“宮殿近くの安全なロケーション”
宮殿から程近く夜間・一人・女性でなければ安全と思われる立地（それでも21：00以降は出歩かない）。 早朝は宮殿や川沿いのジョギングを楽しめ（横断歩道を必ず使うこと）、私は行ってないがナイトクラブなどもと保険と思われる（但し、夜間、スマホを片手にぶらぶらと歩くことは絶対にお勧めできない）。 朝食のバッフェは種類も（プノンペンにしてた）多く、美味しい。 プールサイドおよび屋上のバーは22：00まで楽しめる。 ５階にあるジムは川を見ることができる借景で豪華。 agodaの予約で安い部屋があるとすれば１階の眺望は望めない部屋であるが、十分な広さはあるのでその覚悟さえあればリーズナブルと思われる。

五階にある2LDKのスイートに宿泊。 部屋は綺麗で広く、メコン川が目の前に広がる。 プールもジムも綺麗で良かった。 そしてなんと言ってもここの一番良かった点はご飯が美味かったこと。朝ごはんも夜のルームサービスも最高だった。ごはんのためにまた来たいくらい。 マイナス点はマッサージが割高なところ。あとサウナも30分12.5ドルはぼったくりレベル。それ以外は総じて良かった。

“プールとスタッフの笑顔が最高でした”
ビジネスで使用しました。東南アジアには何度か出張で行っていますが、仕事の合間に入るプールが大好きです。パレスゲートホテルさんのプールは写真からも分かるように、南国の雰囲気が感じられて最高でした！またスタッフの方の笑顔が素敵で、こういうスタッフが多いホテルは教育が行き届いている証です。また、リバーサイドも近いですし、Grabを使えばすぐにどこにでも行けるので立地も問題ありません。敢えてマイナス面を挙げるとすれば、新しい建物ではないため奥ゆかしさが少し感じられるところはあります。ですが、全体のコスパを考えるとオススメのホテルです。

“コスパは良くない”
立地は王宮のすぐ横で観光には便利です。 歴史あるホテルなのか、どうしても設備の古さは感じました。スタッフの対応も悪くもないけど愛想がいいわけでもなく…ロイヤルスイートを利用しましたが、室内も普通でちょっとコスパ悪さを感じました。 あとシーツや枕カバーから少し生乾きの臭いがして不快でした。さらに夕方の外出中に勝手に部屋に入られ(スパの案内を置きにきた様子)スリッパや水などの位置を変えられたのも少し嫌でした。 良かったのは朝食と館内の美術品くらいでしょうか。あと事前にメールなどで予約確認などあったので安心感はありました。 でも最近はボケンコンエリアなどに新しいホテルも増えているので、個人的には4つ星でも新しい方に泊まった方が満足度は高い気がしました。

スタッフの対応はかなり良いです。フロント、ルームサービス 朝食バイキングは良いですが、この金額ではまあまあかな？連泊すると若干飽きます。 ホテル内にATM有り。入り口が大きく分けると２箇所（細かくは３箇所）あり王宮側は本当に目の前です。 王宮観光出口の前がホテルです。夕方になると民族衣装をきた男性が木琴を奏でてくれます。注意：女性を連れ組む人がいましたがIDカードは不可。女性もPassPortが必要でもめていましたが帰って行きました。

空港送迎（片道）15＄×２。チェックイン時にスタッフに支払いを済ませたが、チェックアウト時に再度支払いを求められ、いくら弁明してもビデオを見せられ弁解の余地なし。数秒のビデオ。しかし、チェックイン時までの20数分間のビデオチェックは無し。こんなひどい仕打ちを受けたのは初めて。もし、個人で泊まるのであれば現金支払いやカードレス支払いは要チェックされたし。プノンペンの印象が変わりました。二度と行きません。

“立地、設備の素晴らしいホテルです”
立地は王宮裏で申し分無いです。 朝食もバラエティー豊富でとても美味しいです。マンゴーも沢山有りました。プールも広く、特に夜はライトアップされ人も少ないので泳ぐのに最適です。 ただ、スタッフが余り親切では無いのと オペレーションが余りちゃんとしていません。それ以外ではとてもオススメ出来ます。

“王宮まで散歩がてらにいけるのはうれしい”
出張の合間に時間をみて散歩がてらに王宮や博物館にいけるのは良かった。博物館で午後７時からやっているクメール舞踊は一見の価値あり。

“素晴らしいホテル、でもスタッフ教育はまだこれからかな”
素晴らしいホテルでした。設備も部屋（ベッドは良かったがシャワー排水は除く）も朝食もとても良かったです。ただ、スタッフ教育は末端まできちんとされていない感じがあり、英語を話すスタッフをすぐ呼ばずに確認しない情報を伝えてくるなど、ホテルの格全体が上がるにはまだしばらくかかる気がしました。

“Palace Gate Hotel & Resort By EHM”
We do not understand why this is rated a 5 star hotel! It's really not, the only great thing is the location where it is walking distance to the Palace and the River front. The staff: In the duration of the stay, we find the staff at the front desk and lobby area cold and dismissive, no greetings, they act busy all the time always looking at the computer screen or their phones and not acknowledging us. We find they tend to be more accommodating to European Guests. However, the friendly staff members are the security guards out front, and the guys opening doors and handling luggage. Housekeeping is not good at all, they seem to only change our towels for us, the linen is scratchy, I have to wipe the floor with a towel to prevent our feet from getting dirty. The shower does not drain correctly, standing water is left on the shower floor. Every night there is loud banging sounds. The room is very outdated and congested. Unfortunately we do not recommend this stay.

“It was nice”
I enjoyed my stay at Palace Gate Hotel & Resort by EHM. It was a bit farther away from the part of town I wanted to be, but it was still a nice place. Would recommend it for tourists that are looking to do touristy things.

“Loving it @ Palace Gate Hotel & Resort By EHM”
My family enjoyed our stay here. Hotel location is ideal. Near many places of interest and Mekong River. Staff are warm and helpful. We feel safe here, esp it was our 1st time visiting Phnom Penh. Will return to this hotel when we visit here again!

“Wedding stay”
It was a wonderful 2-night stay in this hotel. The staff is very kind and attentive. Rooms are daintily decorated, the smell of incense complement the atmosphere. Though the breakfast area is quite small, you will definetely find something for your taste. The pool area creates a filling of being in a jungle. Opt for this hotel, you won't regret.

“Lovely getaway in the middle of the city”
We had a staycation here to enjoy the beautiful pool and buffet breakfast. Neither disappointed. An excellent option close to all of the major sites in Phnom Penh.

“Beautiful Boutique Hotel”
Beautiful small hotel. Centrally located and easily get to places of interest. Rooms are large and showers have good pressure. Only disappointed was that my room faced a wall with scaffolding . Not much natural light. Opposite rooms were all fine. All my group were given these types of rooms. Looks to me that people need to complain to change the rooms. However, few days didn’t matter to us and most of time spent was outdoors. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Breakfast is adequate. Would recommend.
