Location was amazing. The room and CR was bigger than those in Chungking & Mirador Mansions in TST! Size is good for Asian people. We originally booked Double Room, but transferred to Twin Room instead. Double Rooms are located 15 mins from the actual hostel, it’s inside another building. We just pulled the two beds to make it one. Wifi in our room was quite slow. There’s free water refill in the lobby. Lots of charging plugs as they have extension inside the room. Just bring your own travel adapter as they charge borrowing one at 20hkd. The building is decent and it’s bigger and cleaner than in other areas. Just a reminder to bring your own towels! You have to deposit 50hkd/towel if u don’t have one and a key deposit of 100hkd. All in all, better than those in TST. Value for money!
near subway. one can take the BUS A11 or mtr to the hotel. better buy the round trip bus (cheaper) location is great
Buy the A11 bus (round trip) and alight at WAN CHAI Fire station... walking distance from the Hotel. going back to the aiport, the bus stop is just around the corner. near sogo department and lots of restuarants to choose from
The hostel is very easy to find and very near the mtr station of causeway bay. The thing is when we arrived, i don’t know if the person in charge is just not in the mood but she was rude BUT the next succeeding days she was totally fine. There was also another younger girl in charge, she was more accommodating that the other one. The hostel itself is okay for budget travellers, if you just need a place to sleep and shower; if you’ll be outside most of the time, this is a place to stay.
The room is clean n no smell-room 5015.The hostel provide free water refill, please bear in mind that the towel and hair dryer you need to ask at the reception, all of them need to pay deposit first.the location is very near to mtr causeway bay exit D1.(3 min walk)
Can't complain for the price to stay in CWB and away from TST. Towel not provided so bring your own. Basic rooms nothing to rave about. Didn't enjoy the room but loved the location.
Location is everything and this would be one of them. Below average guesthouse that does not provide towel or anything. Basic guesthouse. Would stay again if I had to stay in CWB. Great value for that location.
small room but clean, quite establishment. friendly and helpful staff.
It is well-located in CWB with a walking distance to good reastaurants, Times Square, MTR station even the bus stop is few walks a way. However, with no signage up on the street, it is kinda not easy to find. The staff are accomodating and responsive and the room cleaner did well. As for the amenities, i commend the hot and cold shower as it did not fail us. It was also nice to see an outlet for usb cables and extra slippers. It had a good airconditioning system and a tv but with no remote. We had a bunk bed and a regular bed but we still had an ample space to move around. Overall, we had a comfortable stay. Thank you!
The elevator a bit old but better than ChongQing Mansion, have to press the password first to enter the mansion. The room is bigger than those in Tsim Sha Zui. The floor is mopped by too much soap. Got a lot of plug to charge phone. Can ask for more key, towel, free refill water and mineral water. The receiption is chinese easy to talk to. The bathroom is big enough and provided shampoo and hair dryer. Fridge is prepared.
Very near in restaurants and mtr very nice place we will come back again in this hostel
Good location, easy to get anywhere. The room is small but has everything.
Location is perfect for travellers and tourist alike. Near shopping centers and restaurants. You will get your value for your money.
Rude staff, otherwise ok.
Very convenient, everything you need just one step away in Causeway bay
we were pleasantly surprised with our room. it was good enough for 4 even though we booked for 3 persons only. location was definitely a star as it was only a block away from the mtr and a corner away from the bus stop. also, it was very near to restaurants/bakeries/food streets.
Not so bad 。 budget hotel . Cheap and good location
It was quite a trouble to find the hostel as there is no sign for it. You just gotta follow your instinct and ask people. The room was reasonable size compared to the cage living culture in HK. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby.
I was inside the bathroom, no ventilation at all. The door was not the correct size, , once you fully close the door , it can’t open from inside neither from outside too. Luckily my son still in the room, he went to reception for help. You can imagine if no one in the room to help, what will happened.
The location is near to MTR station and the environment of the room is nice. We were given a new room with window and the size of the room is considered ok. Remember to rent a hair dryer from receptionist with some deposits or else you will have to go to the reception for twice as your room and reception are located at different floor, which means you will have to wait long for the lift twice.
The staff is too unprofessional. She shouted at us when she knew that we were 4 (2 adults, 2 young children) occupying the room. It was stated in the house rules that children ages 3-12 can stay for free provided that they will be using the same beddings. we had to pay an additional of 100HKD or else they wont accommodate us. Worst experience ever.
I booked a room with a one bed, paid a bit extra for more space. When I checked in, was told no such room available. I was asked to stay in the room with two beds each about 30 inches in width. And I was told they got the record that I paid for a bigger room. On the next day, I was told the room would be available around 1:30 PM. At about 2:30 PM, the room was available which was smaller than the previous one, with one bed about 48 inches of width. I could hardly move in the room. When I asked about the room I paid extra for. I was told that's their standard room, every room with the same size and there was no extra payment for more space. Of course that was a lie. I stayed there for 28 nights and I found mine was the smallest. When I asked for the electric kettle as the first room. I was told my room didn't support the voltage.... The only advantage was the location. Unfortunately I had paid for full payment for 28 nights.
The rate is cheap. Very close to MTR/bus stations. But the room has no fridge, no chair, no table, no towel etc, not even a cup. And there is no cleaning service too, and it's very noisy, so one has to think twice when you book this hostel. No cleaning of the room during my stay for a period of 17 days. What they do is only clearing my rubbish bin everyday. Hair dryer for public is just placed outside my room. Whenever somebody uses the hair dryer, I can hear the noise which is very annoying. Whenever my neighbour uses the toilet, I can hear some loud noise believed to be from the water tank, and very often this happens in the late evening close to midnight. Very noisy when the other people from the other rooms on the same floor are talking. Most of the time, I am going to North Point, so this is the only advantage coz I can save a lot of transportation fees. But the problem is I can't sleep well most of the nights due to the noise. Hope my review can help the others to decide better.
It was nice hostel but only the matter was during my stay there were bad neighbors right next to my door. You can hear everything what people does, assume wall between the rooms are not done with sound absorb treatment or something. Reception counter only can speak CHINESE!!!!
good location. you cant expect more spacious space in Hong Kong
Everything is oke not bad
WiFi is not bad
Staff is helpfull, near mrt, location is oke
Location is good,
Good location, room is small, staff is helpfull
The hotel is location 2 blocks beside President Theaters behind The Exelsior. The stuff will clean your trash everyday when you not inside the room (but dont worry if you dont like the stuff coming when you going outside, you can tell them). Is lil bit hard to communicate with the stuff with English. But for all everything going well when I stay in there
Their selling point is only location. Everything else is below average.
Convenience Front desk n room service very friendly Room is quite big compare with standard of hongkong
near to shopping center and mtr
The hostel is at good location. It is near Causeway bay station Exit D and bus stop. I booked double room and asked them for room with windows when I checked in. The staff is very nice. She found the room with window for me and brought me to the room. The room is small but clean, comfortable and safe. They cleaned up room every day. I will stay again when I come to HK next time.
Good location , good service , cheap , worth to the stay
Good
Nice location, all things need to deposit, pay at hotel, small room,
Convenience for shopping and tasting the best foods near Causeway HK.
Good location and convenient for bus going to airport. Just had some problem with the staff because they are Chinese and couldnt understand English.
Good
I have always at hostels that this chain operates. Responsible professional. Manager Shirley looks after guests and upkeep the place to great details. Highly recommended.
We stayed for 6 nights and they did not even change sheets or cleaned the room. They empty the trash bin every day but they don't even sweep the floor. But hostel is OK if you'll just use the room to store things, take a bath, and sleep.
Nice
comfortable, cheap and clean
Hostel located in an expensive Hong Kong area. Room poorly equipped, we found a much better hostel cheaper elsewhere. Deposit for key and towels. Service in the afternoon was not nice and not helpful. In the morning there were two other nice ladies from service.
Booked Hoi To Hostel for 5D and 4N. But when we got there, we were transferred to another guesthouse which is approximately 10 mins walk. I didn't know what happened to our reservation. The guide's not really good in English and she can't even answer.
located in causeway bay and rooms are good.
How do I sum up my stay? IT WAS WORTH IT Okay, let me break it down to you. Here are the positive things about the Hotel: 1. The women who were there (Chinese) were friendly and accomodating 2. The room is big. It is not traditionally a HK room where the walking space is so small. The room we stayed at has a couch a cabinet. 3. The toilet has also a lot of space. This means big and the drains are working really well. 4. The heater is working and I like their shower design! 5. It was clean and they even gave us free water on our first day. 6. The Hoi to court where the hostel is, is a clean building, unlike Mirador and Chunking, where some tiles are already falling off. 7. This building is also situated where there are a lot of food stalls and street food so it is definitely a check on food. 8. it is also near shopping malls so no worries on keeping yourself entertained with shopping. 9. It's price is very reasonable because, you get 3 star hotel service. Very good!
“非常に満足”
