“Decent Stay”

Decent Stay near City Center. Optimal for an overnight stay.

Book only if you need a close place to city center. The Hotel is quite old and not that good

“Decent breakfast”

Stayed only 1 night but seemed decent enough. Breakfast was a good spread. Located a bit of walk from old quarter but close enough. Small convenience store round the corner is useful.

“Staycation”

Stayed here for the first time. Room is a little run down and it is very difficult getting in and out of the ensuite. 1 small lift which takes you to your floor, however, there are then other sets of stairs required to get to your room, so it became very frustrating with a young child and a pram. Location is close enough to the old quarter

“Great”

Located in the centre of town. Easy to find and accessible to all amenities. Extremely friendly staff who were eager to help us. Room was spacious and the bed was very comfy. Good pressure shower and very clean room. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Huge choice of hot and cold food and drinks.

“Good Hotel”

Stayed here for five nights at the tail end of a SE Asia trip. Hotel location is convenient for walking to the lake, around the Old/French Quarters and other historical sites (Temple of Literature, etc). Staff is very friendly and helpful and always looking to make sure that you’re enjoying your stay. Hotel has a boutique feel, nice rooms, very clean and a tasty breakfast. Enjoyed everything about the stay and if returning to Hanoi would look to stay here again.

Central location and a nice breakfast buffet (banana mango smoothie was excellent!). The room was comfortable but nothing outstanding. The staff were friendly, but both check-in and check-out were lengthy affairs because they were trying so hard to be impressive when all we wanted to do was leave our bags in the room and head out. e both had massages in the spa downstairs—they were fine, nothing great, but it was “spa happy hour” and so they were just $29US each which was great.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent with many varieties. Plenty of eating areas around the hotel. Stay is worth the money and recommend for all the tourists visiting Hanoi for holidays

“Very Good”

Our stay at the hotel was very pleasant overall. This is mainly due to very service minded hotel staffs, I couldn’t ask more in that. They even upgraded our room to have a bigger window and better view when we asked for it, and they also offered us to take a shower and change in one of their rooms before we leave to the airport for no charge. The room was very clean and the bed was big and comfortable. The air conditioner worked very well. The wifi was working well for me and my friend also. About the breakfast, we enjoyed juices and pho very much. Above all, the warm welcome and assistance we experienced by all staffs were extraordinary and have made our stay gratifying.

Perfect location in district one, yet quiet at night. Walking distance or short trip by taxi to most of the locations we wanted to visit in Hanoi City. Super friendly and helpful staff! Perfect living for a few days to explore this wonderful city

I stayed here two nights on my trip, on the first night and last night. This hotel is in a great location and the staff are very helpful. The rooms are spacious and tidy. Breakfast was simple but the quality was good.

The service is good, all staff is be able to communicate in English, friendly and warm hospitality. They even introduce a lot of nice place to eat, to sip coffee, to have great deal! Satisfy and worth for money indeed!

“Reasonable Price”

Looking a hotel for a night while waiting my filght the next day and luckily I found this hotel. The best thing I want to highlight this hotel is they have the reasonable price if I do not want to decribe it is very cheap. The room rate is affordable but the service is cheap, especially when you want to catch a airport taxi, they provide me at just VND 200.000, the best price I got.

“Perfect choice”

I know there’s lots of choices for Hanoi old town, it was hard to make a decision. I’m glad to stay with Hong Ha .. Receptionist was super friendly and thoughtful. She speak good English and gave us some good advice about food and coffee. I definitely wanna come back Hong Ha in future. Nothing to complain about that, all I can do is tell my friends stay at Hong Ha if they are going to Hanoi.

We are happy with all services of Hong Ha hotel from checking in up to check out. Very good location juts walk distance to all restaurant, market and tourist objects. Hotel is located at main road. Our families are very happy with this trip as everything has been well organized by hotel. I would like to recommend this hotel to all traveller who wants to get a balance of money to quality.

One of the best hotel in Hanoi because of breakfast, location,… Just stay here for one night but I had to extend it with no doubt, they provide me good service and I can feel they are truly take care me, not for the tips. I am very appreciated that

“Nice hotel to stay”

Looking for a hotel near the centre but afraid of hustling and bustling, this hotel is really a good choice. The best is the car can pick you up for a tour, you do not need to go for walk like the other hotel in the old quarter and this hotel takes you only 5’ to walk to the sword lake. Highly recommned.

“Great Hotel”

Coming back here is so great, I knew this hotel so many years ago. They have brand new decoration and better service. I am very impressed with breakfast here, variety of food, so delicious. Next year, we will definitely stay here.

Staff were very plesant and always there to help, nothing a problem for them. Free parking was a bonus as its expensive to park car over night in Hanoi. Suggest anyone booking they go for the delux double as more room and not much more expensive. I will stay again next time I am in Hanoi.

Well located near to the old quarter but not within the busy narrow roads. Very clean rooms and toilets. Some times it can be little noisy with other occupants. They provide good breakfast but should go early otherwise items may be over. Staff was very helpful always book your taxi with them. Most of the places you can visit on taxi.

We booked this hotel in the first place because we were taking the bus from Nanjing, China to Hanoi and according to some travel blogs, the bus will stop at Hong Ha Hotel. However, this is not true. We were dropped off somewhere in the city which took us a 15 min taxi ride to get to Hong Ha. Without this location convenience, I would say you can find better deals situating much more closer to the old city Centre at the same price. Nevertheless, Hong Ha is still a comfortable and nice place to stay in if you are fine with its location. I love the way how they decorated the hotel and the breakfast is pretty nice too. Staff are friendly. The cons about this hotel is that they would need to keep your passport during your stay, which I am a bit uncomfortable about. Originally I thought that’s Hanoi or Vietnam’s practice, but then I realize that all other hotels would allow me to deposit cash as an alternative as they just wanna have some form of “security”.
