“Excellent Airport Hotel”
Excellent location, close to the airport. Was perfect for our day in transit. Proximity to the tram and bus stops meant an easy ride into Edinburgh city. The staff was cheerful & helpful as well. Good food.

“Very comfortable”
If you have to stay at the airport then the Double Tree has all the facilities to make your night as comfortable as possible. The pool is lovely and warm, the sauna and hammam too, and the restaurant / bar and room service are great.

“最高!”
Nice big spacious rooms. Location is a bit off from the city centre but if you have a car it’s only a 30 minute drive into the city. Overall, lives up to the Hilton standards.

“Was expected a four star hotel but….”
The cleanliness is not very good. The front desk service is not very good as well when we ask for the bathroom supplies. The bathroom is dated and does not feel clean. Overall, not bad but does not worth its price.

“Nice place to stay ”
The staff is friendly ,and the location is pretty close to airport，around 10 mins walking distance to it. Very good to people need to catch a morning flight.

“Old but close to the airport ”
I don’t personally understand how this hotel is 4 stars if I’m honest. It’s fine? The rooms are very dated, bed preferences aren’t often followed (couples assigned twins usually). The decor in the rooms is old, cracking and in want of maintenance. Food is good although hard to get it, need to go to the restaurant.

“Room is big but no response of email before arrival.”
Room is big but slightly old. I tried to message them thru Agoda and also emailed them few days before arrival in Edinburgh but no response at all. Was about to request for the free shuttle bus services. Others are ok .

“Watch the extra charge for the pool”
Great hotel option by the airport with free shuttles regularly from really early. We’ll appointed and has a comprehensive fitness facility including pool, sauna and steam room. They have just introduced a £5 fee for the pool so watch out for that. Otherwise, a handy option close to the airport that’s worth considering.

“Airport hotel Edinburgh”
Not the newest of hotels with all the modern convivences, but suitable for a 1 or 2 night stop if you want to be close to the airport or tram into Edinburgh. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and attentive to needs. I had a room on the ground floor and was surprised i didn't hear any aircraft noise over the night.

“Comfortable stay.”
Overnight stay as we had to catch our flight the next day. We enjoyed the facilities, gym/heated swimming pool. Staff were friendly and welcoming too!

Helpful staff. Great room - comfy double beds. Clean and modern. Really great breakfast. Walking distance to airport, however there is also a shuttle. Recommended.

Location is perfect.. 5mins walk to tram (direct link to city) 5mins to motorway.. 5mins to airport (walking).. the hotel isn't new but you get alot more facilities and space because of this..

“Great hotel ”
We stayed here for the first time and were very impressed with the large room and warm welcome we received. Room spotlessly clean and by far the biggest we have had at an airport hotel (King bed, sofa area). Swimming pool and gym available and all staff - reception, restaurant, cleaners - very friendly. We will definitely stay here again rather than the Moxy!

“A bit disappointed facility room.”
Room was clean, but a bit dark, because no lights in ceilings, only small lights near bed and table. Good thing that hotel room 10 min by walk from airport and car rental drop off, bad thing that shower facility not the best. Cap from tap is dropping, shower hole cap is broken, water going on the floor (no shower mat).

“VERY DISAPPOINTED”
We arrived in the Evening of 11th March 2020, the sign for the Hotel was not lit up so it was difficult to see. We were put in a recently refurbished room which was lovely but the smell of Varnish was overwhelming the fumes would take your breath away. We were rudely awakened by the noise of drilling at 8am in the morning no chance of a lie in, this was very unsatisfactory. The breakfast was cold so we had to ask the staff could they pop it in the microwave to heat it which they did but the eggs where like rubber as they put them in for the same time as other food, we had to then ask for fresh eggs again very disappointing not what I expected at all for our stay. Overall our stay was disappointing.

“Average hotel in good location - if you like soup and reading in bed, this is the place for you!”
The only reason to stay here is the location- convenient for the airport. Parking is £6 for a couple of hours or £14 overnight. Wot! Check in staff were very nice and helpful. Room is fine. But the duvet was like a bath towel, thin and slightly too small for the bed. Restaurant and bar are unsurprisingly expensive, but you're trapped in a location with few options. Staff are in dire need of training. Don't know how to clear a table or serve drinks. Ditto the manager, who said "well, they're all new" when we discussed this with him. When asked for a cup of coffe rather than the usual bucket, we were told all the smaller cups were in the dishwasher. The place wasn't even half full, so that must have been the situation all day. Nice plate of soup, though. Oh, and a good reading light by the bed.

Great location needed to catch 6am flight, their shuttle starts at 3am, perfect. Also you can walk to airport in less than 5 min and drop your rental car walking distant to hotel. Very convienent for my purpose.

“Unhospitable Staff, with a Couldnt-Care-Less attitude”
Highly uncaring staff...not what you'd expect from a Hilton brand! Their careline number which is supposed to help you with anything, goes unanswered (happened two out of two times with me during my 5 night stay). Anyways, since i had chosen them, hence it was me who rightly had to pay for the mistakes...not going to repeat this mistake again!

“Convenient airport hotel”
Walking distance from airport terminal and car hire facilities (although there is a shuttle bus to and from the airport). An old hotel but appears to have been renovated. Room are average size but very clean. Beds comfortable and good quality linen. Bathroom OK. Shower in bath rather than separate shower cubicle. No mini-bar and in-room coffee making facilities very basic (but bar on the ground is open 24 hours). You would probably not want to stay more then one night but very convenient for airport and full cooked breakfast was quite good and included haggis!

“Very convenient to the airport--also close to Bus and Tram stops to go downtown”
Had 2 queen beds, and very comfortable. Bathrooms clean and spacious. My only issue was room service--Food was delivered quickly but the food itself was terrible! Because of the location-I will stay there again, I just won't be ordering room service!

“Very helpful staff”
I arrived late at EDI airport and I only needed to spend 1 night to get from Edinburgh to Glasgow the early morning after. I had to figure out how to get there efficiently and the staff was very helpful giving me directions and spending their time for me. I appreciated it. Hotel is like your upper-average airport hotel, with the kind of facilities and service you might expect for your layover comfort, no frills. I did not take my breakfast there but it looked good.

“Convenient location close to Airport ”
Liked the location close to Airport with a complimentary shuttle bus. Warm choc chip cookie on checkin was a nice touch. Outside temperature was pretty cold so inside reception and room was so hot by comparison, I had to take off a few layers at reception. Only down side - room 344 Complimentary wifi only worked if I stood in the bathroom door by room entrance - 3 wifi bars; but it dropped out regularly if I was on the bed or the chair in the room - only one wifi bar

“Great Option for Airport”
Great location for airport - would recommend for anyone travelling. Also relatively easy access to city, but not recommended for anyone spending more than a day or two in the city.

“Nice & Convenient hotel next to the Edingburgh Airport”
Few minutes walking distance from the EDI airport; spacious room and super comfry mattress & pillow! Hot water is enough but the water pressure can be improved for the shower and flush; breakfast is superb with various of choices.

“最高!”
Our checkin experience was amazing as we were greeted by a superfriendly staff and offered cookies. The airport is near but impossibly far if you have more than 2 baggages. The free airport shuttle is a plus point.

Having already paid expensively for the room - and it was room only - we then had no option to pay another £12:00 for overnight parking! Have you no shame Double Tree Hilton?! Breakfast was also an “extra” and £5:00 cheaper if preordered but still expensive for what it was. Would not recommend this hotel

“Perfect for 1 night stopover”
As mentioned above, this hotel is perfect for those looking to stay for one night or close to airport. Pros 1. About 10 mins walk from airport (or less) 2. Rooms are decent in size 3. Extremely friendly restaurant staff during breakfast Cons 1. No complimentary drinking water provided. You'll need to get from vending machine (which was out of order on the night we arrived but miraculously working fine in the morning). Vending machine btw, only accepts coins. 2. Considering we only slept at around 230am due to late arrival (flight got delayed), housekeeping decided to wake us up at 830am in the morning by entering our room. Mind you, we were only staying for 1 night and check out time was at noon. 3. Feedback given to Reception about the unwanted "wake up call" and all we got was, "oh, this shouldn't be the case and will check with housekeeping". When we check out, the other staff apologized nonchalantly and said that apparently it was a miscommunication between departments.

“Good hotel near Edinburgh Airport with shuttle bus service”
Very good hotel near Edinburgh Airport. It is not far from Airport and walking is possible. They also provide shuttle bus. No noise problem though near Airport. Welcome dessert and breakfast is good. Room and bathroom are spacious. How er, the wall seems to be thin so you sometimes hear voice outside your Room.

Near airport and easy to get to the rental company just 5 mins walk.

“Good with additional changes”
Good hotel. There was no fridge in the room. Parking charge is a rip off. More vegetarian options for the hot breakfast. It was not cheap.
