“The best years of this hotel are far in the past”

With an mid 90's charm and design, this hotel has seen it's best time about 20years ago. The furniture of the room is visibly used and need some general renovation to match the price. The breakfast I book with my reservation was not available due to low booking they didn't offer the regular buffet. As a replacement they offered to get something on order (probably from the street kitchen outside the hotel). I had to ask for water and coffee to be provided. The location of the hotel is very convenient. Only a 20 minutes walk from Hoan Kiem lake. The staff was nice and helpful.

“Brilliant introduction to Vietnam”

Arrived and it was wet n cold unfortunately. The reception welcomed us very warmly. Our room was comfortable n we had delicious breakfast daily. Having fresh passion fruits was a treat. Our booking was handled very professionally as I had to make changes, very accommodating. Location in Old Quarter so ideal for walking around.

The staff is very friendly and helpful with any questions, we felt warmly welcomed. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the location is perfect for visiting the city. We would absolutely recommend this hotel for a stay in Hanoi!

This hotel was a stunning find for me. I always read reviews before I book a hotel and was indeed very impressed by the Antique Legend. The front desk staff are so very helpful in every way possible, if I could, for this very reason I would give 6 stars out of 5. Thank you Antique Legend and thank you Jerry, Grace, Kathryn and all of the other front desk staff. See you again next week.

There were a few issues in the room that weren’t ideal, such as the water pressure not being great in the shower. However undoubtedly the kindest and most attentive staff I know. From the beginning, they impressed us when they gave us a map and explained all the spots and restaurants we should hit while traveling in Hanoi. The cutest was when they all stood outside and waved us away as we left for the airport. I’ve never experienced such a kind and thoughtful staff.

We were only staying for 10 hours, a whistle-stop visit yet all the staff were super friendly and incredibly helpful. Great breakfast and great location.

“Pleasant and memorable stay! Kudos to the staff!”

We like to mention a few names which made our stay memorable and pleasant. 1. Customer service/Sales - Grace - always response timely (email/WhatsApp) to our queries before our arrival; she has gone an extra mile to propose few options for us to consider when we wanted to visit Halong Bay; we even had an upgrade to the Aclass cruise. - Jerry - the friendly Manager who brought us to the room when we checked in. Out of thoughtfulness, he generously offered to provide an extra bed to us at no cost when he saw there were 4 of us with 1 king bed and 1 single bed only. It was a sweet surprise for us. 2. Hotel reception - Quang and Kathryn - helpful, friendly, approachable. I remembered Kathryn walked to the street to welcome us when our Halong Bay tour bus dropped us off opposite the hotel. She wanted to make sure we were safe in view of the traffic in Hanoi. 3. Concierge - Anh - always have his signature smile. He was observant and sharp in keeping a lookout for guests entering and exiting the hotel lobby. He was also helping us when we came back from Halong Bay. 4. Kitchen - Rossie and Lyna - friendly and helpful. 5. Housekeeping - Regretfully we didn’t get her name. Everyday she amazed us with her animal art, using towels to make animals and displayed on the bed. She was creative to even use the kids’ soft toys to compliment the display. Each time we stepped into the room in the evening, we went “wow”! Overall it was an amazing experience and the staff played a BIG part. Thank you all. The hotel staff made my family feel very welcome and at home. The hotel room is big for the Deluxe Family room. We were impressed with the way the staff put in effort to do up the towels on our beds. Room is clean and hotel's location is close to the lake. Wonderful choice I made to stay in this hotel. Will come back to this hotel again.

First of all the hotel is located in Old Quarter and the location is convenience as it is near to Hoan Kien Lake and nearby to other places of interest. When we reached the hotel, we were greeted and the staff have bought us welcome drinks and fruits. Check-in process is fast and swift without any delay, the staff also told us about where to eat and see. On the 18 Jan is my birthday, after returning from Ha Long Bay, they actually prepared a birthday cake for me, it is very thoughtful of them although my girlfriend has email over to the hotel as a surprise for me. The room is very clean and spacious, with good wifi, heater and hot shower. Bed is soft and thus I am able to goes to sleep very easily. The breakfast is good, but not much of a varieties and seats are limited, so have to be there early in order to secure a seating. When our tour bus is here to pick us up, the staff will assist to

“Fantastic hotel”

Our 2nd stay at Hanoi Antique Legend hotel. We would never chose anywhere else. The rooms are lovely, super clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was perfect and offered a nice variety of options, tasty and fresh, very nice fresh juices, fresh fruits, omelettes etc. location was perfect also, being on the edge of the old quarter, very convenient. The staff at this hotel are the best we have ever experienced and we travel often. They are so helpful and genuinely cared about making our stay memorable. They were always suggesting things for us to do and see and really did make us feel welcome. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, we plan to return very soon. 5 stars just isn’t enough.

“5 star hotel with 10 star service”

I simply cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The rooms are lovely, comfortable and sparkling clean, breakfast excellent. The staff here are absolutely amazing. They are so kind, friendly and helpful. They made us feel like we were home. Absolutely outstanding, we wouldn’t stay anywhere else next time we are in Hanoi.

From the first time we entered into the lobby, we were welcomed by friendly smiles from the hotel staff. The front desk staff were very friendly and courteous. Jerry, one of the front desk staff even took out a map and recommended us interesting places to visit and good restaurants to eat. Tuan, the other front desk staff there was also very friendly. He even helped us with our luggages when we checked out of the hotel. The smiles and friendliness even extends to the bellboy and the kitchen staff. The room that we stayed was beautiful and clean. “Highly recommend”

I am glad to stay in this hotel. Upon arrival, my husband and I were greeted by Ms Grace, who provided us with detailed information abt the hotel and attractive areas of Hanoi. During the night at abt 0500hrs, , we were awake by noise from workers working on a construction site located next to the hotel in which my room was facing the construction site. Next day, I told Mr Jerry, Hotel Manager, about the matter . He immediately changed the room for us as we had to stay for another 4 nights. Breakfast was really great. Thanks for a waitress wearing a glass who prepared two boiled eggs for me every day. Everyone working at the hotel were great with smile. The location of the hotel was very convenient to night market and some famous cafe or restaurant where you can taste the egg coffee and a bowl of Pho. I really recommend this hotel to everyone who come to Hanoi.

“Super hotel, excellent service”

Unfortunatly we could stay there only for one night (we went to a 3 days trip to Hanoi Bay after), but we could see how professional team works there. Even our welcome in the hotel was very friendly, and we haven't checked in yet, when we noticed that we left our mobile in the previous hotel. The manager immediately called them, and kindly offered to take my husband there to pick up the mobile. During that time I could enjoy the welcome drink and the fruits. The room was nice, also breakfast, with plenty of choice. We were really satisfied with the hotel and especially with the staff. The are really kind and helpful people. We recommend them and wish to come cack again.

“Great stay at Antique Legend Hotel”

Almost everything perfect. Noticed a little bit of dust under the table in the room, preventing a 5 star rating, but actually it wasn't bad at all. The facilities were all fine, but some of the design elements were annoying to use particularly the AC, which was very finicky (either you froze in the room or you roasted, but it seemed very difficult to maintain a comfortable room temperature). Overall, the staff was amazing, the value for money was very, very high， the free breakfast was totally respectable for a hotel at this price level, and the travel booking service was very convenient and helpful. I would definitely stay again. It's a little distance from the main party/bar street area in the Old Quarter, which was a pro for us, but may be a con for others...
