“Awesome Apartment in the heart of Darwin City”

Argus Apartments is conveniently located in Darwin City and within walking distance to supermarkets (Woolworths) and eateries. The apartment is clean and spacious and my friends really love it. Onsite parking is available at $9 per night.

The staff were friendly & helpful. The apartment was very spacious, clean, well-equipped and everything worked well. It was a very pleasant and relaxing 4-day stay in the apartment.

Great place to stay in central Darwin. Clean large apartment with all that you need. Friendly helpful staff , a gym and pool area with BBQ. Daily newspaper delivered to your door. You can walk to everything from here or catch a bus or taxi if you like . We enjoyed walking to the waterfront each night for a meal at the restaurants. Woolies supermarket is a 5 minute walk away. Undercover Parking is an extra $9 a night of which if I had to note a negative would be the only thing as I feel this should be complementary for guests.

Huge apartment with absolutely everything you could possibly need. Great river view too. Staff could not be more helpful. Great stay. Highly recommended.

The layout and comfort of the apartment was brilliant - the kitchen well stocked and lounge room and balcony were great. The washing machine and dryer were extremely noisy and the drains very smelly in the laundry. Some bleach or draino would probably do the trick. Also the shower areas need to be resealed to get rid of the ugly mould. I would definitely stay here again.

Disgusting service, did not receive a confirmation email and got my room downgraded with a $300 difference and didn't get my money back. I had to clean my hotel room before I left. Disgusting. Never returning here and will be telling everyone about this horrible experience.

“Good location for value”

Location within comfortable walking distance to the wharfs and waterfront, as well as near to the administration quarters. Staff are responsive and rooms are fairly comfortable. It is fairly near the Main Street for pub drinking so you can hop on a tricycle to return to Argus easily.

“Great location and spacious apartment!”

Pros: conviently located near the heart of city, with nearby woolsworth supermarket and food places! The apartment is extremely spacious, clean and minimalistic. The towels were changed daily. Ray and his colleague were very welcoming and ensured that everything is well Cons: wifi was down the entire time we were there. Car park is $9 per day, but there's free parking from 5pm to 8am outside so can recommend people with car to park there instead!

Absolutely love this apartment. Service is excellent, they accomodate early check in for us. Our apartment is so spacious and super clean. Very very comfortable and we will definitely stay here again if we come back to Darwin.

“Great service ”

We arrived at Darwin around 6am on 7 Feb 2016. Prior to our arrival, emails were exchanged between hotel and myself. Though hotel policy states check in time is 2pm, management and staff offered guest lounge with full facilities to us. We could rest and get refreshed in the clean and quiet lounge. Special thanks to Teddy who helped us alot on Day 1 arrival as well as Day 2 midnight departure. She booked us Station Wagon to airport and made sure we got to airport on time (our flight was 115am on 9 Feb). Will return to apartment in our next visit to Darwin. Apartment offers great space, unblocked view and great cooking facilities too.

A very enjoyable stay. The rooms were big and comfortable as we were travelling in a group. Large fridge was great. Used BBQ area for cooking and the staff were helpful and supplied us with acouple of items. The only thing is that the swimming pool is under cover in the BBQ area so no sun. Otherwise great location and very friendly staff. Would stay again.

Wonderful stay just not long enough, lots of living space, good sized kitchen, easy walk to shops, entertainment and waterfront. My favorite place in Darwin especially when travelling with teenagers who need lots of room space to sprawl about in.

“Large apartment but lacks atmosphere”

Apartment lacked atmosphere, had no pictures or anything apealling on the walls. Very bland because it is such a large apartment. Only supply one pillow per person and they are fairly average flat pillows. Had to load this dishwasher to was 4 cups as they don't provide any washing up liquid, thought that was really odd. However the apartment is fully self contained and they provide washing powder for the washing machine a clothes dryer and ironing board.Apartment and all common areas were very clean and secure. Within walking distance to everything in the CBD and reasonably price secure parking at $7.00 for 24 hours. Would recommend The Argus but would like to see just those few little things rectified as they made the stay 'okay' instead of 'great'.

“Large modern apartments with balcony”

I was a pleasure to stay at Argus Apartments. The apartments are very large, light, neat and with everything you need for your stay. I had a view of the sea from my room. Good location with only a few minutes walk to the city centre. Only bad thing was internet, which was expensive and with too many restrictions, and the swimming pool which is small, cold and in the basement.

Modern apartments. Stayed in 3 bedroom which is 1 king and 2 queen size beds, one ensuite. The balcony was large but the view wasn't very good, straight onto the building next door and their balconies / windows. Very clean, nice bed linen / towels. Fully equipped kitchen. Would definitely stay there again and would recommend.

the argus apartments are modern and huge, probably bigger than my house. the kitchen is fully equipped and have microwave, dishwasher etc. didn't try the pool as i didn't have time. hotel is a bit of a walk away from mitchell st - 5 to 10 minutes which is a hike in the hot season.
