“Gorgeous hotel”
Amazing historic building, spacious, well appointed rooms with all the mod cons. Incredible views and the best spot by Salamanca wharf and battery point cafes. Service is wonderful. Loved every minute of it

“Outstanding hotel in a great location ”
Lenna is a spacious hotel with large rooms and well equipped ensuites. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is delicious. You are right next to Salamanca promenade so it is a great location. Nice views over constitution dock from the bedroom window

“Lovely hotel”
Stayed here just for a night in winter but location was excellent. It was quiet, beds were comfy, room was warm. The walk up and down the hill to the hotel is quite difficult for me as I have MS and arthritis but that wasn't the hotels fault. We'd definitely stay here again

“A little tired hotel”
Hotel feels a bit tired and a somewhat disjointed. Entry to our room via an overpass corridor entering what seem seemed like something at a university dorm . Not 4+ star. Rooms clean but no wow/nice feel. Staff great . Quaint bar and good location.

“Lovely Lenna”
Everything about Lenna was perfect for us. After a 24 hour fay of travel it was warm and welcoming. Staff is so genuine, location is the best. We liked it so much we scheduled to return in a week and cancelled our reservation at the Tasman. The Lenna is more our style and a better location for us.

Such an easy and central place stay with free parking. Staff are welcoming and friendly. Would recommend Lenna Hotel.

“Lenna is great”
Situated just off Salamanca Place, Lenna is a lovely old property at the top of a small hill, but with all the modern conveniences. Staff at reception and breakfast were courteous and very helpful. Good value for money.

“Overpriced”
Great location, lovely bar (no dedicated bar staff), no bath, shower cap or hair-dryer, room nothing special, average breakfast. Pleasant enough hotel but not worth the money.

“Lovely stay ”
Perfect location in Hobart, with Salamanca square right at the door step. Only annoyance was people (guest/staff?) attempting to open our room. Someone actually opened the door whilst we were in, unsure if it was staff. Slightly concerning security/privacy wise.

“Last night in Hobart ”
Stayed here for our last night as we weren't disappointed. The room, the location cannot be faulted. A quick walk around the corner and you're in the main Salamanca precinct. Will stay again.

“Short Stay”
Although we stayed for only 1 night, we would have loved to stay for a few days longer. Beautiful location, lovely staff and will definitely be returning as soon as we can.

“M.A. Wilkins”
I booked the room for my daughter and her partner as a surprise 30th birthday celebration. I live in the U.K. but the hotel were so easy easy to communicate with and managed to organise flowers and a bottle of sparkling wine in the room for their arrival. My daughter and partner thoroughly enjoyed their stay and we were very happy we were able to surprise them from across the otherside of the world!

“Beautiful hotel, great location ”
We stayed here twice while in Tasmania. It's a beautiful hotel in a prime location. The rooms are large, the bathrooms are also large with a great shower. They have a guest laundry, which ideal when travelling. The location of this hotel is prime, just around thecornee

Lenna is a first class and enjoyable experience. Excellent staff.. One would recommend that grab rails should be provided in the walk in showers as a safety precaution. The step down is a problem for people of some age. and there was no soap dish in room 19 in the shower.

“Excellent location and hotel”
Fantastic location; very helpful and polite staff; comfortable and well maintained. A really nice place to stay. Even with Dark MOFO on...you could only hear it slightly in the background and so was great for being so 'quiet', but also very close to the centre of the city. Definitely recommended.

“Great stuffs in the vicinity! ”
Our stay in Lenna was great. It was less than 5 minutes walk to the Salamanca market that opens every Saturday and was about 10 minutes walk to Da Angelos - #1 restaurant for dinner recommended by Trip Advisor.

“Great location & quality accommodation ”
Perfect spot to base yourself when exploring Hobart city and surrounds. A stones throw from the harbour and around the corner from Salamanca markets. Many fine eateries, bars and boutique shopping within walking distance.

“Lovely place to Stay”
Great location in Salamanca. Two parts to the hotel - an old large house which shows you the Hobart of old. The bar and breakfast are here. Then the newer tower next door with the rooms. Comfortable and well kept.

“Remember to ask if the room has a bath”
In the majority of ways this is a great place to stay. The staff are fabulous. The location is great. Unfortunately there is no bath in the "mountain view" room. Something I love to have whilst I'm away. For a regular room like the "mountain view" this could be a question I should have asked. My sister however was staying in one of the two penthouses. We were shocked to discover only one of the penthouses has a bath. Staying in a penthouse this is not a question one should have needed to ask! I think most people would agree it would be an expectation. Also the bathroom is definitely big enough to include a bath. What were they thinking!!! She was returning from the three capes walk and each of her family staying in the penthouse were really looking forward to soaking in a bath. They opted not to ask to swap penthouses for the sake of the environment not for the sake of the hotel.

Central location to excellent restaurants with great outlook from Hotel. The staff were both friendly and professional. A bonus was the 24 hour reception especially when flying in late and getting to hotel well past 11pm. Room was appointed with above average amenities. I would recommend this hotel to any international tourist shopping around for best comparison prices Regards M

Hotel building is beautiful. The room is spacious and clean. Hotel is nicely located, within walking distance to Salamanca Market, the wharf and the historic old town tour. Staff are friendly.

“Super friendly staff, clean room and good location”
We went for 16 days in Aussie, and our first destination was Hobart. We were greeted warmly on arrival. The staff was very friendly. He helped us in everywhere he can, such as lending us adaptor and guide us how to set the GPS on our car. Upon entering the room, we were surprise to see a bottle of red wine, a token from the hotel for our honeymoon celebration. The room is spacious and clean, it looked just like newly renovated. We have a wonderful stay there for 4D3N. Best hotel to choose when u go to Hobart. Near to Salamacca (3-5 mins walk) and many pubs/cafes nearby. Highly recommended. Thank you Lenna of Hobart Hotel.

“Comfortable clean very good location”
Location is super good, walking distance to everywhere! But may be a little difficult for people with very big luggages as carpark to entrance is a steep slope. But everything else is very good!

“Beautiful old hotel in fantastic location”
We had a mixed experience at Lenna, the grounds and buildings are beautiful and the location is amazing, probably one of the best in Hobart. However we were placed in the newer wing of the hotel in a "courtyard" room (ie., basement) and while the room was clean and comfortable, it didn't match the exterior (more like a motel room) and wasn't at all what I expected for the price range and description of the hotel. While we had a pleasant stay and loved the location right next to Battery Point and Salamanca Market, we wouldn't choose Lenna again in Hobart.
