“すごく良い”

Everything was good, There was no kettle for making tea/coffee.

“Generally good value for money”

The cabin assigned to us was clean, newish and pretty complete. The rangehood though was not working, as a few lights throughout. The single beds may be too soft for some people's liking. Otherwise, good value. Needs improvement. Front office staff needs more training on dealing with guests booked via Agoda. Place seems to be in process of refurbishment, so not very pretty at the moment.

“Value for money”

The lady on duty on that night very sweet and friendly, helpful and thoughtful. She turned on the heater for us to warm the room for our arrival. She gave us the milk to make coffee / tea. Thanks for your hospitality and good enough for a night of stay, value for money.

“It wasn't in a middle of city but it was not bad at all”

The motel was really excellent, the view was just massive and it wasn't located in the city but accessible by the public buses in which the bus stop is just in front of the motel

Very reasonably priced and comfortable. I am happy to stay here for regular visits. Only issue is lack of cleaning and servicing room during stay. Maybe that's the level of service supplied because pricing is very reasonable...

Great motel room...affordable, comfortable and roomy. Easy to access all the attractions of Canberra and local shops and a big supermarket.

The hotel is a bit far from the city central, but clean and good value for money. We stayed in the hotel for a stop over and we had a good night sleep before we drive to Sydney the following day.

Staff were friendly and attentive. There is an on site caretaker that made things feel supervised and safe. Clean facilities. The room was not serviced during the 3 night stay ie beds were not made following arrival night - not a problem for me but is important to note

Conveniently located in Canberra, it was close to many attractions in a quiet area. Facilities in the room were modern and clean. A pleasure to stay at for an economical price compared to similar places to stay in Canberra, and we would be happy to return on our next trip to Canberra.

The room was clean, good tv and facilities adequate. However, the wifi was so weak that it was virtually useless and the windows could not be opened requiring excessive use of the aircon. It would seem that at least some of the site is to be sold as building blocks so some of the older rooms might be demolished.

Clean rooms & sheets, dated decor (not that it matters), aircon works great and showers are hot. Overall great value & location with a suprisingly good shop in reception, let down slightly by missing fly screens in room and an outdoor BBQ i wouldn't use.

“Very clean, but too many flies”

It was good value for money, super clean, but we were swamped with flies and for the amount we were charged, I would've liked to have had foxtel. We were supposed to have free wifi, but I was told when I tried to log in that the password was invalid. Items in the shop are super expensive.

“3 Day was just... OK”

I had a King motel room which was fine. Beds were nice and neat, bathroom was fairly old. Very clean but the toilet light kept flickering like a scary movie which made me lol. Check in was fine staff were easy and friendly and gave us directions to the local Woollies. Found my room easily enough. Not as many things to use such as plastic bowls etc if you wanted to make a salad which you really want if your trying to save a bit of money. The BBQ area was grotty after the last users and the bins were overfull on a Sunday morning meaning we had to trek further to find somewhere to put our rubbish. My gripes weren't so much with my room but moreso with two of my sister's and their families' rooms. One was in a room with a king and bunks. While waiting for her to cook some breakfast I looked up and the light fixture was full of bugs. Both the one above the bed and the one in the kitchen. Needless to say I was not impressed. In my other sisters one bedroom motel room I went to put some drinks in the freezer and found that nothing could fit in because it was practically all ice. It didnt look as though it had been defrosted in quite some time. Furthermore when she pulled out the single couch/beds there were copious amounts of sand and bits of dirt that fell out from them?!?! Housekeeping could definitely be improved. I needed new towels and instead of putting them back in the bathroom they were just left on the table. Beds weren't made which I found odd but perhaps they don't make beds and it wasn't the end of the world. For the most part it was clean and despite a few things mentioned being overlooked its still good value for money and I would return. It was an average stay but for what I paid it didn't really matter. I would recommend to families on a budget.

We stayed here for 7 nights and it suited us fine. You will need a car to get around and visit shops as it is aa little far from shops.

For the price we paid we certainly can’t complain…. Went to the snow 3 times which was only a 2hr drive and our off day’s it was close to everything else. The cabin was amazing and the caretaker was a champ!!!!! Thanks for the memories carotel.

“More than sufficient for our needs”

I was part of a family of 4 adults and 4 children, staying in the spa villa. While far from a 5-star hotel, the villa was more than sufficient for our group. Pros: - designated parking for 2 cars directly in front of our cabin - Big open field within the premise - Friendly and helpful staff - ~5 minutes drive to Dickson and Watson shops. BP petrol station nearby - All the amenities needed: Fridge, cooktop, oven, grill, kettle, plates, pots, pans, utensils, etc - Jacuzzi was a nice touch - Comfortable beds, which included a king size, 4 bunk beds and 2x single sofa beds - A/C with reverse cycle for heating - Very affordable Cons: - Heater can be a hit and miss. Works most of the time, but can shut down at anytime during the night - 2 or 3 light bulbs needed replacement Overall, a fantastic stay and I would highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at The Canberra Carotel Motel. Great location and great value for money. Rooms are small, but they are fine for a small family. No larger then 5 people.
