“Good deal!”

If you don’t mind a bit of dusty Chinese smell, check into this bad boy!

Very satisfied, only wish they had 24hrs room service, but that's minor because you can still have front desk to assist after coffeehouse closed at 10pm. Wished they also had bacons in their breakfast selection.

front office staff is very helpful. but not the concierge staff. when i ask assistance to grab a cab, as it is not so convenient to take on from the lobby, the concierge staff is so rude, ask me do it myself, and he is standing in the lobby doing nothing.. hotel room does not have good air-condition.

Everything was nice. No complain at all. Even the breakfast was just a top up of 40 RMB. Only the name and picture in AGODA is confusing. The hotel is call „Home Fund“ and the picture is also not the correct one. That’s why we had problems to find our hotel in google. Also the mentioned swimming pool was out of service. According to the manager it seems to be closed forever. But could be also a typical language misunderstanding!😜 But aside from that I would recommend it to everybody!

Staff could not speak good English, yet still outstanding. Food is okay, decent, not perfect. Room is very comfy for everybody. Location is so so. The price is quite high for its level. I give it a 4 stars.

“Good business hotel in Nanshan area”

A comfortable stay in a nicely appointed room in this Nanshan hotel. By Chinese standards a good hotel from a Westerner viewpoint. I did not have breakfast at the hotel but did checkout what was offered and I would not have eaten at the buffet and not to 5 star level in that area. Very nice room and good view. OK value.

“Disappointing China”

It was pleasant as the room was great, clean, very large and a fantastic bathroom. But the staff DOES NOT speak English at all and the breakfast is more like a battlefield with typical chinese food only...which might me too heavy for some people.

Not too bad. I enjoyed the spacious room and a good city view from the windows. But the lift was a bit slow and you had to wait for 10 minutes sometimes. They also should provide more facilities such as gyms, entertainment venues etc.

Nice and Soft Bed! It said it is a 5 star hotel, and with the pricing, it is good hotel and I may pick this hotel again in the future, however, the location is not ideal, unless you are going to airport or travel to HK by ShenZhen Bay. It is 1-2 miles away from the tube station, so you need to take taxi to the hotel. I will probably recommend to my friends.

“A pleasant stay”

I had a pleasant stay. Check-in was quick and efficient as was check-out. The room was pleasant, but could use a little facelift, especially the bathtub, to make it seem refreshed. The room set-up was comfortable with lots of space. The wired Internet connection was reliable and quite fast. The hotel is a little out of the way, but is only a short cab ride from Garden City and Shekou Wal-mart.

There was a slight hiccup on arrival as the front desk couldn't find my Agoda booking on their computer system but after 10 minutes and a couple of phone calls the error was rectified. There isn't a great amount to see or do in the immediate vicinity of the hotel but it is very convenient if you are visiting the Nanshan Commercial Area. In the hotel the Japanese BBQ restaurant is well worth visiting and the Chinese restaurant is very popular at lunch time although their dim sum is a little on the heavy side. All in all though a good value hotel with pleasant rooms.

“Nice Hotel and close to Town”

Grand and Clean Hotel with friendly staff around. Very well maintained hotel with an outdoor swimming pool at the 5/F, free of charge for hotel guests. The hotel is next to the supermarket and bus stops. A good location if you want to stay a quite area in Shenzhen...I like this 5 stars hotel with good facilities and will go back to stay again. A very reasonable price for such as good hotel

“Affordable Hotel”

This hotel is quite out of place. Not easy to find food around. Shopping areas are all quite far away... Not a hotel I'll recommend to My friends or relative.

It is an excellent hotel but for the very BAD quality towels. It looked like a towel but it did not function as a towel. Near zero absorption of water so after wiping your body, you are still wet!!! If there is one reason I hesitate to recommend or rebook this hotel, it is the towel. I am really surprised as good and cheap towels are easily available in China.

The experience of my stay is good. The hotel restaurant has a dim sum restaurant on the 2/3 F, it's great if you're a dim sum fan like me. The location is good and easy to get a taxi to go around.

the hotel staff were friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our stay here. there's a fantastic japanese bbq restaurant as well as a large chinese restaurant in the hotel. the buffet breakfast was good with a mixture of western and asian cuisine. not a lot to do in the immediate vicinity but there are one or two restaurants nearby.

“New and Clean Hotel”

Overall the rooms are very clean and well furnished. There is a nice chinese restaurant on the second level which is a plus point. Staff are generally quite helpful but some might it hard to communicate in english. One thing that could be improved is probably free wi-fi which is not available. But overall it was a pleasant stay.

The hotel is nice and clean, but the location is quite far away from city and mall. Not easy to take cab.

The hotel is very new, about 2 years. We got upgraded to executive style when we arrived. The room was very big. The location is okay. It takes about 10 min (w/o traffic) on taxi to Sherkou harbor. The dim sum restaurant was superb, the food and service were great.

The hotel is in a good location with easy access to Hong Kong and local airport and high speed rail station. The rooms are well maintained and look brand new. The rooms comes with high quality toiletries and comfortable robes and slippers. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is good as well. I would highly recommend this hotel.

“nice hotel”

We only stayed here for 1 night because we were heading to guangzhou the day after. We arrived quite late around 12pm and straightly go to bed. We enjoyed the night, since it has quite comfortable bed, nice decor for the bathroom, has bathtub, and internet in the room. Sadly we didn't try for the room service, but the staff was very professional and nice. They're very helpful too. It's worth the money and only 15 minutes away from the shenzhen bay by taxi.

“Old fashioned but new hotel”

A good surprise looking from the front then inside. Spacious room and fresh towels. Good for sightseeing of Nanshan district on high floor. Large windows and office equipment ready in the room. Suitable for business trip or shopping. Big chinese restaurant at 3rd floor, with fair dim sum. A good bargain for the money with agent booking.
