Great location to experience a village like atmosphere of Double Bay. Harbour on your doorstop, great shopping and super restaurants and close to the city. The hotelnis a wonderful haven with a fantastic rooftop deck and pool.

“Excellent staffs and services”
A surprise in the room for our wedding anniversary!!! Very good services and excellent staffs made everything so different. Restaurant inside the hotel is good too, dinner and breakfast 👍And don’t forget to go to the rooftop swimming pool, excellent view there! Have a cocktail and enjoy the sun! We will stay here again definitely!!

“Nice”
nice, great location, friendly staff. just wasn't the room we had selected - apparently they take no responsibility for the photo attached to the room selection and the fact they don't match (apparently not their responsibility). So just the room not a suite :(

“Great value for money!”
Friendly and accommodating staff despite the covid restrictions, great dinner at Stillery but amazing breakfast even though no buffet available nowadays. Great experience overall and good value for money. On a constructive side, rooftop a bit squashed, drinks took ages to be served and room needs some small touches (tapestry that comes off) Will recommend for anyone that wants a pleasant experience in the heart of Double Bay.

“Be careful of extra charges”
We stayed at the hotel for my birthday as we couldn't go overseas/interstate because of COVID. We found it to be a hit or miss. When we arrived there was nobody at the entrance for valet parking so we had to park in the Wilson carpark. During our first night we realised one of the lights in the hallway wouldn't turn off. We called reception to fix it and when they came they placed cardboard over the top to block the light however this was not fixed during our stay. We also noticed stains on the table in our room. Some of the staff weren't very friendly and didn't inform us of items that were additional costs. This occurred when we had high tea (had to pay extra for champagne) and during breakfast (paid extra for fruit). I understand that the way breakfast is served had to be changed because of COVID but I felt that they took advantage of the situation by charging extra for additional items (normally breakfast is all inclusive and you can have as much as you want). Overall it is a nice hotel in a good location but I expected a lot more from a five star hotel.

“Average all round. Service is below standard ”
Many miscommunications with staff and hotel is run down and lacking any service atmosphere. Everyone doing there job but as for hospitality there are many better options out there ...

“Great hotel, good service... BUT”
Service was good, nice clean hotel... But compared to all other Intercontinental Hotels I have stayed at, The breakfast was below the standard by a long way. I have never stayed at an Intercon with this low level of brekki. No fresh serve eggs, omelettes....Messy, slow service for coffee. Lack of choice except a western style breakfast. It actually reminded me of a Holiday Inn or similar.

“Absolutely luxurious room!! ”
Absolutely luxurious room!! Just a few negatives. Pricey mini bar and room service, uncomfortable pillows and the hot water in the shower takes some time to heat up. I would definitely stay again and would encourage others to stay too.

“I had a really good time.”
I had a really good time in the beautiful roof top pool. The pool is small but has great views. Breakfast was delicious and room service food was delicious, too. location is near the city. but It is better for travelers who do not like loud noise. Even you don't have a car, There is a ferry station nearby so it is not inconvenient.

First class refurbishment, very clean and contemporary look and feel, excellent breakfast, very quiet room and will definitely stay again particularly as it was about 60% the price of a 5 star hotel in the CBD.

“high quality experience!”
We had a one night stay but wished we stayed longer. Courtyard suite was spacious and comfortable. Check in was delayed however we were compensated with complementary room service dinner. We had club lounge access, enjoyed twilight drinks in the evening, breakfast the following morning and high tea in the afternoon. Wonderful stay highly recommended!

“Elegant little getaway from the busy dirty city”
Beautiful, Peaceful, High ClassAt first, the price seemed quite high, but the standard upheld at the hotel is really worth it. Staff is very professional and friendly, environment is much more classy than the typical hilton or four seasons. Food is beautiful. Not very pleased about the rotten banana at breakfast but that's just a small thing. Room was good, views and comfort depends on which room you book. The cheapest one has slightly rough bedding and views of the courtyard is not good (others look directly into your room). A shame that the weather was so bad, couldnt even get a glimpse of the rooftop pool. Next time :)

“Comfortable & great location”
Room faced West on courtyard so blinds need to be blockout all afternoon & room gets HOT. Otherwise comfortable and located a short walk to everything in the Bay.
