“Worst night sleep”
The room was so hot we couldn't get heater to turn off. We rang reception for help eventually an hour in a sauna later we finally got some relief. Booked as it was close and easy to get a taxi to concert. Location and staff ate fantastic. Bed was so uncomfortable. My husband and I had the worst night sleep as bed far to soft. Plus room still too warm. Won't be going back.

“Business Traveller”
I have stayed here several times, but on this occassion, it wasn't a delightful experience. Missed houekeeing equals ignorance and I would appreciate if the staff can just be a bit more careful and courteous.

“Beautiful short geaway ued”
We had an awesome time. It smells pretty nice everywhere in the hotel. Very close to the dfo south wharf.

Our stay was excellent. The hotel staff were exceptional and facilities and location really good. Definitely value for money. Highly recommend this place!

Very comfortable clean with an amazing gym. Perfect location highly rrecommend the Melbourne Cellar Door for dinner and drinks which is only a short 30 second walk away

“Nice experience ”
The main thing need to consider is the location. Everytime if you need to go to a place, you need to walk as least 10minutes to free tram station or 15-20mins to southern cross, I feel very tired to walk from and back to hotel everyday if you are not driving with your own car or Uber. But the experience with staff is great, they are very friendly and nice.

“Convenient, well appointed stay”
Nice rooms in great city location, was great value for money compared to similar hotels. Room service menu is expensive but the food was delish. The only facility lacking is a pool area.

Stayed 1 night to go see the weeknd at marvel. Great location, great rooms. Prices were slightly higher than normal as were everywhere in Melbourne cbd though. Will definitely be back soon

“Clean & fresh modern style - perfect for guests with vehicles”
We were travelling with a rental car around Melbourne, and the Novotel South Wharf offers the most ideal location balancing easy access to CBD, and a reasonably priced carpark for overnight stay. The hotel does offer overnight parking at the closest DFO/Wilson Parking if you don't wanna be bothered. For those who don't mind walking 5mins via the indoor DFO car park, you can use the open-air car park on Montague Street. On Google Map, it might look far but there's a shortcut via DFO car park once you are on site. Hope this helps!

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and tidy amenities good. Little bit of road noise from the highway but you don’t hear the adjoining rooms. Only downfall is multiple lifts required to get to reception and rooms.

Stayed with older children when I visited Melbourne. Hotel is lovely and clean, staff were wonderful. Room was as advertised without deception. Would like to go back and use the restaurant/room service, menu sounded delicious.

“Reset time ”
I sayers a few nights just to reset and have some “Me time”. Was a perfect spot. Left the car in the parking, taxi or walk everywhere. Great location, bed was good. 26th floor, good views and quite. Only down side was parking price at the end. Should be free if staying ATG the hotel.

“Rooms not big enough”
The location is great if you have something on at the Melbourne exhibition centre and the staff are great. Travelling with 10 year old and book a room with 2 beds. The beds are not bigger enough for two adults. Only have the buffet if it’s included in the price or on special.

“Ideal spot for South Warf”
Excellent customer service from the moment you step into the hotel. Breakfast offers a great choice and even has GF options. Position is great for Lume, South Warf restaurants and DFO if you want to shop. Southbank is a short walk away.
