wall and a short bookshelf between. Showering in the restroom was kind of a train-wreck. Basically you shower immediately next to the toilet, thus getting water and soap everywhere. The good thing is that the room felt generally clean. Then again, it's so small that it's not like there's a whole lot for them to clean anyway. The best part is the *location*, being IMMEDIATELY next to the train and also a super mall and other shopping. All in all this is a great room as long as you don't plan to actually stay in the room!

The location is grat! Just right there at the MTR exit. The entrance is small, must pay attention. Then take a elevator to 20 floor, turn left then you’ll fine the door with it’s name. But if you want to come to the guest houst earlier (before noon), you can’t get in the guest house - the room is locked and no one there. Eventhough you already note the arriving time when booking. Anyways, the host is so nice.

The aircon was leaking since day two midnight and there was no one around to assist. Told the staff the next morning and she said will settle it. End up day 3 night was still leaking and even worse. Finally change the room on day 4.

For it’s price, the best part is it’s location. It is right outside the MTR Mongkok exit and super easy to find. The area is sorrounded by so many shops including a 24hr restaurant and convenience store just a few steps away. I love how it is near the ladies market and sneaker street yet far enough to not be too crowded and noisy. For the room itself, it’s super small as with any other hostel we have stayed in HK. We got the double bed room but later on realized that we would have gotten more space if we got the twin bed room. Cleanliness is okay. They provide towels, toiletries, slippers, kettle, hair dryer, and a common fridge. The lady managing the hotel (i forgot her name) is also really nice and helpful. All in all, this hotel is a really good place to stay in if you’re on a budget. WAY WAY WAY BETTER thank those hostels in TST area like Chungking or Mirador - avoid those! Hahaha!

The fire safety cert for the guest house has expired in Sept2016 where we check in Nov2016. too crampy guest house and staff did not want us to chg to empty unit which bigger.

Kam Fu Guesthouse was somewhat difficult to find. It's situated between the new Bonjour store and Colourmix, and across from Sasa (near Langham Place). It's on the 20th floor--you need to go to the furthest two elevators (the other elevators only go to the 11th floor). The value was great! Great location! It's right outside the Mong Kok exit (E2); make sure you exit that one or you'll have to find the nearest crosswalk... The location was near all the popular stores, great area to be in for shopping, food, and transferring to other places in Hong Kong. The facilities itself were very clean and accessible, the room has a hot water boiler + hair dryer + toothbrushes; the reception is a joke though. There's no waiting area, and you have to make sure you catch the worker while she's there. She does not speak English but she will understand if you bring her the copy of your reservation. Overall, I recommend this place.

The location. Only 3 minutes walking distance from Mongkok MTR station gate E1 that means you can go just everywhere from there! Ladies market is also walking distance. The staff mostly don`t speak english, but they did all the effort to be helpful. Really appreciate it.

Excellent location and only a one minute walk to Langham Place, Mong Kok. Basic necessities are provided and value for money if you do not expect too much. Room size is surprisingly small but bearable for the price and the excellent location more than makes up for it.

I could fit in the bathroom. It had aircon. It was (given its elevation, and orientation into the centre of the complex) completely shielded from the typhoon.
