“Excellent Service!”
Good value for money. Also excellent service received. We had a mishap in the room as our 5yrs old suddenly vomited while on the bed just watching tv. Housekeeping changed all the linens with smile and timely manner. No extra charge and very understanding. Of course we gave a tip of the lovely person who cleaned up for us that evening.

“Perfect getaway”
I recently had an amazing stay at the Hyatt Place, staff were great - the room was perfect..couldn't fault it.

Great hotel, great location. Recommend using Uber rather than a taxi if you were wanting to go to the nearby DFO 😊

“Just what you need”
Great service, comfy beds and pillows, delicious food and great cocktails! I highly highly recommend it. (I recommend the cosmopolitans!)

“Unexpected Gem.”
Overnighted before golf trip to King Island from Essendon. An easy walk although shuttle is available. Cannot find fault, Mc Crackens restaurant delivered a steak to die for with a reasonably priced enjoyable red to wash it down. Would most definitely return.

“Great place to stay”
Staff at reception were confused. Didn’t really know what they were talking about They told me I had no booking Then we’re willing to talk money off me again for the room when I already paid Thanks agoda for a great deal but something to look at from a customers behalf staff had no idea

“Nice hotel but disappointed about advertised "free" shuttle”
I was deciding btwn Hyatt Place, Holiday Inn and Parkroyal and decided on Hyatt Place, because it was newer and had offered free shuttle. The room is big with nice showers and sofa. .However would not return nor recommend this place for these reasons: a) The room's air-conditioning had major issues whereby if you're not moving around, the power will cut off. I didn't know about this until I was in my bed, sleeping and realised that the aircon suddenly switches off. When I called the reception, they said to set it to auto, which I did, but it still did not work. Since I am aready in my pyjamas and I was really tired and travelling alone, I decided to sleep in a stuffy room rather than wait for them to come and fix. Maybe a big sign to tell the occupants that the aircon is movement sensitive would be good. b) There are funny noises during the night, sounded like pipes having issues. Too tired to further investigate or call the front desk, as its late. Hence, for a and b, I ddi not have a good night sleep despite a very comfortable bed. c) The next morning, about 45 mins, before the "free" shuttle arrives at 3.30pm, I was told that they tried to call me (I was seating in the lobby for about half an hour before that, trying to re pack my luggage) as the shuttle had another booking, and if I mind taking the next shuttle. I can't as I had planned to arrive to the airport 3 hours before hand, as I was told that the immigration q was long, and was rather upset as I had, upon arrival the day before, booked the shuttle to leave at this particular timing. I doubt v. much they tried to call me, and if so, they would have notice me seating there in the lobby and since i got my luggage back (they had kept for me while I went outside for about an hour). Anyway, when I suggested that they paid for my cab fare, the lady was not very happy about it as she said it was first come first served basis and it wasn't "free" (?) I told her it was clearly stated "free" and I had book

“Clean, Tidy but staff require some training”
Hotel was in a great location, easy to find and straight off hwy. Clean and tidy well looked after. Staff only downfall took over 15 mins standing at front counter for someone to acknowledge I was standing there. There was 3 people at desk - 2 on the phone and 1 just standing around.
