“Fabulous ”
The River view rooms are awesome! The others that face the car park not so much. I stayed in both due to last minute change of plans. Service at reception was great, as was the restaurant food. Room service food was disappointing, and expensive. Bar staff could have been a little more attentive... had to ask for bar to be wired down, then for a drinks menu, then to order... Overall 4 stars out of 5.

“Novotel Devonport”
They gave us a room with nice view providing scenic picture of cruise & marine ships entering/leaving harbour. The carpark (pay AUD10) was nearby. Breakfast was good. Location was even better.

“Reliable”
I’m pleased that my stay at Novotel Devonport is as reliable and comfortable since the last time I was here. The front staff were kind, pleasant, and hospitable. Over the last two years I have been travelling quite a bit and more often than not I have to stay in a hotel the day before flying and day of arrival. This is at my own cost, and it is good value and money well spent. Check in, room service, good night sleep and check out. I cannot complain. The Novotel and other Accor hotels do not disappoint (except ibis).

“Good”
Initial mix up in our room where we were moved down to second floor (due to being overbooked I assume). Quick to fix the issue however compromised on bed configuration. Room was clean, disappointing size of bar frid, not even a shelf, but two doors 🤔. Tight on available cutlery/amenities, surprising considering the advertised “luxury”. Bed was soft/confortable. The heaters take FOREVER to warm the room, also surprising considering the subzero temperatures of Tas. No idea on facilities as I didn’t notice any signage for any nor did I look though. Location, well, it’s Devonport. So rather relaxed and easy to get around being a smaller town. Parking is atrocious. Restaurant was disappointing. And overpriced. Overall 6.5/10.

“Novatel Devonport city centre.”
Recently stayed for the night while visiting the Jazz Festival. Close to everything. Overlooking a lovely board ward along the river. Close to good quality restaurants. Would recommend to others. Would stay again.

“Good location with clean room”
Room is clean, beds are comfy, location is good with shopping street at the opposite. Breakfast served with Asian food taste nice. Only downside is there is no free parking. Staff is friendly and helpful.

“Great rooms with lovely outlook”
This is a very pleasant hotel in a great spot to explore Devonport on foot and most rooms have great views. I was in a pleasant room but the TV didn't work so they immediately moved me to an even nicer room with great view. All staff were very friendly and helpful. As a vegetarian would appreciate few more options for restaurant/room service. Would definitely stay again

“Air conditioner not working”
Checked in and after waiting to be served I stepped forward to see an employee behind a pillar. I apologised to the person I front of me who was extremely busy, for not going to the other person as I hadn’t seen them behind the pillar. He checked me in whilst the other person just tapped away nonchalantly. She then said loudly I accept your apology. I mean what? How rude to her colleague and to me, why didn’t she offer to help out! I then went to my room and walked into 27.5 degrees, I fiddled with the air conditioning unit to get it to work and quickly realised why it wasn’t on, the noise! I left for a walk returning 1 hour later and it was still sitting at 24 degrees, I tried calling reception, housekeeping anyone but no answer! I did some work then ordered dinner, when the room service arrived I raised the noise with the staff member who said he’d report it and get someone. No one came.

“Nice and clean hotel”
The hotel is new, so the room exceptionally clean. Breakfast is nice also. Unfortunately, there’s no private parking for hotel guests, so you need pay for valet parking.

“Devonport overnight”
comfortable rooms but need better lighting . Staff were unhelpful when I asked for parking for a car over 2.3m high even though they had parking options in the rear of the hotel .

“Not really impressed ”
My partner and myself were looking forward to having some time away, we had checked on the booking information about parking as we were taking my partners work ute and is was on the Novotel website stating there was valet parking for $25 a night or an offsite car park for $10, on arrival we found out the off site parking was the counsel multi story 100 meters up the road they said. Then given our card to enter the room, not advised we needed to use it to operate the lift, luckily we have stayed at several places and knew this, I shared a lift with several people over the 2 night stay that was not told this! The location is good if you are just walking around, but no goid if you need or want regular access to your car without having to let them know and wait. The bed and pillows were amazing and had a great night's sleep. Not in a hurry to go back

First time staying at Novotel and thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff were very friendly. Room was very quiet and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was excellent. Will definitely stay again.
