Room: Comfortable. Nice bed. Pretty good extras-robe, slippers, etc. But tiny bathroom. Staff very friendly - suprisingly a bit homey, in a nice way - low key. But expensive-but had not been in NYC since before Covid.
We had a wonderful stay at the Pearl hotel - recommend without hesitation - room was beautiful , staff really friendly and helpful, location amazing. Thank you - we will be back!
Hotel prices in NYC have gotten insane. I come at least once a year and have always avoided the theater district preferring the upper west side. This hotel popped up in my google search and was posted at $250 a night. Has tons of reviews and i thought why not its just for one night. The reviews are true. Hotel is in great condition, LARGE rooms, updated furnishings and a helpful staff. Right in the middle if the theatre district yet the rooms surprisingly quiet. From my observation a mostly overseas tourist destination and perhaps with the strong dollar that accounts for the reasonable price. Try it, you will like it.
Great location. Clean facility. Great staff.
We only needed a room for one night as we were catching a cruise ship the next day. The location was perfect, the staff were wonderful, there's a CVS on one corner and a little grocery store with freshly prepared meals on the other corner. Everything you need is right there. Junior's is just a block away as is Time's Square.
Check in isn't until 4 Pm, and check out is at Noon - so you barely have a full day. They also charge a 30 dollar 'facilities' fee, which they don't tell you when you make your booking. Facilities were minimal and bare: a wine reception at 5pm everyday, and free coffee/tea in the lobby. Other than that, great hotel. Rooms are larger than I expected and impeccably clean. I especially loved the location - so many restaurants nearby, right in the theater district so very near the shows, lots of cheap food trucks nearby too. Because it's Times Square, the location gets very very crowded though.
Stayed once or twice a year there for past 5 years. Showing its age now and shoddy customer service as of late.
Great place to stay in the Times Square area. Sparkling clean and very nice staff. My rate was a good one for that time and for the location.
Great staff Nice breakfast Enjoyed the wine hour No issue with waiting for elevators...so typical in NYC. Good size rooms
This is our second stay at the Pearl and just as great as the 1st time! I honestly cannot think of a better place to stay in NYC!
The Pearl is tucked away on 49th street and such a hidden gem. Keegan at the front desk was incredibly helpful and kind, amenities are great including wine hour + continental breakfast. It was a great value for our NYC getaway.
Literally across the street from the Book of Mormon, this is a great hotel with friendly staff in the heart of NYC in Times Square. Super close to amazing food options, you cannot go wrong
Friendly staff. Large rooms with nice bathrooms. Breakfast was ok, but we would have been much happier with proper plates and cutlery instead of all the disposable plastics. Very pleasant wine gathering at five every day. Housekeepers were excellent.
Loved, loved, loved this hotel. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful, especially Keegan. Recommendations for dinner were top-notch. The room was up-to-date and comfortable. My only wish would have been that there were a few more food options made available for breakfast (scrambled eggs, additional fruit choices, etc), but what was provided was nice. The location was fantastic; close to Times Square, multiple theaters, and less than 10 minutes to walk to 30 Rock.
The staff at The Pearl were very helpful and kind. Our first room was not as clean as we expected. The manager immediately changed our room no questions asked. The breakfast, coffee Cafe and wine happy hour are great perks!
My wife and I recently stayed at the hotel while we had tickets for some live TV broadcast tapings and broadway shows and we could walk to everything easily. We enjoyed the continental breakfasts which made our mornings more relaxed. We look forward to returning this summer and would definitely go back the the Pearl Hotel!
My wife & I spent last weekend at the Pearl Hotel. We took in a Broadway show & it was only a couple of doors down from where we were staying. The hotel was very inexpensive considering how centrally located it is. Our deluxe king room was nice but not fancy & it overlooked the theater across the street. The hotel amenity fee & parking added another $80/day but we were expecting it. We'll definitely stay there again.
We stayed here for one night after seeing a Broadway show. The location couldn't have been any better We would literally across the street from the theater we had to go to. The hotel is small but very nicely appointed. Our room was perfect with plenty of space and it was spotless. The included breakfast was very good and every employee we encountered was friendly and helpful. We definitely recommend staying here if you are in Manhattan.
If you’re looking for a hotel that has larger than normal NYC rooms, friendly staff and plan on attending Broadway shows like we did, you should stay here.. We walked to Broadway, shows, Times Square and Central Park. The staff were very friendly. The nightly wine hour and complimentary breakfast was a bonus.
Very classy and comfortable. The room was smaller than expected but quite comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful! Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Love this quiet little oasis in the heart of Times Square! Very clean, staff is super friendly and helpful, beds are cozy and comfortable. My go-to hotel when I need to be in Times Square.
I was nervous at first hoping I hadn’t made a mistake booking a hotel that wasn’t Marriott or Hilton, but boy was I wrong!! This place is amazing, from the location being steps from Times Square, it’s in the heart of it all! The staff are beyond kind and accommodating. Definitely recommend!
The hotel is awesome if you have to stay in Midtown Manhattan. Clean, comfortable, good breakfast, nice staff, a glass of wine in the early evening. Highly recommend and have to others.
Best hotel for location, great rooms, good breakfast, and the best staff!Shout out to Keegan at the front desk for making our stay perfect!!
Great staff. They are kind and extremely helpful. Our room temperature could never get below 75 though so that was problematic, however, the staff and location make up for any issues we ran into
Could offer better pricing and promotions Saw better promotion we could have taken advantage us
This was my first experience with The Pearl Hotel, but it will most certainly not be my last. Everything from the staff to the happy hour to breakfast to the immensely quiet rooms (and in the middle of the theater district, that is no small feat), and the location, made this a wonderful stay. One thing- please… the “resort fee” nonsense. Just. Include. It. In. The. Price. I’d absolutely stay again anyway, but this just feels sneaky to have it requested and required upon check in. I look forward to my next stay.
Nice people If you at 5-6Pm they have free wine
Worth the money for the location
Right in the theatre district. Very nice sized room with large bathroom. Very clean. Staff was very friendly.
They run a nice place but it’s not until you are booked and standing in their lobby that the advise you of the $30/day “facilities” fee. It’s like a price hustle. To my thinking it’s unethical but, as this hotel management would say, it’s too late to do anything about it, rube!
The hotel had great staff and was very clean. The room decor was updated, the bed, comfortable. But my particular room, a Queen Deluxe that was part of a prepaid package on Agoda, left a lot to be desired. It was one of maybe 3 or 4 rooms on the second floor, which also housed the breakfast area and the gym. The major problem with my room was that doors were slammed loudly and constantly (at least 15x an hour) every morning. This was primarily due to the fact that people (staff and guests) would take the stair down one floor instead of the elevator after breakfast, and the door leading to the stair would literally shake the room when it closed. Also, the sink drain was slow, the handle was about to fall off the toilet, and there was no hot water 2x out of 3 for my morning shower. BUT the staff and cleanliness, as well as top notch location (close to Times Sq but still very quiet) would convince me to come back. Just not in a queen room again.
No USB port chargers in room, 2 different front desk staff said they would make sure some were put in room, I realize the location is great but definitely not worth $450 a night, towels are like what you would find in a mediocre hotel, carpet in room is filthy . . M
quite hotel even thought it located in the middle of everything.
Excellent location and well maintained property. Continental breakfast and happy hour. Very friendly and helpful staff. We also appreciated the microwave and refrigerator with sink in our room.
Great place to stay in the middle of Times Square/Theatre District/Hell's Kitchen.
Amazing as always !!! Location rocks
I’ve stayed in many hotels near Times Square and this one is by far my favorite. Clean and spacious rooms and close to Times Square. Breakfast was great too. Will definitely come back!
Perfect hotel for a stay in the Theatre District. Conveniently located, quiet, clean, only 8 rooms per floor, EXCELLENT elevators, nice complimentary breakfast, friendly staff especially Keegan, Shanelly & Francisco! This will now be our go to hotel in NYC!
If it wasn’t for the staff, I’d have abandoned this stay and gone elsewhere. We had a room with a malfunctioning door and keys that randomly stopped working. Disappointing to say the least.
Would definitely stay here again. Location is great! The staff was super friendly and helpful.
Great staff and location! Would def come back! Next time I would get a room with a refrigerator but other than that everything was amazing!!!
The breakfast is very basic.
The room was immaculate, I enjoyed everything about it. The balcony was beautiful and very spacious.. I don’t smoke but if you’re a smoker, they definitely don’t allow smoking in or even outside of the room (balcony). We had a TV in the bathroom but it wasn’t working (not a big deal) .. I chose to stay at The Pearl because of the location and the fact it had a microwave, refrigerator and balcony!! I’ll rate my overall stay 4 stars! I’ll definitely book with them again.
Staff was extremely friendly, use their car service! Less than Uber black car and drivers are wonderful! Beautiful boutique hotel and again, staff couldn’t be nicer and allowed for late check out, kept our luggage, room was very clean, comfortable, quiet. Loved the morning pastries to grab before heading out into the city :)
The Pearl never disappoints us. If you are in NYC for theater, the location can’t be beat
Our stay here was super enjoyable! The hotel is full of amenities to enjoy, like coffee and tea 24/7 and wine hour from 5-6 pm. Location is unbeatable! Would stay again for sure!
Location is good
Will differently come again. My favorite hotel in midtown hands down.
“Biz Trip Short Stay”
The hotel is well located if you’re going to the theatre, clean and comfortable bed.
