“Must stay”
We arrived late and worn out. the staff organised to get our keys for us from another location. They offered to get the chef to hold our meals until we were settled even though it was closing time for the kitchen.

“Check in is down the road a bit ”
Thankfully I rang reception as we were going to be late as some of the information about check in doesn't come through. You need to check in at the Mercure reception down the road, the lady was lovely and really helpful

“A great base to experience the local wineries. ”
Being at one end of Broke Road made this a convenient base for our tour of the local wineries. The Villa-like accommodation was clean and spacious. Check in was at the Mercure next door which could have been more plainly explained but apart from this it was a wonderful experience

“Quick Getaway”
For a last minute overnight getaway this was a perfect place to stay. it was value for money and with the pub right on site it made grabbing a meal very easy. Will be back.

“Rooms Need a huge overhaul”
This has been a favourite for many years which this is the last time we will stay here as the age of the rooms is well past an overhaul. The mattresses are way too soft as well. The grout in the bathroom tiles is dirty and the bathroom cabinetry is super worn. To check in you have to drive down the road to Mercure to get the key. The bars queues are 10+mins to get a beer, the staff and food are great. There is no technology in the rooms eg usb

“Homely clean, spacious. ”
We enjoyed staying at Harrigans. Super close to Hunter Valley Gardens. Really nice unit. A broken hinge was fixed immediately when we reported it. The pool was nice, clean and some chairs to lounge on while the kids swam. Clean towels every day, pool towels supplied. Comfortable beds. Kangaroos in the garden. The pub was great for dinner. We will be back. Thank you to the staff, all so friendly. :-)

Fansatic location with clean rooms, and great value for money. The facilities were good overall but could use a small improvement. Harrigans Irish Pub and Accomodation is a top choice for families looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

“early clean up”
went out at 5am to watch sunrise then go for early breakfast and drive arounf came back to the room at 9am and alreaddy started cleaning the room our drinks were gone and beds stripped curtains removed, feelin a bit sleepy so had another 1 hour sleep then left , If you do that may be put do not disturb on the door so when you come back you can use your room, just needed a little more cleaning. great spot good pub

“Stay at Harringtons Hunter Valley ”
The room and the location was very good, but the checkin experience was very poor. We landed at the motel and found there was no reception area. I went to the pub and they told us to go back in the main road and turn right, even with the direction we could not find the place, we rang and no one answered nor responded to our message. After googling we found that we had to go the Mercure hotel to checkin. Overall a very bad experience during checkin.

“Fun night away”
The room was basic but good, beds were clean and comfortable. There was a gorgeous outlook to the vineyard and the pool was lovely. The only issue was the room had a very strong bleach odour from the bathroom.

“Fancy”
The rooms were large, clean and quiet even with the bands on the property. The outlook over the vines with Kangaroos hopping round made the stay relaxing. Meal prices a bit pricey but the restaurant was busy. Guiness pie a must.

“Great place”
Great place for the money. Nice and clean room, beautiful view. Saw some kangaroos. Good sized pool. My daughter loved it. It’s a little noisy at nights due to live music at the pub. But it is expected. Located close to a few things we wanted to do.

“Harrigans Hotel Hunter Valley”
Convenient place to stay. Veranda & outdoor settings could do with a bit more cleaning, full of leaves & webs. Inside unit was clean, beds were comfy, carpet was new, fridge was noisy. Excellent undercover parking in front of unit, as weather was tempremental. Pub was very convenient & busy, the night-life of the town. Food was average.

“Close to everything ”
Nice sized room, bed was a little too soft for our liking. Nice bathroom, shower had great pressure and nice to have some bench space for storing things. Nice to look out to the winery. Tv was very quiet on certain channels.

“Bakes Motel”
Thought it would convenient to stay somewhere close to the venue but didn’t expect to be backing onto the pub itself. Walked terrible odour and questionable stain on main bed, walked straight out again and booked down the road. You really do get what you pay for but thought the standard would have been higher.

“Great value”
The property offers excellent value for money and boasts a prime location. While cleanliness and staff service could be improve. There should he a sign that says check in at Mericure and not at Harrigans. This was the big hassle we faced on the day. When you were in a car long drive, you would want to just relax a few hours on bed especially if you’re the driver. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

“Check-in hard work”
There was no onsite reception and electronics check in meant that only 1 person could get in the room which was difficult for a group of 4 people. For a place this size a proper reception desk would be much better.

“Hunter stay”
Our studio room had alot of issues that needed to be addressed. We were given another much nicer studio room in a nicer spot which was lovely. The staff at Harrigans were fantastic with trying to resolve the problems and thank you to mercure, who now handle bookings, for changing our room. Food at harrigans is great

“Worst house on the best street ”
So disappointed. Harrigans is prime location and could be an amazing place to stay. Unfortunately its in need of a major revamp. Ive stayed in nicer rooms in India. The food is disgusting actually got out money back on the dinner however it didn't stop me feeling sick for the rest of my stay. There was one manager Shawn who was lovely apologetic abd understanding the other elderly female manager should not be in her position as she was so rude and definitely escalated the situation she sould be fired. Despite having a massive reception area you have to go a kilometre up the road to the mecure to check in and out. This establishment is an embarrassment to the hunter Valley

We are in the middle of a revamp with our furniture which will be delivered soon. We do not have a reception any longer at Harrigan's which is why all our check ins for both of our hotels is at Mercure, we are also open at 7am till 10pm having reception at Mercure so Harrigan's guest no longer have to wait until 9am to talk to staff and closing at 5pm. “Great Value”
The accommodation is spacious, extremely comfortable and clean. It's a little old but well maintained. The pool is beautiful. Pokolbin is a great location when visiting the Hunter for wineries and the Gardens. The pub food is very highly recommended.

“Harrigans Hunter Valley ”
We only had the 1 issue. We did not receive a Email to let us know to go to the Mercure Reception to pick up our key. Otherwise it was perfect

“Soooo comfy”
Had a great night sleep in the very comfy bed. Great value and convenient location. Pool looked amazing, too bad I was there in winter. Would definitely return.
