“The best hostel ever”
The best hostel I have ever stayed. The hostel organised many activities to keep you entertained during your stay. The staff, especially the volunteers, are extremely outgoing and helpful. It’s a friend-and-family run hostel so they know how to make you feel like home. Even though this is a hostel, the bed is super big and comfy. Everything is clean and well-maintained. I love everything about it. For sure I will come back to Vienna and stay in this hostel again. Highly recommended if you look for a place to stay in Vienna.

“Great Find! ”
This is a great hostel! We’ve been backpacking with our two kids (10 & 13) and this was a wonderful stay. Nice and quiet, clean and a true community feel. Lots of great restaurants around, handy bike rental right at the hostel and close to the metro. Comfortable and bright rooms as well. Highly recommend!

“Nice hostel with very good location”
Vienna hostel ruthensteiner lies near to the big station in Vienna, within walking distance. So it is convenient for traveling by public transportation here. The hostel is nice, cosy, clean, and suitable for solo travelers or groups because its common room. You can make friends and chitchat easily. But it is pity that our group did not interact with other travelers due to Covid-19 Omicron. Generally, good stay and worth money.

“a perfect place to stay”
the staffs were nice, the facility was new and clean, other travelers were awesome! I hadn't tried their meals, but it seemed like everyone was satisfied with that! I would stay here again when I come to Vienna next time.

“Nice hostel!”
Located near Tram station or 5mins walk from Westbahnhof. Very cozy dining place and female dormitory, free locker in the garden, bathroom with hair dryer, nice kitchen but crowded, I'll still stay here next time.

“Good hostel”
It was a great hostel with very clean bathrooms and common areas. The garden is really nice and relaxing. I had a private room which was perfect for one person.

“Lovely atmosphere”
The staff was very helpful and friendly, the place is very welcoming and very close to walk-able distance to main city center areas. it's very safe during night to get back if you are going out for a night out.

“One of the best hostels!”
I love how they separate the female dorms in a different building. I love how the layout of the dorm I stayed (Dorm B) - they have a separate section/area for the toilets, so if you don't want to disturb your roommate while packing/unpacking, I suggest you use the area.

“Book it and you will not regret it!”
If I could give more than five stars I easily would. This hostel blows every hostel I’ve been to out of the water!!! I’ll never be satisfied again. I was upgraded for free. Amazing recommendations. Every employee went above and beyond. One of the warmest and most welcoming environments. High quality and clean everything. Easy to access washer and drier (4€ to wash, 2€ to dry). Make sure someone holds your hand through the washing process. Because I didn’t push start enough times it ate my coins and I had to pay 4€ twice. It’s a little bit of a walk into the old town but most of the walk you follow a major shopping street so there’s plenty to distract you. Unlimited free tea and hot cider the whole time. You get so so so much more than your moneys worth. A serious find. Book it and you will not regret it. Made my trip incredible. Good events and family dinner every night. If you want to save money you just donate what you can and eat a group prepared meal.

“The hostel is well managed.”
They host a lot of activities to let travellers know each other and make friends. Furthermore, the location is good for visiting and easy to go and leave. The facilities are also very good.

“Great hostel”
I love everything in the hostel .. Just they do not have elevator, need to carry luggage up to the floor.

Unfortunately, our house is one of these historic 19th Century buildings that are very difficult to renovate - if we wanted to add an elevator, we would have to sacrifice a large section of our garden, which the guests really enjoy, especially in the summer. For now, our solution is to help guests carry their things upstairs whenever they need it - if you do come back to visit, please do ask reception for help with your bags!

“nice room, nice host”
the hostel staff would arrange activities to let travellers social together. the hostel facilities is nice with good design. i would recommend it

“便宜所以不要太期待”
地點方便，距離地鐵及電車只有5分鐘路程，附近共有3條線路。員工友善開朗，有耐心解答問題，還會提供建議及資訊。民宿配套足夠，但設施殘舊，我住的房間地板會發出聲音，床會發出聲音，因為沒有布簾所以其他人的聲音也會滋擾，走廊的聲音也會穿透至房內，所以淺眠的人不可能睡覺/睡得好。另外，浴室及洗手間是共用的，但另設有女生專用的，這一點十分滿意！

Some hostels do try to make each bunk into its own private space, with curtains etc. - the result is often a bit train-cabin-like, and can make it difficult to get to know other people in your room. We've decided to instead keep our rooms friendly and open, while making sure the space is private in other ways (such as keeping the number of beds per room low). “隔音不佳，但每每晩都有活動”
如果你經過長時間飛行，不推薦，因為隔音不好，每晩party到午夜，如果你要party， 交友，這個是好地方，有28时大行李不想遖合，沒有電梯，從west hbf 走來要10 mins, good for backpackers with light luggage

“위치는 멀지만 사람들과 소통하기 좋은 곳”
건물이 여러개 있어서 본 건물이 내 숙소가 아닐 수 있음. 나는 본 건물 맞은편 숙소에서 지냈다. 본 건물에서 맥주를 판매하는데 생각보다 사람이 많아서 거기서 같이 놀 수도 있음! 게임같은 거도 있어서 같이 하면 좋을듯. 난 안 했지만.. 또 다른 곳과는 다르게 식수를 제공해줌. 물론 보틀은 아니고 내가 떠마셔야 함. 근데 단점이라면 비엔나 링에서 꽤 멀다ㅠㅠ 지하철 2번 갈아타야함

“すごく良い”
공용공간이 잘 되어있고 숙소 방도 꽤 넓고 쾌적해요. 카드키로 방문, 락커 다 열리고 화장실도 방마다 있는 거 같습니다. 직원분들이 엄청 친절하시고 제 침대에서 배드버그가 한 마리 나와서(보자마자 휴지로 죽이고 변기에 내렸음) 얘기했더니 새벽 2-3시쯤이었는데도 불구하고 바로 빈 침대 알아봐줘서 방 바꿨습니다. 다음 날 아침에도 청소하는 분이 확인했는데 추가로 발견된 벌레는 없었다고 말해주더라구요. 빈 시내에서는 거리가 있는 편이지만 서역이랑 가깝고 근처에 트램 정류장도 있고 마트도 있습니다.

6인실 10인실 모두 사용해봤는데 전부 다 괜찮았습니다. 우선 침대가 삐그덕거리지않고 매트리스도 다른데보다 푹신했어요! 매일매일 숙소에서하는 액티비티나 커뮤니티디너도 참여하기 좋아요! 트램역이랑 기차역 가까워서 이동도 엄청 편했어요!

“잘 지내다 왔습니다. ”
위치는 주요 관광지에서 좀 떨어져 있습니다만 조용한 동네에 있어서 좋습니다. 직원분들 친절하고 저는 여성 6인 도미토리에 있었는데 방크고 화장실 샤워실도 넓고 깨끗했어요. 다만 조식은 그냥저냥이니 마트에서 사다 드시는걸 추천합니다. 아 그리고 공항버스타는 곳이 가까워서 공항가기 너무나도 편합니다.

지금까지 가본 호스텔 중 가장 친절했습니다. 제가 만난 모든 직원이 친절했습니다. 위생도 괜찮았습니다. 침대에 커튼이 안 달린 점이 아쉽습니다.

“非常に満足”
3인실 썼는데 정말 침대랑 세면대 하나 있습니다. 그래도 복도에 공용화장실이랑 샤워실이 여러 개 있어서 문제 없었어요!~ 아침마다 화장실도 청소해주시는지 쾌적하게 잘 사용했습니다. 스탭 분들도 친절하셔용. 부엌이랑 바도 잘 되어 있어요. 바로 근처에 지하철역이랑 트램 정류장 있어서 관광지까지 20분 안에 다 이동 가능했습니다. 주변에 마트도 많고 맥도날드도 있고 생각보다 괜찮았어요~

건물자체도 상당히 오래된데다 전반적으로 지저분하고 씻는곳은 겨우 서있을수만 있을정도로 굉장히 좁음. 침구 얼룩덜룩하고 지저분했고 방 온도도 적절하지않았음. 직원도 안내 해주는둥 마는둥 귀찮아보였고 불친절했음.

가격 대비 최상의 컨디션이라고 생각합니다. 다만 2층 침대가 너무 높아서 키 작은 사람은 올라가기가 너무 힘드네요 ㅠ 2층 좋아하시는 분 아니라면 1층으로 배정해달라구 말하세요!

10인 도미토리였는데 방은 4인, 6인으로 중간에 문으로 나뉘어 있었어요. 게스트 주방도 쓰기 편하고 깨끗해요. 다만 10명이 쓰는 샤워실이 1개고 샤워부스가 좀 좁아요.

오스트리아 물가치고 가격대비 굉장히 만족합니다 교통이 잘되있어 어디든 가기 편하며 공용시설및주방이 굉장이 좋아요 제가 묵은방은 4인실 좁은편이었는데 다른방은 좀 넓은데도 있긴하더군요 단 샤워룸이 일본화장실보다 작아요 관에서 들어가 씻는줄 바닥에 비누 떨어지면 줍기도 불편합니다 그거 빼곤 최고에요

Super propre, convivial, jardin agréable et petits déjeuners délicieux, je recommande sans hésiter. Pour se rendre au centre il vous faudra néanmoins marcher une bonne trentaine de minutes. Proche de la gare ouest pour ceux qui viennent en train.

“Not in central Vienna but it has everything and is really clean!”
About 30 mins travel to the ringstrasse. There is a transportation pass which you can purchase from the reception which is cheaper than retail! The hostel is very clean and spacious. There’s everything you need. Lockers for storage, kitchen, beer brewery etc. There are events everyday which you could participate in. I was coping with jetlag so I slept pretty early everyday. However I could tell the people were enjoying themselves! It was a great stay and I highly recommended this place 😄
