Staff, location and cleanliness is good, however my room (101) had terrible loud noises from an AC unit (not one in my room so couldn’t control it). Sadly a bad night sleep. Breakfast is OK.
I honestly would recommend the Golden horn.really great breakfast, helpful staff and very clean . service is excellent

Excellent location but small rooms, service left more to be desired. Charged for water which was something that definitely was quite unpleasant; upon check in the lights weren’t working and I think reception wasn’t the most welcoming either. In all, a decent stay despite the small rooms, but I’d go somewhere else next time.
Staff are very accommodating and helpful. The chief waiter Sechin is very kind and funny.
This slightly older hotel is well located and within 5-10 minute walking distance to all the major tourist attractions. The deluxe room is clean, comfortable but slightly small. The shower water pressure was very good and the included breakfast had many options on the menu. The sound proofing can be improved though.
I do not recommend! Pros: kind employees, location, terrace. Cons: bad smell in the room, bathroom with defective accessories, poor and repetitive breakfast (not Swedish buffet!) It is not a 4 star hotel, maximum 2 plus I think.

I never have been any hotel that in the breakfast you make order then they will bring it to you....
Hotel is very old and not worth the money value.
We book and standard double room, there were a budget or economic room but we thought will be tight so we go for the standard room but what we had is a very very tiny room and it was very dispointing, even no place to put ur baggage and that room was the baddest I dont know why they gave us this room,, anyway that ruined our vacation and its not soundproof you can hear all the noise into your ears starting 7 am
I used to travel a lot.. I saw many hotels. This hotel is small. It has 6-7 rooms on each floor. Lobby: With reception desk and sofas. Quite convinient. Reception: Excellent service. Very friendly and helpful staff. AliBei who is almost always available at reception extremely helpful and kind person. Room: there are small and bigger rooms all depends on your budget. We took smaller rooms but it seemed to be ok for us. Only sink is too small but it’s normal for Ist. Breakfast: served according to menu not buffet. But tasty and enough. They bring what you ask for. Overall: I would recommend this hotel.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Istanbul..specially the staffs are very helpful..specially Mr Seckin Kaya was such a nice person..he particularly tool care of our breakfast every morning..you will also enjoy a beautiful view from the hotel roof.

Stayed in this hotel first night and three nights at the end of the trip. Cleaned room and great breakfast with the view of the coast. Great location and staffs. Definitely will stay here again when I visit Istanbul in the future.
Rooms were neat Breakfast was decent. Very friendly staff. Rooms were quite small. Basement room had abit of a bad smell. Location is perfect. Affordable.
I cannot say enough about the wonderful staff at this hotel. From the front desk to the restaurant staff and everyone else, they are extremely courteous and very helpful. It s centrally located with the historic sites within easy walking distance. Breakfast (the restaurant is closed for all other meals due to Covid) is very good as well. The restaurant is on the rooftop which offers breathtaking views of the city of Istanbul. The rooms are comfy and clean.
The reason why reviews vary from being bad to extreme good is that the difference between economy and standard rooms on one hand and deluxe rooms and suites from the other hand. Standard rooms are tooooo small. As small as no place to open a luggage with quite old furniture and a limited room service. Some of the standard rooms doesn’t have windows which makes the stay worse. All other room categories are big wide with awesome interiors and space. All bathrooms are renovated. Regardless rooms, all the staff are friendly and nice and love to help. They speak enough English to understand and communicate so no problem with dealing with the staff. The restaurant has an amazing view to the Bosphorus sea. The variety of food is good but not large.

This hotel is situated in the middle of the tourist area close to the harbour. I have stayed here twice now and would stay here again. Had a rooftop breakfast area that overlooked the city which was beautiful. Plenty of restaurants below to choose from. Also a short walk to the harbour or the markets. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. The hotel was nice enough to offer an upgrade the second time I stayed here and I got a lovely corner room.

A horrible experience. firstly the hotel is very hard to find on a hill. The staff were rude on arrival and offered the worst room Ive ever seen. Me and my wife said we cant stay here so went back downstairs to compromise and was told we would have to pay £60 on top per night if we want to change rooms. Called Agoda which was no help even till now emails are just going back and forth and I never got my refund. Ended up staying at le petit palace hotel near there which was amazing so ended up paying for two hotels!.. I dont know how in gods earth this has got good reviews.. PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Saisfied with good service and comfortale stay.
We were stayed for 7 nights at topkapi suite, the room was comfortable, the view from the room was beautiful too only the shower (a box shower) was too small for those who have 189 tall. The first 3 nights, we found our room smell like a cigar, we spoke to the reception about it. Unfortunately the guy who attend us wasn't sensitive enough towards what happened and he seems like have an attitude problem. Well, overall i think it's a convinient place to stay.
Our stay in this hotel was not so good except good location and they have luggage storage. Our room condition was bad, the window is spoilt at first and we called reception to fix it, then the toilet and room is so smelly and the bed is itchy but the worst thing is that when we book this hotel the charge us USD 65 for an airport transfer which is not worth it coz it just 1 way for that amount. So expensive, better to take our own transport as the guy fetch us from airport don't even help us carry our luggage, might as well take public transport. we need to pay again for airport shuttle when we go hm. This hotel is not worth it for the amount they charged. stay at other place. Got much more affordable and nice hotel around.
밤중에도착이라 역가까운곳으로함. 탁심은 다오르막길 인데 여긴 그나마 괜춘함. 방은 80년대 스타일이였으나 침구가더럽고.. 청소는 깨끗합니다. 샤워부스 조아요. 아침조식이 늘똑같... 그래도 가격대비 만족. 후려치는 이스탄에서 이만하면 쏘쏘함

Excelente ubicación, personal muy amable y con buen inglés, pero el hotel sigue estancado en el tiempo. Las instalaciones nos están acorde a la categoría del hotel. Está bastante deteriorado.

Das Hotel ist völlig heruntergekommen. Sehr, sehr renovierungsbedürftig Tapeten lösen sich von den Wänden. Im Restaurant sind Stühle und Tische durchgesessen, zerschunden und sehr, sehr unschön. Der Boden weist Risse und Löcher auf. Auch sonsr Löcher überall. Markisen schmutzig und zerissen Das Frühstück ist alles andere als reichhaltig. Selbst Kaffee oder Säfte sind Fertig- und Instantprodukte. Die Sterne und Bewertungen sind sehr, sehr fragwürdig... . Wir wollten einige schöne Tage in Istanbul in einem schönen Hotel verbringen. Einzig die Lage ist hervorzuheben. Ansonsten wird das Hotel wohl nur noch bewirtschaftet bis es völlig ruiniert ist. Ansonsten ist es maximal vergleichbar mit einem bis maximal zwei Sternen in Hotels in Nordeuropa. Wir können es in diesem Zustand nicht weiterempfehlen.

Wir waren für 3 Nächte in Istanbul im Hotel Golden Horn. Es ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und nicht mit einem deutschen 4 Sterne Hotel zu vergleichen. Aber wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Das Standard Doppel-Zimmer war klein mit wenig Ablagemöglichkeiten, aber sauber! Das Bett bequem (nur die Laken hatten leider Flecken die wohl in der Wäsche nicht rausgegangen waren). Das ist Bad sehr schön. Wasserkocher mit Tassen, Teebeutel, Zucker und Kaffeeinmalportionen waren auch im Zimmer. Morgens konnte aus der Karte bestellt werden was man frühstücken möchte. Alles im Zimmerpreis mitdrin. Und auch Abends gab es Suppen-Zeit, gratis, vom Hotel von 20:00-22:00 Uhr! Alle Mitarbeiter waren freundlich. Außerdem hat man vom Restaurant und der Dachterrasse aus einen supertollen Blick auf die Altstadt und das Wasser! Alles in allem für einen kurzen Aufenthalt zum Übernachten optimal.
REINSTE KATASTROPHE!!!!!! wir haben noch nie so ein schlechtes ungepflegtes und schmutziges Hotel gesehen,wir haben ein stinkendes Zimmer im Keller bekommen wo man fast erstickt ist,wir haben angefangen zu schwitzen, es hat nach zigaretten gestunken und es gab zwar ein kleines Fenster den man jedoch nicht mal aufmachen konnte, auch wenn man es öffnen wollte wäre da keine Luft reingekommen da es mit einer Wand zugedeckt war. Das Badezimmer war so dreckig und klein dass mein hintern grad noch so reinpasste ,für ein 4 Sterne hotel hätte man wenigstens Wasser ins Zimmer stellen können noch nicht mal das. Nach langem diskutieren ist der Mann an der Rezeption uns nicht entgegengekommen und hat sogar noch dazu dumme Kommentare abgegeben.Haben dann abends im regen ein anderes Hotel gesucht!!! LEUTE ICH SCHWÖRE AUF ALLES LASST DIE FINGER VON DIESEM HOTEL, am liebsten würde ich garkein Stern geben, ich füge noch fotos bei
Ich möchte kurz meinen Aufenthalt beschreiben. Ich möchte mich als erstes bei dem Restaurantpersonal, dem Reinigungspersonal und den Hilfskräften bei der Ankunft bedanken. Die Rezeption hingegen war ein Alptraum. Unehrlichkeit, Verständnislosigkeit sowie fehlende Empathie haben unseren Aufenthalt zum schlimmsten Erlebnis gemacht. Für einen 4 Sterne Hotel sind diese Erwartungen nicht ausreichend. Es ist zudem nicht angebracht zerbrochene Glasscheiben im Bad oder zerbrochene Beleuchtung im Treppenhaus so zu belassen. Ich habe Bilder gemacht für den Fall das ein falscher Vorwurf unterstellt wird. Parkmöglichkeiten sind sehr begrenzt und nur mit Glück zu finden sonst muss man weite Wege zurücklegen bis man einen Parkplatz findet. Buffet gibt es nicht aber dafür machen die Kellner ihre Aufgaben ordentlich. Die Art und Weise des Küchenchefs und das professionelle Verhalten kann ich ganz loben. Diese Person sollte eigentlich an der Rezeption seinen Dienst ausüben. Ich war das erste mal in diesem Hotel. Ein weiteres mal werde ich es nicht mehr bevorzugen. Definitiv nicht!
优点: 1、位置很好,步行150米到海边,去钟楼和木马都不远 2、附近酒店停车都很难,他家有自己的停车场,稍微走2分钟就到 3、屋顶早餐比较丰富,景观好 4、房间超大(不知道是不是给我免费升了套房),有电梯 缺点: 唯一缺点是不算便宜,我10月下旬都订成将近500元

“Lift is an issue”
There was only one lift and it was was too small. It was also used as a service lift. I guess it was overused. One day it totally gave up and was not available for service the next few days. We needed to drag our heavy luggage on the spiral staircase. Worse, the breakfast room was at the top floor, walking up and down was a nightmare! Lucky there was great views at the rooftop to compensate for all the trouble.
